We've been getting lots of questions about where we bought some of the products featured in our van conversion, so we made a blog post about the items and where you can find links to them. Check it out below! Van Conversion Product Post: livesunscripted.com/14-van-conversion-products/
Lives Unscripted Finally, someone does a Savanna van build tour. This model of van [GMC] doesn't get any attention like its twin sibling, the Express. Kudos to ya'll on the build. That door/wall divider is great for stealth camping and gives your van a "fleet vehicle" look. Also, you drill 1/8", round holes into some of the wood to reduce weight. Watch Dylan McNaster's video on this very idea. I may have spelled his last name wrong. Lol
you guys are cute. love the t-shirts. Im glad to see a video where the vloggers are NOT being douchey by constantly putting the cameras in their faces and trying to act like celebrities but actually providing a real tour of the van. great explanation and life choice. Kudos!
Love the van tour...gosh what a brilliant build you did... I love it.. Congratulations!!!! nothing like re- visiting your van rebuild again.... a lot of good info.... thanks!!!!!
Nice layout! I like the two bench seats with the storage underneath and table in the middle that's pretty creative. I also liked how you guys made little storage trays under the bed where her her clothes & small tools were. I also like the clean simple look to everything.
I’m in the process of building my van now, Maxx Air fan goes in tomorrow. Your bed storage area gave me a whole new meaning storage. I’m changing my bed design. 😊 the drop down table is a convenience. Thanks!
love your van! how did you do the underbed cabinet for clothes and the one for tools? framed out bed with 2x4's, plywood underneath as well as hinged ply on top for bed base? love that idea, how tall is your bed? so makes the table right height-love that! also thanks for very clearly laying out your battery and inverter connections-i may copy your design because also love how it is seat you can put your feet up on, or have extra seat for another person. for me, since solo, would put a toilet under single seat instead of clothes. thanks for demo-have given me great ideas!
I’ve watched tons of van tours but yours is my fave. I love that is is minimalist and simple yet it’s organized and functional. I don’t own a van tour but would love to live a van life to go cross country. Safe travels to you both! 😁
I’ve been looking for lights like the ones you installed that run along the top of the inside. I’m talking about the opaque plastic thing that u put ontop of the led lights. Where did you buy those from? thanks!🤙
This van is really nicely done ,It looks so professional , I particularly like the front cage with the door to the front .It so looks like a working van ,very stealth. Then absolutely beautiful inside a lot of care went into this plus the solar is done so well you would never know you have 4 panels up there .
wow, very nicely put together.I couldn't deal with the lack of a high top personally and having the cab divider sucks up valuable space, when parked my cab area becomes part of my living space (swivel passenger seat and just a little extra floor space)but I love the clean well thought out work you did! especially utilizing the few inches under the bed between the 2x4's that would have otherwise been wasted.
Yup, I know what you mean. There are definetly pros and cons to the divider. We kept it in because it came with the van, otherwise I don't think we would have bought one. We also thought not having a high top would be a problem for us, but we are pretty short people so it is okay. If you are taller it could definetly pose problems tho. That is awesome that you have a van too!
I just bought an 09 express Saturday and pulled out the divider and contractor cabinets. I'm putting a swivel under the passenger seat and will put 2 of my 3 AGM's behind the driver seat. Removing the divider freed up space so I can do that. I'll put a moveable bench between the seats that I can move to use as a foot rest.
Everything is so neat, organized and well laid out. You descriptions, so far, are easy to follow. I'll be watching for more descriptions of your solar system. Thanks for posting.
Well done. Very neat and spacious. I would definitely want a toilet, but there's enough spare room to add something if you ever need to. My thinking is, extended boondocking away in the wilds. Enjoy your adventures
Thanks. Yes, there is definitely room for a toilet, we just haven't needed one yet. A lot of the free campsites we have found had pit toilets which was great.
Impressive design and construction of your living and storage spaces - I especially liked the clean implementation of your power system. Thanks for sharing!
This is one of the most neat van built out. Very clean and crisp. Love the organization on the battery bank. Excellent use of your space. Looking forward toward video on battery set-up. I subscribed. Keep up the excellent work.
That's one of the best builds I've seen on RUclips for a cargo van. Everything is done in a logical way and there seems to be plenty of space and storage. I really like the electronics layout, from the cool buttons to the system status displays. I am in the process of planning my escape from the rat race and your build is definitely an inspiration! Great job, guys! Subbed and safe travels!
Thanks so much! It took us a while to figure out how we wanted it, but we are happy with how it turned out. We knew we were going to be travelling in it for awhile so we had to maximize the space as best as we could. I am glad we inspired you! Good luck on your future endeavours.
Well, it's an awesome build and it's great to see young people like yourselves out living your lives to the fullest. Would that I had done the same at your age...I'm sure there are things I won't be able to do now that I'm older. But that's not going to stop me from doing the things that I can still do. Safe travels, guys! I'll be watching :)
One of the best builds I've seen. Love it! (If you swap the kitchen cabinet's generic handles with a different design eg slightly chunkier, flatter/wider, modern look (cheap for 5 or more on ebay etc), it will instantly make the cupboards look A grade. It's the little details lol. SERIOUSLY LOVE YOUR DESIGNING! Hi from New Zealand :)
Thanks. We are glad you liked our conversion. Good idea with the handles. Those were the best ones we could find at the hardware store. We wanted to get ones that wouldn't hurt if we ran into them or catch on things. Hopefully we will make it to New Zealand one day. We have always wanted to go.
Well done . Not sure how long you plan on Van Life, but you may want to ad some ventilation for your mattress. Cold, damp, and body heat, it could get nasty. Have a blast and travel safe.
I can't believe I just found your channel...are you still on youtube? I'd like to subscribe and become a follower to your adventures. What a great and cozy home you have...love it! If I may ask, how do you cook? and where do you go to the bathroom? Let's say your boon docking & there are no restrooms. Thanks to you both!
Awesome! Am I correct that this is the 155" wheelbase? Also curious: do the large windows on the sides towards the rear help or hurt overall? Less stealth and less secure perhaps? But more visibility when you want it? Thoughts?
Really nice van conversion. When I saw the seats for dining, I though that you could convert the smaller one into a loo, just lift the seat and you would reveal a toilet seat over a bucket, just add sawdust as needed and throw away the waste in a plastic bag.
This is one of my favs on a Chevy, nice set up and finishes, all clean and arranged, I have a question tough, is the bed meant to sleep sideways? or the other way around?
U have a great build I'm currently shopping for a van and I'm looking at one similar to urs my question is how is it with all the windows u made it look great but in general having all the windows down the van and heating or cooling did u have to do anything special to block them off insulation? Anything you could say about it good or bad
Wow fine conversion! What is the length of your van? In watching I forgot that it was a lower roof, didn’t feel like any compromise, felt so roomie. I loved the compartments under the bed. We’re they both the same depth? Just looked like clothes side was deeper. Love the table too, i hope the table is listed in reference somewhere its a nice design to consider. Hope to see some of your travels. OH and that door in between the cab, very nice ! Ive seen many sold like this from rentals, but you made great use without having to remove it! Kudos!!
Our van is 15 feet long. Behind the cab is 12 feet. Yes, the compartments were both the same depth we probably should have lowered the one with my clothes though. I am glad you liked our van conversion.
Thanks, the divider came with the van. We decided to keep it in, because it makes it look more like a work van. It has been nice. We added insulation to the divider too which helps keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Great build! Nice van! may I ask: what is the cover over the left rear side window? Is that for privacy? Looks like you have the right rear side window uncovered. Is that for more visability? Thanks!
My bad. I see the photos on your blog post and it looks like your van does not have stock side windows on the driver side. Just curious: was this van a passenger van or cargo van before you began the build? Thanks!
Thanks. No, we do not have a refrigerator. I think we would have enough solar for a refridgerator, but haven't found any need for one. We usually go shopping every few days. If we buy things that need to be refridgerated we use them right away. Also, when we were in colder temperatures the front our van was cold enough to keep things for a few days. It seems to work fine for us.
I eat a plant based diet and after a couple days of fresh, can use dried foods. Because of the current surge in interest in plant based eating, there are more and more vendors for dried foods. They have improved over the years.
Love your conversion! Looks very well thought out. I especially like the small spaces well utilized. Enjoy your travels together and I plan to check in from time to time! Subscribed! 😀
Nice video guys. I am looking to do the same kind of thing with a pop up table. Can you tell me where you got the movable leg you have under it? Many thanks.
Great build! No stove or porta-potty? To build your channel people are obsessed with "what I eat in a day" (cooking and eating and if you're vegan that's icing on the 🎂) and "day in van life" videos. All the best! Happy Trails!
Thanks! We cook using our Camp Chef stove, backpacking stove, or induction cook top. We don't have a porta-potty, but we are fine with that. We could always add one if we really needed to though. Thanks for the tips too. We will definetly give them a try.
you guys sleep east to west not north and south how wide is the van?? your simple water system is the best thanks ps whats the answer on the grenade puzzle? would really like to know!!
Nice van. Very thorough and functional. Congrats on a great build. That fold-out table - where do buy that fold out leg from? I'd be interested in a similar table set up. Thanks.
So apart from the two obvious words "Over" and "Under", I also got "Live" and "Love". Are those the four words? Your build is fantastic! Just subbed you. Looking forward to more videos.
Thanks for the sub. You are corerct with the words over and under. There are four words, but it is more of a quote. The first word has 5 letters, the second has 4 letters, the third has 4 letters, and the last one has 7 letters.
That is awesome. Sprinters are a great option for camper vans, because of the head room. We didn't talk about how we cook in this video, but we are going to make a separate cooking video. We have a Camp Chef Stove, induction cook top, and backpacking stove that we use. Good luck on your Sprinter build! We would love to see how it turns out.

Really smart adding that shallow storage in the bed!
Yeah, it has been a great extra space!
Really nice setup. Love the hidden table, plenty of storage and the door to keep your cozy space separate from the front of the van. Very smart setup.
Thanks. The storage under the bed has definetly helped us save space especially since it would have been wasted space otherwise.
I like your build. I love the use of the space for the tools and clothes. Happy travels.
I have been combing RUclips for months. I love your build. I'll copy much! thanks
Awesome! I am glad we could help!

under sell, over deliver! Nice van! Very clean and uncluttered.
You got it!! I am glad you like our van.
I’ve been looking for lights like the ones you installed that run along the top of the inside. I’m talking about the opaque plastic thing that u put ontop of the led lights. Where did you buy those from? thanks!🤙
Good job. Love the stealth
Thanks for watching!
Super job! Looks like an extra long van with lots of room! That's great!
Thanks. Our van is an extended van which is plenty of room for what we need.
wow I LOVE your design and ideas! I'm going to keep them in mind,.
This van is really nicely done ,It looks so professional , I particularly like the front cage with the door to the front .It so looks like a working van ,very stealth. Then absolutely beautiful inside a lot of care went into this plus the solar is done so well you would never know you have 4 panels up there .
Thanks so much for the kind words! It took a lot of planning and thinking through, but we are happy with how it turned out. :)

I am glad you found this video helpful! :)
Would also love to see video of your solar system install!
The way you say "pasta" cracks me up.
Lol that must be my Canadian accent.
I really like what you did with the space between the bed boards and the underside of the bed frame. Well done and an inspiration!
Thanks so much. It has really come in handy. We tried to utilize all of the space we had as best as we could.
Nice job. Is there room under the van for a holding tank?
I like that layout. Thanks for sharing.
Your creativity has paid off - it looks great !
Thanks. We are glad you liked our van build.
Great job..... keep up the good work.... you 2 inspired me... I just bought a 2000 Ford econoline ..👍
Well done. Very neat and spacious.
I would definitely want a toilet, but there's enough spare room to add something if you ever need to. My thinking is, extended boondocking away in the wilds.

Wow I loved this
So innovative and creative

I loved the shallow shelf under the bed for tools you need most often. I would need comfier seating but I'm getting old haha
Does your van alternator also charge your house battery?
Very stealthy, and nice layout. Really good build!
Thanks! It has definitely helped us stay in big cities without getting hassled.
Nice set up for your home on wheels! I see a grenade in the pic her brother made 😁
Wow best van conversion when it comes to Tech I've seen!!!
Well done . Not sure how long you plan on Van Life, but you may want to ad some ventilation for your mattress. Cold, damp, and body heat, it could get nasty. Have a blast and travel safe.

Really nice Guys. Some great engineering, especially on the electrics. Lots of useful storage. Wishing you all the best from England. Roy and Tanya x
Thanks. Having the higher bed really helped give us the storage space we needed. We have a lot of outdoor gear.
Very clean and bright looking with the white. I really like the storage btw the 2x2 framing. Great idea.
Thanks. The 2x2 framing helped save space and kept the weight down. It is still strong enough too.
Nice clean job you guys did.
Thanks. It was a lot of work, but we are happy with how it turned out.

This is a great set up! It looks fantastic and it's so organized. Love this!
Thanks so much!
Toilet? Shower? Anything at all? Very nice work on all the solar and wiring. Congrats.
Absolutely amazing job !!
extremely well laid out.
Thanks. It took a lot of work, but we are happy with how it turned out.
Looks very cozy.
What size is the mattress twin full or queen
I am 6foot 3inches
Very organized and clean!
Thanks. Organized and clean is important when living in a small space.
Really nice van conversion. When I saw the seats for dining, I though that you could convert the smaller one into a loo, just lift the seat and you would reveal a toilet seat over a bucket, just add sawdust as needed and throw away the waste in a plastic bag.
Thanks. That wouldn't be a bad spot for a toilet if we ever decided we wanted one. Thanks for the tip!
Great use of space!
This is one of my favs on a Chevy, nice set up and finishes, all clean and arranged, I have a question tough, is the bed meant to sleep sideways? or the other way around?
"2 Virgos Build a Camper Van!" LOL! =D Perfection!!!
You did it up right! Great Job!
Y'all did an excellent job on you van build.
Thanks so much!
Love, love all your white cabinets!
Thanks. I am glad we went with white, because it makes our van feel bigger. It also helps brighten up the space.
U have a great build I'm currently shopping for a van and I'm looking at one similar to urs my question is how is it with all the windows u made it look great but in general having all the windows down the van and heating or cooling did u have to do anything special to block them off insulation? One of the best builds I've seen.
Thanks so much!
I love how you designed your van.
Thanks! 👍
Nice van y'all
Great video!
That is cool. Thanks for sharing.
Just need a TV looks super comfortable
so inspiring love it so much❤❤❤ great job
Thanks. We are glad we could inspire you!
move the car monoxide down near the floorboard
Where's your fridge or cooler? Bathroom bucket, just curious. Love the build, very creative!
So functional!!👌👌
That's awesome...impressive, nice home! Infomativeand helpful video!!
Thanks so much! We have enjoyed travelling in our van so far too!
........ beautifully done.........thumbs up.
Thanks for watching!
very nice setup! thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Excellent build!
Thanks! It took a lot of work, but we are happy with how it turned out.
Great simple and cozy. We have salad bowl sink in our van as well :) LOL
Awesome! We love our salad bowl sink.
I'd love to see a van using a square sink. In a small space, round sinks seem to just waste counter space.
I am glad you liked our van conversion.
good job guys!
Nice job, thanks for sharing.
You're welcome! We are glad you liked it.
Nice set up and I like your divider good job!
Thanks, the divider came with the van. We decided to keep it in, because it makes it look more like a work van. It has been nice. We added insulation to the divider too which helps keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Wow. I’m impressed. Great ideas.
Thanks. We are glad you liked our van conversion! :)
Thanks!
Wow yall made that a AWESOME HOME 👍😎👊
Thanks!
Super nice! You guys are awesome! I really appreciate this video ! Hugs and Safe Travels, MommaFaye
Thanks so much! :)
Very impressive! So you guys don't have a refrigerator? Super nice job on the electrical. I like how neat the wiring is!
Yes, we also eat a plant based diet, so not having a refridgerator hasn't been a problem.
Really nice van build.
Love your conversion! Looks very well thought out. I especially like the small spaces well utilized. Enjoy your travels together and I plan to check in from time to time! Subscribed! 😀
Thanks for subscribing. We are glad you liked our van!
You really created a very nice and cosy van. Happy travels in 2018.
Thanks. Have a great 2018 too!
👍Very nice, thanks for sharing.
🤗💞🤗
Definitely impressive !!!
Thanks so much!
Nice video guys. I am looking to do the same kind of thing with a pop up table. Can you tell me where you got the movable leg you have under it? Many thanks.
Thanks! We purchased the table leg online. Here is the link for it. www.kitchensource.com/table-bases/ha-635.64.901.htm?p=HA-635.64.901
Simple build love it

Wow. You all have a nice van!!!
Thanks!
When will you all do a tutorial on how to install solar units to a van?
nice build!!!🤙
Nice camper van😍😀
you guys sleep east to west not north and south how wide is the van?? your simple water system is the best thanks ps whats the answer on the grenade puzzle? would really like to know!!
Nice van. Very thorough and functional. Congrats on a great build. That fold-out table - where do buy that fold out leg from? I'd be interested in a similar table set up. Thanks.
Thanks. We purchased the table leg online. Here is the link for it. www.kitchensource.com/table-bases/ha-635.64.901.htm?p=HA-635.64.901

Zentierra Under, Love,Live,Over,Sell and Deliver.
So "Under sell, over deliver", but yes, "live" and "love" are also in there.
Loved the video. Converting a Sprinter currently. Just at the insulation stage, hopefully finish it by late spring. Did I miss it but how do you cook?
That is awesome. Sprinters are a great option for camper vans, because of the head room. We didn't talk about how we cook in this video, but we are going to make a separate cooking video. We have a Camp Chef Stove, induction cook top, and backpacking stove that we use. Good luck on your Sprinter build! We would love to see how it turns out.
Great job guys!
Thanks. It was a lot of work, but I am glad we decided to do it ourselves.
