Sorry I'm a day late watching. I was finishing up restoring a decades old whirligig for a friend. You gave a great how-to! I too use painter's tape at times. Then I apply rubber cement to that and the pattern and then use a heavy rubber roller to force them together. I also have used packing tape. But, now I design my own projects so I make templates. I have a good collection of patters that aren't mine and some that were my grandfather's from the late 40's to early 50's. It has been over 50 years since I was an art major, but I decided three years ago to try and recapture some of my talent. It isn't as good as it was lol! I have a nice collection of erasers lol. That’s great to have so many patterns and many of your own design. I have used rubber cement before but prefer the spray glue.
