I've never used a case on my phones in the past, so the quadlock was my first phone case, and I've loved it entirely. zero complaints, other than that they added the magnetic mounts after my pixel 6 came out, so they don't make one for that, just the normal cases. When I eventually replace my phone though, I will definitely be upgrading to the magnetic in the car.

my friend tried many brands before getting quad lock and he said quad lock is the best of all, not that every one of them are bad. It is just that quad lock IS the best.
Quadlock are good, I have been using them for years on my bikes & car. Peak design are so much more slick though & have the vibration dampener built it & not a clunky add-on. Moved over to Peak design a year ago & don’t regret it at all.
I've never been able to attach the phone to the lock in less than 10 seconds. Other people say that's about right. I had the finger ring, and my finger wouldn't fit through it. Finally, the iPhone case fell apart in about 1 year, with the sides with the buttons gaping out so I couldn't press the buttons and I worried about the phone shaking out of the case when I rode. So I tried another brand, and I'm happier.
I'll say the mount is great, the vibration reducer is great, the case locking system is great, trying to get the case to click to the base while the vibration reducer fights makes me take 10 seconds to like up right.

I have handlebar mount on my MT07 2024 and Iphone 15 Pro Max , my mount slipped and phone was almost hitting the bike. What can I do and does anybody else have the same problem?
The Locks might be doing there job of ‘locking’ in a phone, but phones are not designed for ‘this’ purpose like constant vibration. Due to the cameras these days having stabilisation sensors that are very sensitive and will quickly break if exposed to vibrations for a long ride. Save yourself the money and phone 😅
Same, my phone is just so old so I didn't really expect them to have a case for it, but I'm not going to trust my $5 phone case in high speeds, my phone might just fly out of it and the case will stay attached to the quadlock
I've had three phones over the last ten years, none of which has been fancy enough for Quadlock to make a dedicated mount for. So I've used the self-adhesive universal adapter on all of them with no problems whatsoever. On the first one, I stuck the adapter directly to the phone, but on the replacements, I bought cheap hard plastic covers, (not silicone or the adhesive won't stick), and attached the adapter to those. That way, if I don't want to use the adapter, I can just remove the cover. If you're worried that the phone might come out of the cover, just slip a suitably sized o-ring over the top and bottom of the phone to keep them together, which is what I do.

Speed isn't everything!
My imitation RAM mount has a wireless charger built in. Can Quad Lock charge a phone?
Until Quadlock(or ANY phone mount) can guarantee that my phone's camera won't break from the vibrations, I won't use any of them. I have known people that used quadlock and their cameras get ruined by the vibrations. The newer iphones are very sensitive to continuous vibrations.
No problem with my Ram Mount X-Grip. For years, with different iPhones. No damage.
i definitely need that one 😊
Dont work for the 2015 zx10 steering dampaner gets in the way of stem
The one thing I wish I had known beforehand is that if you buy a magsafe case from them, you can no longer charge your iPhone via magsafe... -.-
Quad lock was never option for me because i use a cover with kickstand
I had a ram mount like the one you showed me.I dropped my vstrom making a u turn on a dirtroad the firsttime I usedit and the mount broke . 🤬
Personally i find SP connect way better
Oh, it's sponsored, I'm out
He did say “it’s a sponsored video” he’s not trying to deceive anyone, he was paid to say good things about a product, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that just make sure you mention it is sponsored
Lost my phone on the motorway today.I have a quad lock mount and the phone was secured.
Quad Lock makes no case for my Red Hydrogen One, so, no, however interesting it is.
Check out Ram mount! I've been using it for 2 years with zero issues and you don't have to buy a special garbage case
@@22smcrrider96 I'm thinking about it, but since I already have another mount, which I must confess is far less practical, it'll wait.
@@CyberChrist as long as what you got holds the phone then keep rocking it bro! I misunderstood your comment and thought you wasn't using a mount
@@22smcrrider96 It's all good, no worries ^^ I'm just more or less on the market, but in no hurry.
And I wouldn't trust gluing a mount to my present case.
You have a phone that was discontinued literally less than a year after being announced and you want Quad Lock to make a case for it 😂
I like the guy in 2011 has a bike from the future. Guess we know why he went back... Tell past him to start the channel in this direction to improve his future.
If I could push a button that would delete every smart phone from the face of the earth, I probably would.
2:57 "...but it's impossible to fly a drone and ride a motorcycle at the same time." Itchy Boots just left the chat.
But they make cases for like 3 phones, and the universal mount is junk
LOL.. you do not need your phone mounted to your bike to use google maps.. Having a comms system like Cardo and it will give you step by step voice directions.
If they had a clear case I would have bought into their ecosystem. Ended up with rokform instead
Fun fact, you can actually retrofit the bike mount to the car.
It took me 3 years to damage my iPhone 12 using this mount and case. I will not be using it with my new iPhone.
if they would make a case for my phone I'd buy one
Same, my phone is just so old so I didn't really expect them to have a case for it, but I'm not going to trust my $5 phone case in high speeds, my phone might just fly out of it and the case will stay attached to the quadlock
Get a ram mount! No special junk case required
Getting it on is like pluggin in USB 2.0. you have to try, twist and retry it at least 3 times. I would say 0,69s is scripted and tried 400 times :D
The hype around this brand is huge. But massively overpriced and disturbingly bad buyer experience on their website.
We need that mt_07 review bruh , one of the best bikes out there tbh.😏
Lol I'll make a video soon
Aww man I really didn't want to know all that
I’d wouldn’t fall off riding fast through the desert on my dirt bike?
Okay, but, can we get this in SA?
Can't find anything here in SA but we have SP Connect here which is essentially the same idea
@@dylandeklerk9755 but with sp connect you cant rotate the phone horizontally or vertically without adjusting it with an alan key
I paid $60 for my ram mount and lost 2 phones because of it on the highway 😡
Never lost a phone with my Ram X-Grip for 15 years now.
And tried taking it on the track once at 160MPH. 🤷🏻
New Bike?
Peak Design’s mount is better.
Are you from south africa?? Your accent sounds so familiar
looked at them a couple of years ago... expensive, few phone models mostly high and few moto options. nothing changed. done with them
