Brings back memories as I used to live in FL and had a xt350. Have a dr350 now. Both are good bikes, but I like the taller bikes. Do not miss driving in that traffic. Y'all stay safe.

I noticed your tach bounces around when shifting, mines does this too. Have you ever looked into this problem?

Hmmm, good question.. Well it never really bothered me I know it's got rubber bushings on the mounts because I had to remove it when I was trying to figure out how to replace the tach light bulb that was out, so I assumed it was to suppress the the bouncing somewhat.

    Hello,
You have a very nice xt 350! Mine is a 1987, great bikes. At what altitude are you riding, and are you running the stock jet sizes? I like how quickly your revs are dropping, maybe mine is a little lean or yours is a bit rich :D.
    Just a tip:
Don't ever forget to turn off your blinker! Especially the right one!
Because someone with a car waiting for you from your right side, will see the blinker and will think that you are about to turn right, and he will go, in order to make space for you. The left blinker is not so dangerous as the right one, but still.
    Ride safe!

Hi Kamen..I'm at sea level here in Florida not to far from the coast. My jets are stock, I haven't found a need for any performance mods on my bike except for the suspension. Yep, I do often forget to turn off my signal light. I have to continually remind myself it has to be turned off manually. These bikes are great for just a out any type of terrain, super reliable and very inexpensive to maintain. Thanks for your comments. I appreciate your views man, enjoy your ride and be safe.

@@knobbsdc-4358 How is the market for new original parts in the US? Here in Europe I struggle to find some plastics around the chain, and new exhaust and some fresh rubber parts for the carbs. I like to keep my bike original too, but lots of discontinued parts. I ride in between 36m to 800meters above sea level. Stock jets too, but my exhaust has been changed, welded and a with a smaller diameter than the stock one, yet my bike is still running a bit lean but I am not done in tuning the carb air/fuel screw.

@@KamenKachevWell, I've been able to find pretty much about 99% of my needed parts on ebay. What I do is when I see a vendor selling parts I may need, I always write to them asking for any other parts they may have but not yet posted, usually they are happy to respond with in a day. As far as your air/fuel mixture...factory setting is from a light closed position, 2 and 1/8th open, less is ok,more us not, that's it. Then don't ever touch it again. I'll see if I can find a used parts vendor for you and post it. Most new OEM parts i have found in the UK or Spain. Only part thats been hardest to find has been the carbs, I have an extra one as backup. Thanks
