      Lightning has never struck walkies or flashlights before what?
      Also lightning can combo on an object, meaning it starts the effects and such overlapping the other effect, therefore it can be struck like 3-5 times all in the span of like a second from each other. You can also force the strikes by using keys or other metal objects near the ship.
      The radar booster is your best friend in this update and you cannot change my mind. In a ping you can run and carry it while on, and your ship buddy can flash it while you run, as long as you can see your way properly. It flashes you too.
      Somehow whoopie cushions have been known to start conducting even though I don't personally believe it as I never saw it, just what a LOT of other people have told me. Here's this:

      Please stop the trend of videos telling people the walkies and flashlights are conductive. Its starting to get really annoying joining lobbies going to stormy places and "I can't take that its metal..." and then I gotta waste about 3 hours of the work day explaining that no, those two items aren't conductive but you can get struck randomly because there's a low percentage that it targets you (it can miss if you're running)
      Also the list I put implies that quieting down the robot makes it unconductive so I need to test that.
      I do appreciate the other bits, just the whole lighting and walkies and flashlights thing is honestly starting to annoy the crap out of me when we need to communicate and we are reaching 1500+ quota.

      Some feedback I thought was worth talking about:
      1) Selling your teammates. While it gives you 5 credits, worth mentioning that after you sold them they are no longer recoverable and upon leaving the company you will be met with 20% fee per teammate. Make sure to either spend all your credits before leaving OR if you are forced to meet the quota.
      2) Useful scrap. You've mentioned that signs are showels but a lot more heavy. That mostly goes for yellow sign that is somewhere around 2 times heavier than shovel. But red sign is relatively light and weight only 2 lb (21lb instead of 19lb). It's actually perfectly viable replacement.
      3) Equipment (Zap guns). First off, it's not completely useless in solo play, as you can still create a small opening to run. Also the time of the zapgun stun depends on how well you wield it. You need to keep it's beam straight to extend time and it can go pretty high on time.
      4) Equipment (Radar Booster). It is fair that it's a rarity to find someone who really cares to optimize ship duty job, like, come on, who wants to sit beside pc only to play a game where you sit beside a pc. But radar booster in some cases is a god an op item that can instalock some entities as long as the guy no the ship ctrl + v flash command constantly. From my experience this can permalock forest keepers (either because of stun duration or because after being stunned they continue to stand still for some time) and coil heads, essentially allowing you to replace that one person in the facility to constantly watch for them due to their stun multiplier of 3. Haven't checked myself but it should work like this. Second highly valuable property is to check whether some entity is roaming the exit, should your teammates placed it there beforehand. Thumpers and slimes really enjoy doing this stuff. There is also "hello" message that probably attracts dogs and stuff but that will most likely result in leaving radar booster behind as it will be swarmed by the dogs so whatever.
      5) Coil Heads. They are very slow on opening the doors so that might stop them for several seconds in order to progress somewhere rapidly. Also worth telling to new players that you can lure them by swiftly loosing and regaining line of sight in order to trap them somewhere or move to more preferable position.
      Great video, a lot of unintuitive stuff is actually covered nicely and consequently.

    You forgot to mention that the boombox causes slimes to move extremely fast towards the player but stop moving next to them in a 'friendly' state (can still hurt you if you touch it but it wont try to kill you) so you can lure it into a dead end to trap it easier.

      It shouldn't be able to harm you with an active boombox but there's a error in coding. If you aggro it with a shovel and then boombox it'll be chill.
      Also it jiggles to the beat of the boombox

    He’s absolutely correct about the masked spinning in a circle one of my crewmates stupidly, put the mask on because they didn’t know what it did while my other teammates were on the other side of the facility getting ready to exit I was watching the camera at the time, and after a short while saw that the masked player was spinning. I thought it was the guy signaling that he wanted to be teleported, so like a good teammate I teleported him only to be slaughtered

      What I tell them when I want to be teleported is to stand still and pretend dead so they think I'm dead and teleport me whilst I live after hiding from the monster

      Also that incident on titan with 10 players modded was a horrible idea because I think there was 1 natural spawning masked but maybe someone put on the mask but 1 person encountered the masked man and then caused the zombie apocalypse then after only 3 of us were at the ship looking at the monitor radar we just saw a line of players spinning in circles while walking somewhere then 1 person was like let's probably leave

    Quick note regarding Rend, along the way to the facility (about halfway there) you will find a small cabin to the left of the guiding rope. If you go inside, you can turn on the lights too. It's a small beacon of safety in-between the ship and the facility as giants can't get you in there.

    From what I’ve heard with the ghost girl is she won’t go into hunting mode if you don’t look back to see her when she appears

      that's probably because of the hidden paranoia meter thing, yknow regular insanity meter stuff, looking at monsters, staying in the dark, raises paranoia

      No this is wrong, she still can chase you even if you never look at her. So don't intentionally avoid looking at her, and instead check whether she is chasing you or not

      From what I’ve read she will absolutely still chase you if you don’t look at her. But there’s another hidden mechanic that every time you look at her after the second time, there’s a random chance for her to become aggressive.

    Pro tip: You don't have to sell all your scrap each quota. Just sell what you need to make the quota and buy what you want for the next moon, and keep the rest of the scrap for the next quota.

      Addendum, sell as much as you got first time to book a trip to one of the nore lucrative moons. Early quotas are easy enough that you don't need to hoard all the spare for the next one, and if you make enough you can get upgrades to the ship.

    A more subtle thing to look out for.
    If you are monitoring Masked crew member, it can do things a living player would not do.
    It can walk in a straight line while spinning. Really hard to do that with WASD and mouse.
    The spinning is also a constant speed.

      Just make sure you know who has a remote. I use one and that would be a lot harder to tell.

    28:23 I guess now the Eyeles Dogs can hear the walkie-talkie. My friend died with his walkie-talkie turned on. I noticed on the map that when I started talking, one Eyeless Dog approached his body. We started using this as a strategy to lure them.

      did it notice during an incoming transmission, or do you think it was the noise that plays after messages finish that alerted it? i heard that they can't hear incoming transmissions (the same way that players without walkies can't hear them), but i've never seen it clarified whether or not the transmission end beep is audible to them. my guess is that it is, since other players can also hear it

      There's two things that might have caused this.
      1. Your friend just made some sort of sound, minute or not.
      2. As I've experienced before, dogs don't care if you're stealthy - if you so much as graze a millimeter of their hitbox, they'll rush at you and instantly end you.
      As for when the walkie is dropped, I believe that makes it act as a sound *source,* whereas a player holding it hears the noise locally.

    I have 200 hours in Lethal, here are some things that I have seen I do not agree with, have something to add to:
    1. Lightning does not strike periodically and can strike the same object around 3 times in 5 seconds if you are unlucky
    2. Stormy is the most terrifying weather even above Eclipsed, as lightning may just strike even without carrying any metallic objects. The chance might seem small, but the 11 times I got struck without metallic objects speak for themself.
    3. Monsters inside the facility ONLY spawn from open vents. These are marked on the map as red stripes. Closed vents can't open and open vents do not necesserilly mean that a monster has spawned. Do be carefull walking by open vents though as they may spawn monsters at any time.
    4. Teleportation also kills Snare Fleas
    5. Killing spiders using railings is an option, but another way is to just find a relativly long hallway and to constantly hit the spider while walking backwards.
    6. Using boomboxes makes them go very quickly, I approximated it at about 250% speed.
    7. Coil-Heads do not insta kill and how the attack works is like this: They are very fast! When you do not look at them they will aproach you and make noise which is only hearable very close to death! When they arrive behind you, they first bring you to critical health, but that is actually not prompted to the player, unless they see the coil head before it kills them, the time between the actual kill and that critical phase is about o.2 seconds but I do not know the actual number.
    8. There are 2 different kinds of critical, bleeding and not. While bleeding, players are unable to sprint and jump. Coil-Heads bring you down to Critcal but not bleeding. (Unless previous damage has been taken)
    9. It is possible to lose Coil-Heads. Close a door between you and the Coil-Head back off and when you now turn a corner and run, the Coil-Head actually does not know your location and will start to wander
    10. Thumpers should be killed ASAP in Update 45 (Update 47 which is soon to release changes that slightly) as when a thumper sees someone it will start picking up speed until it has hit someone or got hit itself. (Yes, it has a max speed) This means, killing a Thumper shoudl be done sooner, rather than later, to prevent making your life far harder, fighting against a full speed thumper.
    11. Jesters. Jesters are annoying but here are a few things to do:
    11.1: Jester stalling. You are cornered, there is nowhere to run and you have no way of contacting your teammate. BUT you have a way of stalling the Jester. The Jester will always have 1 priotity kill during its opened phase, which it will hutn down relentlessly, until it can't pathfind to that player. If you are that player, simplay go into a location the jester cannot kill you in, wait for a bit to make it run towards your team, go out of the spot to make it come back, rinse repeat. Your team will either rescue you using a teleporter, or if you have none, you will sacrifivce yourself at the end so the Jester returns to a docile search state.
    11.2: Avoiding. After a Jester has opened for the first time, it will always be in the facility. Avoid it for as long as possible until it starts playing again, so you can maximize looting even with its presense in the facility.
    12. Eyeless dogs are easy to avoid. They have 3 phases:
    12.1: Patrol. During patrol Eyeless Dogs wander on predtermined areas on each moon, they will NEVER enter the ship in this state.
    12.2: Search. During search Eyeless Dogs WALK towards the location they heard a sound, including the ship. After some time, if they did not hear anything, they will return to patrol. This mode can be used for baiting dogs out of the way to make your way back to the ship easier.
    12.3: Attack. In attack a dog will first let out a roar, indicating this phases activation, this roar atracts nearby dogs to also enter attack and run towards the sound. In attack dogs will slide accross the ground in a linear path, making attacks easy to avoid, you can rodeo the dogs like a matador or simply dodge and crouch and build up distance crouched to avoid the dog.
    12.4: Shop-Luring. Shop-Luring involves buying an item to activate the drop pot. The msuic attracts ALL dogs and will make them enter attack, running towards its location making the way back the ship easier.
    12.5: Dogfart. Do not question the name. It involves using a Whoopie Cushion to infinitly distract dogs. Simply lay a Whoopie Cushion anywhere in the patrol area, and after a dog steps over it, it will be aggressive, investigating the sound, reactivating the cushion, making it attack, reactivating the cushion etc.etc.
    WARNING!!!! This may happen in your ship, so put any Whoopie Cushions you have in the cupboard!
    12.6: Dogshredding. Killing the dogs at the ship, has its ups and downs, but generally a very effective strategy. Use a boombox or other sounds to atract dogs to the ship, close the door and have 2 people stand at the door wels in either corner at the closed door. You can hit the dogs through the door and kill them, retreat when the door is at about 15%and wait for the door to recover before repeating until dogs are dead.
    13. Forest Keepers/Giants are deaf, the horn can't attract them, so they are deaf.
    14. Never actually seperate bees and hives, as this will just lead to very terrible outcomes

      These are some really good tips, although I’ve seen coil heads spawn in front of my eyes near no vents, they kinda just pop into existence. My friends and I have used shop luring before on Titan but it was a useless venture because while the dogs were infinity agroing the giants camped us 😂

      Coilheads can spawn in vents and Stormy weather can actually be beneficial to your team.
      Lightning will strike, when it will strike is random, but it's strike position can be forced.
      Through... the power... of keys.....
      If you have more than enough keys then my big tip would be to drop a shit ton of keys at wherever the drop pod lands in your planet
      Holding the keys will likely redirect strikes to your position, so I wouldn't worry about being hit by a stray as strike patterns are more predictable and forced, though initial exit still has a decent chance as there will be almost no redirection at that time (it would be terribly unlucky).
      Once keys are in position, strikes will be much less likely to target stray areas (though still can and as such you may still die to strays), and less likely to target other metal objects (again, still can, more metal = less strays, and strays are very VERY unlikely if you're holding or are near a metallic object (similar to worm lock-on)).
      I specifically say to drop the keys at the drop pod area cuz there's a fun trick that you can use to your advantage here...
      Buy a walkie when there's dogs outside, and watch them all die to the metal infested space as they charge into bolts of lightning.
      Fun....as......fuck

      @@funkr4674on the topic of lightning keys and dogs I had this happen before but don’t know if it was just lucky or mechanical and google isn’t much help. I can’t tell if the small period when metallic objects are being charged before struck and are making that sizzling sound if that attracts dogs or not. I had an instance where it kinda looked like it but could’ve just been lucky.

      @@cu11y50 It doesnt attract dogs, it can be luck but there is Titan where items are commonly dropped from the top.
      Dropped items attract dogs so if there's a bunch of metallic items at the drop off point and dogs have spawned there's a decent chance dogs will die at the bottom as they get attracted to the sound

      You mention keys so I imagine this is not the case though, I think that was just lucky? Maybe dogs get aggressive in areas they are struck in so they will keep hanging around I don't know that much about their ai

    the ghost girl can only spawn behind you, and she begins chasing you after a complex mess of numbers involving how many times she has stared at you and how many times you've looked at her. if you have your back to a wall, she cannot spawn at all. if you get cues that she's spawned, flickering lights etc., don't turn around. obviously, a bracken or coil-heads can make this difficult

      @@Nikos. ya and it can be suprisngly good at mimicing a player with the only obvious things being that it doesnt speak and it doesnt pick stuff up like i saw in one short a guy thought a masked player was a normal player (the mask was hidden in darkness) until the masked player came out of the dark

    Just as a tip, you can easily solo the nuttycracker, after it starts scanning, hit it with the shovel from an angle where the eye is not looking and it will go into aggro phase, after that just bait the 2 shots, you can do this by walking into the nutcracker sight and retreating into a wall, and after 2 shots, it will start reloading, so you can use that time to get some hits, then just repeat and boom, dead

      You have to be quick about it, though. The commotion will likely attract other monsters to cock block your efforts, if they're not nearby and hunting you already.

    Due to mask enemies spinning in circles to try and trick you into teleporting them onto the ship, I would reckon turning back and forth 180 degrees instead of a full 360 would be more beneficial in letting your teammates know you are in danger

      or have some tact and look if they are in actual trouble with red dots harassing them. Its pretty easy to notice a mimics behaviour is different from a player

    It should be noted that the jester actively gets faster and faster the more it is active. Trying to get away by maneuvering will simply make it much harder to escape because it will eventually become too fast to ever outrun. This can be seen on Dine with the pillars where hopping back and forth will cause the Jester to chase you and speed up to "Sonic the Hedgehog" levels of speed.

    A nice thing about the jetpack is that you can use it to ferry heavy equipment like shovels and zap guns to the entrance for your team so that they can get there without being weighed down.
    Other uses involve ferrying back 1-handed loot, and distracting and out running Giants so that they don't target they rest of your team.

    missed info
    - used stun grenades can be used to detonate mines by throwing it to the mine (this can be done infinitely).
    - you can technically have max 8 shots of shotgun in your inventory, but you also need 4 fully loaded shotguns 😂
    - loud horn can be heard even in the facility, it can also attract dogs to the ship. This can be used for a team wide signal or something
    - boombox makes noise... can be used to attract dogs while your team goes back to the ship. i think it can also be used to divert who the jester is targeting. I saw a clip where jester changed target just cause the other player nearby is more noisy.
    - signal translator can be used to send a short message to every crewmate, basically a better loud horn without the noise.

    For all y’all interested in making your experience far scarier, there is a mimic/skinwalker mod, and it is GENIUS. It will take audio from your microphone (automatically detecting speech instead of background noise) and use AI to make you say things, even if you never said the phrase yourself. They do not need to be close to pick up on your audio (AKA they ignore proximity chat), they do try to manipulate you, and they do try to kill you.
    The mimics really only work on multiplayer (otherwise it’s obvious that your own voice saying things you never said is not you). But if you’re ever separated from your friends, you might just hear one of them say “Hey, come over here!” only to be greeted by a mimic down the hall. They will say things like “I think I got it to work”, which is to trick players into thinking their dead friend somehow found a way to revive themselves. They can try manipulating you through directions by saying “Hey, turn left here!” at intersections. I am also fairly certain they can pick up on names and associate them with certain players after enough conversation has occurred between the actual crew, and eventually pick up on personalities as well, but both of these require a lot of time spent on a moon (and I might be completely wrong). I do know they have a lot of scripted things to say, but I think they can make stuff up as well.
    And people outside aren’t safe too. Crew who stay at the ship can occasionally hear a mimic say “I’m heading back now” or whatever, mimicking another crew’s voice, and if you have the mod turned on then this crew member should double check the monitors or risk letting the mimic into the ship.
    Finally, be aware of your friends themselves! Not because they are actually dangerous, but one of my buds (jk it was me) likes to wander off to “go collect loot”, go silent, and start stalking the other crew to fuck with them, saying things in a robotic voice. It turns into a “boy who cried wolf” situation because then they encounter a real mimic and think “Dude, c’mon, cut it out and fuck off!” and then die XD

    Here's some more tips from personal expirience!
    There's only 2 reasons to leave the moon before midnight. 1st is that only one player is left and ur leaving to avoid team wipe. 2nd is that the captain (person staying at the ship) has dog trouble and assumes its safer to leave than to risk a team wipe.
    If 2 or more ppl are still alive, you go in the facility and leave one person at the ship. There's pretty much no benefit to more than one person being alive when the ship leaves, but you have a chance to get more scrap. Even if its 11 pm its better to rush in and die cuz of that 1% chance of getting an extra item than to leave. Ur life is worthless, give it up for the company!
    Our strategy is to split up across the fire exits, get as much loot as we can find quickly and bring it to the ship by 4 pm (thats roughly when monsters start spawning) then one person stays behind and the rest go in again for some extra loot. As soon as you find something bring it back to the ship. Rinse and repeat till ur dead or its midnight.
    I still got killed on a spider on a railing, so its not 100% safe on the railings
    Also for assurancs, I've gotten baboon hawks there several times, but not a single forest keeper, so that's that
    For titan, forest keepers can also go up the stairs. There's also a trick where with an extension ladder you can drop items into the ship which makes it pretty much the most efficient moon cuz of the high loot.
    Hording bugs do not attack u when u hang around too long. They work a bit differently. They have a spot where they bring the loot and hord it. If u get too close to the spot or take any items from there they will attack u. You can recognize the spot easily, cuz if u star aproaching them there they will look at u with hands in the air like "oi bruv don't come here." The spot exists even if there isn't any loot. If u get close to the bug when it's roaming and isn't in the spot it won't do anything to you so dw. I also think they will sometimes attack u if u take items in front of them and not only from the spot, but I am not too sure about that.
    You can also smack a flee of urself if u find ur shovel, same as the shotgun.
    On the facility maps (not mansion), you can trap the jester and coilheads into a dead end with a remote door. Its pretty difficult and requires a lot of coordination, but it's worth it for a jester 100%.
    Forest keepers are absolutely demolished by stun granades. It's the best item in the game against them imo. Also if a forest keeper is guarding the ship and u wanna get them away, you can have one player run out, get the attention of the forest giant, get them away and then have someone else teleport them back. The forest keeper can still keep agro onto the person after the teleport and run back to the ship so this isn't guaranteed. What you can do is take a stun granade with you and stun the keeper before you teleport so it looses agro. If you don't have a stun granade at hand, you can also try to time it precisely to teleport as the person gets eaten, but thats risky af.
    If u gotta get back for loot and a forest keepwr is blocking ur way, teleporter is ur best friend. Have one person ready to get you out and try to rush in to get ur item. If the forest keeper gwts u, u get teleported and you can try again.
    Baboon hawks can steal ur items like hording bugs. Its extremely rare, but one picked up an apparatus that I had to drop cuz of a forest keeper and dragged it across the map. They don't seem to mind if u take the items back tho.
    As far as I know you can loop the ghost girl and it will disapear for a while. But she will come again.

    Also a neat trick you can do during Stormy to make hauling items back to ship is to abuse the viewmodel. Lightning will strike at the spark of your viewmodel, which is different for each item (example, the spark will happen on the key itself, and on the shovel its near the center). If unarmed, the game will place it akin to your last carried item.
    You can clip the spark through a tall object (like a wall, and even a tree works), and make the lightning strike the top of the object. So say you're holding a key and its about to be zapped. As the spark for the key is directly on top of it, you basically hold the key's viewmodel inside the tall object. If done correctly, the lightning will strike the top of the object, and you won't die.
    This isn't only convenient and faster, but its also extremely useful when dealing with Forest Keepers, as you're not forced to leave cover.

    6:55 Slight correction, the Dine fire exit is easiest with the use of an extension ladder, however, it can be done consistently without one. The jump is tight, and you need a bit of stamina but I've learned the placement and timing well enough to get it consistent, so if you need to penny-pinch and you want to go to the Dine fire exit, don't waste your $60 and look up a video on how to do it.

    Fun fact: the laser pointer will work to distract forest keepers. I stood on top of the ship and shined it in front of one, and it walked towards where the dot was. Eventually though it noticed where the dot came from, or it turned to me out of pure coincidence. This is why I insist on keeping laser pointers.

      correction, I am stupid and assumed that because /trigger was accepted as a command that it detonated the mine, in reality any text is accepted, even just strait up keyboard spam, just as long as you put the mine id at the end it will accept it as a temporary shutdown😓

    Radar booster is absolutely goated when it comes to avoiding giants, have a teammate holding it and flash when they get grabbed. they're completely invulnerable to them (unless you fatfinger like 3 times in a row).
    Also be careful about spinning as a signal for teleporting, the masked can spin as well (though its pretty easy to tell). It just opens up room for mistakes. Alternatively, you could keep that and laugh at your terminal guy as they doom themselves

      Yeah they like to spin and wander around aimlessly when they aren't chasing or luring someone, which makes the spinning signal too risky unless the ship guy is really paying attention and/or you have walkies. Walkie talkies are cheap and can make a run in a lot of ways. Knowing where mobs are while inside, finding each other inside the bunker, knowing if there are mobs outside the ship, camping a door, static tells you if someone died, you can buy one to lure dogs if there are a lot outside, they are so worth the $12. A lot of the most dangerous mobs are much easier to deal with when you can communicate easily with your team. Jesters, Giants (at least avoiding them when ship or door camping), dogs, coilheads, and bracken are less of a threat when you know they are present, and much less so if you know where they are so long as you aren't being physically blocked by the mob. Radar Booster's recent buffs can buy you previous time against some of the deadliest mobs. Giants, coilheads, and jesters all get stunned for a few seconds, and jesters get their acceleration reset, which can stunlock them like the Giant when done with good timing

    We usually start off with everyone going in the facility (Usually starting on experimentation), as a game over is highly unlikely. After first payout we start buying items (usually teleporter is the first thing we buy.) and we let one person stay behind. That person is responsible to assist and teleport back bodies and crew members. And just leave if all the others are dead.

Golden Planet can be found outside the fire exit of rend occasionally, and Goodbye can be found on top of the structure for the fire exit on March (the fire exit to the left of the ship)

    I think you’re short-selling the radar booster quite a bit. It’s actually one of the few items that can _immensely_ slow down (and reset the speed of) the _Jester_ (both while winding up AND when it pops) enough to save a run, among others like the Snare Fleas, Forest Giant, and _especially_ the Coil-Head (stunning them for 5 seconds, which can even allow a solo player/last survivor get out in time); among other enemies. If a member of your party has it, it’s practically a godsend on Moons like Titan and March.

Oh an the forest keeper has the intelligence of a baby and puts anything in its mouth that it finds interesting, so congrats your interesting to him 😂 also the nutcracker CAN in fact kill other monsters like the bracken or thumper or whatever and a second name for them is I think “the guardian of the house” ohhhhhh loreeeee

    its probably been said, but the zap gun doesnt cut out at random. it is basically a fishing minigame where you have to keep the beam as centered to your screen as possible by moving your mouse left or right. if done right it is possible to keep something zapped for the full 60 second battery duration

    Me and my friends did a modded run where Masked could spawn outdoors and would record/playback stuff we said into the mic. Nothing quite like hearing your friends approaching the ship and having to interrogate them at gunpoint before they can come closer, especially when night is approaching and there are dogs about.

    Tip I have for a forest giants is to have a teammate hold the radar booster and flash it it can save your teammates after they have been picked up and the flash is super effective against them it’s a must have for me and my friends when we play on any moon that has the forest giants

    Didn't know railing cheese still worked against bunker spiders.
    A note on the signs, the stop sign is only 2lb heavier than a shovel as of v45 (will be 13lb heavier as of v47, where the shovel weighs 8lb). Yield signs should only be picked up if you don't already have a weapon, or if you have a free inventory slot.
    A note on the teleporters, you can stack them in the ship, and with some good timing, you can make the inverse teleporter activate right after the normal one. Do what you will with that information.
    A note on land mines, they are bugged as of v45 to detonate instantly when you touch them. Also, they have their applications as both equipment, and effective methods of generating the resource known as _laughter._
    A note on Coil-Head's, they deal 90 damage at a rate of 5 attacks per second.
    A note on the ghost girl, it's hide and seek. Don't look at her, and she becomes about as threatening as a hoarding bug. You look at her twice or more, that's where the problems start. Additionally, she cannot spawn within your line of site, and will despawn after a set distance or entering/leaving the complex, so fleeing from her and facing your back toward a wall is the best way to avoid her.

    I have been thinking of a strategy for coil heads and jesters for the bunker maps, if you have a guy in the ship watching cams and find a security door that leads to a dead end, you could potentially lock coil heads and jesters inside and make looting much safer, though luring a jester into one of these dead ends can be difficult if it decides to pop while not in the room and bunker dead ends being pretty rare from what I have seen. Its a lot of effort and might be time waste for more things to spawn, its more of a if you can do if go for it strategy.

    Notes
    - The Eyeless Dogs are the only monster coded with the ability to hear (except _maybe_ slimes and Bunker Spiders, not sure)
    - You can block Eyeless Dogs from entering the ship with furniture, but if the noise they are attracted too is coming inside the ship, they can phase through the furniture
    - Baboon Hawks arent actually affected by loud noises, they will retreat if you look at them and not screams
    - The Masks will increase in value the more you wear it, so you should wear it a couple of times but make sure you dont get possessed. Dont do this with the tragedy mask though, because it possesses you fast
    - Masks dont actually respawn, thats a myth.
    - Ghost Girls will flicker the lights, and every player can see this. And if you are being targeted, dont turn around when you hear her and you can avoid being haunted. And she can only spawn behind you if there is a place you can see behind you, so if you back is against a wall, she wont spawn

    notes about nutcracker: it cannot kick you when reloading or shooting, so use that as your window to kill, they are best killed solo as you will often hit other players if they are also using shovels

    For the girl: if she targets you you can only have 2 looks at her (her appearing anywhere on your screen counts as a look), as subsequent looks will have a chance of her going directly into hunting mode. She can only appear off screen so if you don’t turn your screen you will never see her again. There needs to be sufficient space behind you for her to spawn so staring at the exit of the ship whilst inside one will keep you safe from her.

    you can walk to the fire exit on offense without needing a ladder, its just a very long walk that goes around the entire map basically. its helpful if you miss the jump from the ship and the main entreance is dead ends only and u still have alot of time left

    With the bee hives, to be safe i also hold them until the autosave is complet. I had two of them vanish after dropping them in the ship during take off, now im paranoid lol

      you have to wait until the game detected it at the bottom right. an easy way to do that is by dropping it and picking it up until it gives the popup

    I would recommend a different signal than spinning, as masks can often do the same and trick you.
    Other tips that were incorrectly mentioned or weren't mentioned: You do not need a ladder to get into the Dine Fire exit, hug the wall, jump and hold sprint and strafe left while mashing the space bar and you'll get up just fine.
    Bracken is easily killable in a group if someone uses a zap gun on it and the others smack it, however you might want to just lock it in a room with the hydraulic doors since there can only be 1 at a time.
    Hugging a wall and staring towards the open area behind you while the ghost girl is hunting can prevent her from spawning, so best to have the hunted be ship / monitor person.

    You could use the spray paint on foggy moons by creating markings every so often. That way it’s easier to keep track of your positions and the direction back to the ship.

    Tip/correction for Bracken/Flower Man, they do not charge you if you stare at them whilst retreating they will only do this if you stare at them when they are in "stare down mode" in other words when they randomly stop and stare at you whilst retreating. Although keep in mind that a bracken can and will aggro onto you at some point even if you dont stare at it as each time you send it into retreat it gets progressively more and more angry thus increasing its chance to aggro until it does then chasing you until either A it kills you or B runs out of anger. This then refreshes its anger meter and the cycle starts all over again, on another note Brackens are also killable and in a clutch you can beat them to death with a shovel by running in a circle backwards or shooting them with the shotgun of which is an instant kill.

    for stormy weather, pretty much anything can be struck. i died because i assumed that a whoopie cushion would be safe to carry, but apparently they are not.

    12:13 still keep the safety on the with the shotgun until you plan to fire and when it’s off it can go off without anyone pulling the trigger
