Would love to see Quadlock do some kind of collaboration or even an independent product like Punkcase's GhosTek Nautical cases. This seems like my only alternative as my GhosTek case is water proof. I've tried so many cases that claim "waterproofing" and they just aren't, water always gets In, and once in, stays in. Ive had my GhosTek now for 2 years, it gets put through hell every few days and still hasn't faltered, leaked or even cracked or scratched. Its been awesome... But no mounting. I thought quadlock would have done a similar product because mounting a phone on a motorcycle, in the rain, or mounting it in a marine environment, that can kill a phone quick, would have been a priority? Marine is not just a water issue, it's a sand and highly corrosive salt issue. So airtight & watertight is everything, open touch screens just won't cut it. I live near the beach so being able to wash sand off my phone under a tap is a huge... and i mean... HUGE Lifesaver! Especially after fishing and hands are Salty, Sandy and Fishy. As a mechanic with grease, oil, brake dust and highly corrosive chemicals constantly around, and on my phone. Being chemically resistant and again, able to wash it... another huge plus, but the plastics used in the GhosTek's case construction will not allow the 3m Tape to adhere to the back of the case. Thats a downer because I'd love to be able to attach my phone somewhere on my boat, car, motorbike and know it's staying put would be a huge upside, and this would be the perfect thing for that. But I'm not willing to sacrifice my waterproofing, chemproofing, dirt and dust proofing for a phone holder. If QuadLock had a nautical option, that would be awesome (especially if it was buoyant, or even a tough, boyant leash)... What sold me on GhosTek really was they didn't try to sell me BS, like with everything nautical, there are depth restrictions, pressure restrictions and over time restrictions. Simply saying "waterproof" or "water resistant" is not enough. Ghostek actually had all the restrictions of the case listed, so I knew that the manufacturer knew what they were talking about when it came to nautical "proofing" of their product, and they listed as "semi duty"... Which is understandable as "Heavy Duty" Would be something like a divers phone case (Which do exist, are expensive, and something I don't really need if I drop my phone in the water, because if it falls past 10ft depth of ocean, I'm not going in to get it... its gone) but with a flotation lanyard it only realistically needs to be waterproof up to about a meter anyway. I know companies don't usually listen to requests like this. So I'm expecting a reply but,bI'm really not expecting any kind of product development anytime soon. GhostTek seems to still be the leader in waterproof and shockproof casing, however quadlock is running number 1 for secure mounting. So what are my options? Stick with my case and just don't mount it? Or mount it and loose out on all the benefits of my current case? So I wonder if Quadlock would even consider the idea of a nautical series and would they be dedicated enough, to do the testitestingwork involved in creating a true nautical case?
you should at least add flagship phone cases in your portofolio , like x90 pro+, p60 pro/art ,one plus 11 etc...even they are not very popular outside china, they are flagships and should deserve some love
Got mine 3 months ago... only today did I find a suitable case. I underestimated how difficult it would be to find a case made out of the correct materials. Finally found one made out of "Rigid polycarbonate back with scratch-resistant coating". I would HIGHLY!! suggest quad lock to invest into a universal case. Not a universal adapter. Your competition has a universal case and I wish I had gotten that. It's a pain in the butt to find a proper phone case and even now I don't feel 100% confident this adapter will hold my phone when going 150kmph/100mph.... but I also don't want to switch brands and throw the quad lock into the garbage as it was pretty expensive. Then again, my phone is a lot more expensive....

It's not so much that I don't trust the product, but I feel like I still have to do part of the assembly and I can still mess it up... Eitherway, I just received my phonecase last night. I cleaned it with alcohol, let it dry, stuck on the adapter and placed some very heavy books on it for it to rest 24 hours... Probably going to try it out with just the empty phone case tonight :)
Totally get your concern about the Uni Adaptor not being strong, but as long as you have the right case, you'll see it bonds really well! It will not stick to silicone, rubber or hydrophobic (water-resistant) glass, and TPU. why a 3M adhesive? It can be a magnet as well. when I'm on my cycle, I'll use the magnetic mount without changing my existing magsafe phone cover. magsafe mounts are equally strong as a quadlock if not more. You could argue that lock is strong, but so is magsafe magnets. Why would it put adhesive on my phone and be left without choice? Think about it.
We've seen too many cases of phones flying off, due to magnets used on motorcycles, bikes etc. We'd rather continue with our current solution to keep devices safe and secure! Cheers - Kyle

Why TPU Phone Cases is not good for the Universal Adaptor? the smooth surface sticks very well with it.

All the covers are tpu or silicone. Oppo find x3 pro, impossible to find an ABS or other compatibile case with suggested material.

@@hdrkn5247Not designed to be reused but it can be. Clean off the old adhesive, prep the surface, and buy some new 3M adhesive.
Might as well just buy the case at that point. This was supposed to solve the issue of needing to buy an adapter every time you get a new phone. Waste. @quad_lock

Unfortunately due to the added thickness from the Universal Adaptor wireless charging compatibility is not guaranteed!
