- Dug out the 1994 Suzuki DR350se for my ride to work this morning. This is a great bike that can do it all on and off the road. Be looking for more videos of it to come as well as the DR250se! Let me know what is your favorite dual sport!

Just picked up a 1999 in awesome condition yesterday.. can’t wait to ride today
Fun times. Looking at a 97 DR350. Love those 90s dual sports. 🔥🔥
Such a classic. Wonderful !
Wow, just wow, wow wow wow wow! haha blessed man!!! Nice engine, colors are amazing!
Nice! I’ve always loved the DR350. Having grown up in the dirt, then transitioning to the street for many years, I’m back in the dirt, but wanting a dual sport. The 90’s bikes are where it’s at for me. I’d love a 96 XR400 made street legal, but will probably end up with a DR350 as well.
The XR400 is hard to come by unfortunately. Well...so is a nice DR350.ha
Did you ever get your DR ?
Forget the XR400 . Go for the XR650L if your willing to split cases you can come dame close to make it a XR650r
Subscribed! I'm looking at a DR350 myself. Look forward to watching your Z900RS video. I passed on one my self for my 18 T120.
Fun video. I have a 95 Dr 350 with 23,000 miles and I absolutely love that thing.
I got a 93 with 22000 blows my mind cause i beat the turd cuter off it
Love these kind of bikes. Currently own a 1999 Honda XR400R but I'm very tempted to get a DR350 aswell.
My friend has a 93 DR 350 and it's sweet...Mountain Goat .
I’ve got the exact same bike 1996 and I love it agree 100% with what you said about the clocks nice and simple engine I think
They have so much more character than newer bikes
Fantastic bike/video!
Great little bike. I wish I had one for city use.
You have a DR250, as well. I used to have one when I lived in Tokyo in the early 90s. Perfect for the city.
They are both great! I'll be getting a video up on the DR250 in the spring.
This is awesome
Cool.
I got a 95. Awesome fun.
DR is great but that scenery OMG !!!
Buying one tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
Awesome! Enjoy
Got it for 1800.00. Not sure if that is good or not everything works it's in average condition not as clean as yours but runs well. Needs some tires. Not sure of miles speed do broke at 5k going to fix it.
@@myemail3829 that's a good price. As long as it has a title and its clean. I paid $2100.
si me levantara todos los dias y viera ese paisaje iria al trabajo gratis...por dios que lindo lugar para vivir
Gidday from Australia.
Because you are lucky enough to have both dr350 and dr250 could you please do a full review of both on road and off road , as there isn't much on RUclips for full reviews on these 2 bikes ,
Lot of us want to buy them but not many reviews of both .
Thanks mate .
I miss my DR350SE!!! Most fun bike I ever had! Try an FMF on it OH YEAH SUPER BRAPING.
Nice DR! I have a 1990. Jealous of that E-Start!
Thank you! I've heard the kick start years can be a pain to start!?
@@ws6man96 Yep! Once it is warm it starts up on the first kick. Getting is started when it's cold is a workout. I rebuilt the carb and adjusted the valves and it's a bit better now
@@AdvMatthew That's good to know! I also have a 1993 DR250 that needs its valves adjusted.
I had a 95dr650 that was a blast. I just picked up a 99dr350 with 1700 miles and an extra clarke 4.2 gallon tank. How far do you go before putting the petcock in reserve?
Do you still have the smog box hooked up...? I was trying to figure out where the hoses go..1 to carb 1 to air n 1 to petcock? .I'm working on the same bike for a friend, I hope I get it goin so I can ride it!
looking forward to seeing the DR250se just picked one up . Would love to hear power and torque diff. between the two
Be on the lookout for the video come Spring! Thanks for commenting.
Nice! 👍🏻🙏🏻😀
Hi! I have to change the carburetor for my
suzuki dr350S, it is a mikuni bst33ss. You will know if it supports the
carburetor of the dr350R mikuni tm33, or you know any other that can be placed,
since the original is not available.
Nice ride, dude ... thanks for sharing. What do you think about the DR650?
Nice vid. So we are now into September, and I have a question for you. Between the DR250 and the DR350 which set of keys do you grab most often? Both bikes are close to the same size, weight and horsepower. I am leaning toward the DR350 because I think I am just a bit large for the DR250, I am 6' and 230#. My riding will be about 50/50 street/trail, and I won't be doing anything technical. Much of it will be wooded trail in Minnesota, so pretty tame. Also I am an older guy, so I won't be ripping anything. Does one start easier than the other?
They are both the same as far as the frame, seat height, starting procedure, shifting/ gearbox and even motor go. They are pretty much identical besides the extra 100cc and it's a huge difference between them. The 350 is geared higher from factory making it easier to cruise on the highway. If you can find a nice, clean DR350se choose it but the 250s are still great.
Any DR250se or DR350se past 1994 will have electric start.
I really want a 650 cause I'd like to be able to do highway, but money is short. What does this top out at? Thanks.
Whats going on with your throttle grip here? Bit odd :D
This bike does have great torque and gearing for it. However....Suzuki's gearing dept dropped the ball on their biggest seller ever. The DRZ. I just sold my DRZE {that happened to be Travis Pastrana's} cuz I hated the gearing so bad. Looking at a '90 DR350S and after test riding it Im impressed. Much better overall dual sport IMO than the DRZ
Nice bike....I've owned Dr100 Dr200, Rm125, Panterra 125, KLX300R......the best two were the Dr100 and the Klx300r.....if the Dr200 wasn't bashed b4 I purchased it may have been a pick over the Kawasaki, that KLX300R all but the exhaust was stock and it was one of the fastest bikes I have ever ridden, I think faster than a Honda 400 that I rode just once....but for over all riding, dependability, EASY to start, speed......the DR's are my pick
Do these bikes have rear turn signals? I was looking at one online for sale and did not appear like it did.
If it's the street edition (se) model it should. If it doesnt, it is either the dirt model or they removed them/ broke off.
I gotta 94 klr 250 and I love it.
Sweet! Another great workhorse of a bike. I decided to go with the DR since they got electric start vs the KLR250 that year.
@@ws6man96 my buddy has a dr 350 and the electric start is nice but nothing more reliable then the good ol kick start.and she fires up no problem every time. I took it up in the mountains riding some trails and did a good hill climb and it did great! It's my first bike and I absolutely love it!
@@ws6man96 Do you know if the stock klr 250 battery can handle a small light bar? I wanna upgrade my headlight to an LED which will fix right in the stock housing no problem but I wanna mount a light bar on it and make it so I can go night riding up in the woods and whatnot.
@@nathanladd3096 most likely. Just pay attention to wattage and volts. Keep them close to the original.
looking into getting a 96 dr350 for my first bike
Nice find! Good first bike and bike to always keep.
almightyeggroll951 how did it go? Enjoy the bike?
I like these better than the DRC 400s. I like the DRC 400 but it really needs to six speed, it Would just do a little better on the slow stuff with lower first gear and the five speed just doesn’t have the range to lower it without costing you at the high end. I think they moved backwards with it I should’ve just kept this transmission
At 5:43 there, I can't quite tell how FAST are you going?
Gud молодец мне понравилось
I'm going to check out a 94 350 SE tomorrow
Got any advice what to look out for?
Minimal rust on the frame and no cracks. Watch the airbox hasnt been cut or the jetting is off.
@@ws6man96
Rust and cracks I can see, getting not sure about,
thank you
@@TheSprinterVan just make sure it revs evenly and doesnt have any flat spots while riding especially pulling a hill.
What camera did you use?
Sena Prism which records live/direct through my Sena 20s headset.
Awesome Video and Info. Looking at getting a 1999 DR350 in good shape with 17,000 miles. Is it worth $1600? thx
Absolutely! Nice examples are getting hard to find. I paid $2100 for mine.
Thanks!!!!
I paid 700 for my 92 with only 4000 miles, 5 gallon tank and supertrap exhaust. It didn't run, but all i had to do was bypass the neural switch and everything is perfect. I use it as a dirt bike and it performs amazing on and off road.
@@jackmehoff5797 were you having a no spark issue?
I know this is a year or so late, but I'm looking at getting a 92 DR350 with only 500 miles for $1800!!
Do you recommend this as a starter bike?
Yes, it's a great all around bike. The seat height can be intimidating at first.
@@ws6man96 awesome thanks
How many mpg do you get?
Around 45mpg if I remember correctly
How is the bike like on the highway ?
In my opinion with its stock gearing its acceptable. 60/65 is easy even 70mph. I wouldn't want to cruise at much higher of a speed than that for an extended period of time. Its light so it is prone to being blown around.
It's possible to buy this motorcycle Dr 350 and how much sell?
I wouldn't sell, sorry.
I want a motorcycle very badly for my work commute but don’t do well with manual.. ☹️ I wish they made something like this in automatic
Buy a motorscooter. The bigger models are quite stable and still smooth
@@tvr419 lol I bought a dual sport 4 months ago and put a new engine in it 2 days ago. I have learned how to ride manual
You didn’t mention speed/rpm
Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to include that next time!
