I destroyed my wheel at mile marker 19.6 it was about a 10 mile hike down with the bike down to Cottonwood Canyon i could kind of ride out on the double track going slow, really sucked
@@coloradocamera Oh wow that sounds horrendous! I kept envisioning having to hike the last half and how it’d probably suck as there’s no shortcuts! Sorry to hear that!
Those switchbacks look ridiculous, and not designed well for cycling. Maybe they did it on purpose to reduce it's desirability. I haven't done that one. Hearing about the death on that trail, I've kinda stayed away from it. When I'm on the western slop, I'm usually solo, and I don't think it's a good idea to hit the Punge solo. I had heard that there was no water on the trail, but you proved that wrong. Bring a filter and fill up so you don't die.
@@matthewhall8790 for a short section it seems there was no choice but to make them tight, other areas not so much. A water filter is always a good idea and the big creek midway is kind of ideal! 👍
Thank you Robert for making us look good!😂😂😂😂
@@AlexeiPavlov Thanks for the invite! I had a blast!
There were a few spots where I said, 'oh my god, be careful' to my computer. Awesome ride! I particularly enjoyed the crickets!
@@bdoyle965 haha there’s some intense bits! I sat there quite a while contemplating that one spot!
Not sure I want to do that one. But you rode it well!
@@Steve-r3g ha thanks! I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

@@beyond-x it’s all good I rode it all the first time! And it’s better than whole enchilada hands down! Can’t wait for next fall to ride it again!
