brilliant, abso-lute-ly brilliant. Kudos to Josh for his workmanship and you, Ian for the design and gadgets galore. It works for you guys and that's what matters. You boys could do this as a lucrative venture. Many fans wish this lifestyle, yet the customers far outweigh the builders. Three cheers for Ian, the innovator.
Thanks for the video. Fabulous job. My latest conversion is a Renault Trafic LWB van into a "Touring Van". We don't sleep in the van but use it for trips around Australia and stop for a cup of tea or coffee in nice spots. We sleep in Caravan Park cabins. This is the fourth van I have done in the last 30 years ( I am 80 now). Our van setup is removable in 15 minutes in case we need to fit facilities for a gopher. Thanks again for giving me inspiration to do more in our van.
The difference from making your own build, to being able to afford to have one built. Don't get me wrong, it's super beautiful, very clean and exact. Your guy did a beautiful job!
Coolest van conversion yet, just amazing. I took notes from start to finish. I just got my minivan this week, and so glad I saw your video before my project. Blessings on your travels, Gogo
Call a plumber or hire a handyman from the classifieds and the waiting will be over. Can't be that expensive, it's not that hard unless you need wall plumbing done. Mine just attached to the water valve beneath the tank.
Wow! I am completely blown away. What an awesome van build. So much crammed into a small space. Love that jackknife couch, looks very comfortable. Interesting how you have vented the fridge. So clean.
Nice cuddle bed for two and I got good ideas for increasing security; great rv stove and sizable burners too; yes, bidet attached to toilet is a must. Next, wife says: "Honey can I have a high top?"
Heck yeah!!! You have done an amazing job with your van. My boyfriend's parents had a 1981 Ford clubwagon van. His mother has been in a wheelchair for a long time and that's why they had it. They actually adopted him and his two siblings so that they wouldn't be split up. Anyway they gave him that van for his birthday this past Dec. We haven't started yet but we want to. Can't afford much due to being on disability but it really doesn't take a lot just to get started and stay close to home. I hope.
THE. MOST. AMAZING. VAN. BUILD. E V E R !!!!! I couldn't function in a camper van - I'm on the larger side and can't work with cabinets low to the ground - but I'm truly amazed at all the wonderful things you've packed into this build! It's inspiring! I'm going to use some of these ideas with our Scamp trailer.
I am so IMPRESSED. Started watching your videos when you first got the van. I did pray too when i made the hole on my roof lol and thought about you. It looks amazing, looks like it was made by professionals. i did the floor of my van based on yours and got some other ideas from you too. I just finished my bed. i haven't done any cabinetry work because i have been traveling. Thank you for posting ALL THE BUILD UP VIDEOS. They were really helpful and clear to understand especially for me who had no idea about anything. God bless.
Great Van build learned a lot. Mostly on the electronic end. Also like the oven. My friend brought that camping. I thought it was silly until they made garlic bread, french fries, baked potatoes with cheese. The low-tech toilet is a no no. Cassette toilet is the way to go. You went to all this trouble and didn't raise the roof. Not a fan of the bed, that's got to be uncomfortable, or the truck box on the back of the truck. Better platform bed would have given you all the storage you had in the truck box. Impressed by many of the items. I'm sure it works well for you. I'm getting ready to build out a weekend van camper. 3-5 hours any Direction with one or two night stays. My wife is concerned about security. I like those cameras and sensors!
My husband never has an opinion about the van builds I watch. However, he is totally impressed by what you have done. How is the oven working out? Have you ever thought about raising the roof to your van and adding an a/c? Enjoy your journey!
Dawn, thanks for the kind words. The oven is great! We use the stove more than the oven, but the oven is great for storage when not in use. If I had the money I might raise the roof....but maybe not....if I were going to live in it full time, I probably would. But I like the simplicity of the standard roof. I am looking at adding a regular window ac unit in the back door. I will make a vid on that as soon as I start....It is getting hot here in Florida now!!!! So the heat is making me get on it. :)
wow! my build is real Flintstone looking compared with you man! that's a Grrrreat Build! wished I had an extended! you guys caressed that interior until it bloomed! its beautiful! van builds, I think, are a form of art expressed by their master.
I really loved it. It has a home feeling on the go. Great, Congratulations.!!!! Will be copying almost everything from your van since I will be working in my Van.
Love the video! I'm currently building a van. One point is "resilient flooring" is not about durability (though I am sure it is durable) it is named for it's ability to flex or "give" if you will! Enjoy your van, great build!
Super nice build, and one of the most uniquely different I've seen on YT. So many are so similar. Yours is very personalized and fun looking. Lots of good ideas.
THIS is THE best camper van build out video -with a list of components I have EVER seen. Yes, you SHOULD start a business doing this! Now, I am going to go look for that Amazon bidet! :)
I'm glad to have finally seen someone put the bed on the right side of the van. I just bought a van, and I plan to put the bed on the right side because I have had two vehicles hit or sideswiped while parked, in the past. And I plan to do some stealth camping and do not want to receive an impact on the side I'm sleeping on. It may never happen, but I'm pretty sure it would be pretty traumatic and possibly injurious
Great built with very good ideas. It looks like you are using a 110v dorm fridge. I've use them for years on my vans. They evacuate the heat through the side wall. It looks like you have completely blocked those walls. It will be dramatically more efficient is you let those walls to breath.
Great ideas. I have the exact same van. Looks like the same years (2006) just a differnt color. An I also live in Escambia county. (Funny) Bought it a few years ago for my big lifes change from New England to Florida. Went everywhere in between. Now Im getting it ready for a possible cross country excursion. Thanks for the show.
That's one of the best campervan conversions I've ever seen. Great design coupled with great quality workmanship. And that list of equipment you took the time to list is a great reference for anyone contemplating a similar project. Thanks :)
You did a great job. Remember that ALL dogs must be leashed in Nat'l Parks, etc. Check out the regs before you take yr 4-foot on yr hike. Occasionally, he/she may bff ave to stay home, in the van. If its hot, be sure to put up yr insulated window panels & keep the air moving. You guys did a great job!
AWESOME.... ! I have the same van... DEFINITELY the best build I've seen in a standard roof (non-popup) build ! Thanks for the tour ! Be Blessed by and with the time you spend in and out of it ! Remember the strength is only in the braid of three not two... God in the center and First.... and you both braided around Him ! Enjoy !
Just wow! I love discovering how creative and inventive van campers can be in their designs. The fireplace was an all-time new! And yes, bidets are awesome, the best I've seen were in Japan. #Enjoy
Your setup is dang near exactly what I've been wanting and dreaming up. Great job. I'm inspired. As a videographer something like this will definitely come in handy.

Unfortunately, I didn't really have a good detail video on the side camera install. Here is an overview of that part of the build: ruclips.net/video/By0AbYBbgVI/видео.html

Perfect place to put the facilities imo. I see way too many folks store it up front behind the driver seat. The back is the best place. Easier to empty from there too
Bidet, absolutely genius!!! Even just to feel clean. I love it! But you should of given her a shower dude... even if you hooked up a shower hose at the back for an outside shower. My non negotiables are having a composting toilet and shower. Even if that means a larger van. Also! With all the bells and whistles you put into that gorgeous machine, you could of gotten an on demand water heater. Just my two cents. You obviously pulled out all the stops, so you had the money. Never too late to add those things for the wifey!
Thanks for the input Crafty. I do have a portable shower and enclosure (not part of the van). Most of the places we have camped so far have shower houses which is convenient. We are not doing a lot of long term off grid camping yet.
Understand your married life approach to making it good but I'm single and I'm fully inspired by what you have done you built your bed exactly like I did not want to and converted me thank you for that
Your van build is so well thought out...I'd hire you :) Love the swing away arm ...you gave me an idea for my minivan which might solve a problem with a kitchen area big enough ....
Ha and I just reached the Bidet part and have myself just recently experienced one and I agree and am laughing that you made one for the van out of a garden sprayer...GENIUS!!!
@@vjhurstcreations5473 thanks for watching! Glad you got some ideas for your build. People seem to find the bidet part the funniest...but I works well. :)
Very well thought out...love the fireplace....kudos on the luggable-loo....very handy....the 1st time you need it, you'll be GLAD you have it...the privacy curtain is a nice touch [kudos to the missus] 😊Happy travels☺🙋♀️
Awesome set-up.. Thanks for sharing.I have that same stove.. I purchased it from Gander Mountain I love it.Yes I love your bday...lol..I see I am way behind on your video.. I would love to see a up date on how it's going now..
really nice van build! Great cabinetry job! Good use of space. Hope you guys get to really use it and make some good memories to last a lifetime! Peace
WOW! It is so nice, you have a lot of knowledge to build the van. I really love the swaying bar for the cargo and a lot of details for the functionality. I am a 866th subscriber. I will follow you for your adventures in the future. Very nice job and well designed. Thank you! I really enjoyed!
"I wanted to keep the van as stealthy as possible."
Funny stuff!
Yea, right?!
LOL.
So much good usable technology in this build. No wonder it took a year. Ian, you did good!
Thank you Ginny!
100% agree!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD have a bidet.... THAT IS SO COOL!!! A bidet in your van...Nice conversion. Perfect weekend home
Beautiful creation. My favorite build for the "Regular Guy" to date. Compliments to all who helped in this creation.
Thank you.
Great build, love the little oven. So much detail, all the comfort of home.
Thank you Christine.

one of the nicest cargo van builds that I have seen on here... everything is well thought out and practical.
Thank you Lionel.

Wow! I am completely blown away. What an awesome van build. So much crammed into a small space. Love that jackknife couch, looks very comfortable. Interesting how you have vented the fridge. So clean.

Yes excellent job. What brand is that jacknife couch ? I really like that a bed isn't permanently taking up space.
this was one of the best van build vids. but all that well thought out stuff in a van you can't stand up in!!!
Thank you.
its not like you are gonna walk around inside your van all day anyway. or?
Nice cuddle bed for two and I got good ideas for increasing security; great rv stove and sizable burners too; yes, bidet attached to toilet is a must. Next, wife says: "Honey can I have a high top?"
