Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Today is my husbands 61st bday-this is his all time favorite song as he is a sailor and a fisherman. The southern cross is a star constellation and “music” is the name of the boat in the song. “We never failed to fail it was the easiest thing to do” is his motto when he fails-and gets back up. Anyway-unbelievable timing as I’m making his bday dinner. We live near Chicago and the Great Lakes-but one day id like to see the southern hemisphere from a boat.
Happy birthday to your husband 🎂
happy birthday dude. . .

I saw it from the Amazon last summer! It was amazing! I played this song while we looked at it in awe!
CSN music is for the soul ❤️🔥
“Try “Woodstock” or
“Marrakesh Express” 🔥
The Southern Cross is a star constellation in the southern hemisphere.
I’ve loved this song since it was introduced. Probably always will.
I am a childhood fan of CSN back when they were at the top of their post Woodstock fame and before (Buffalo Springfield, the Bryds, and the Hollies). This is one of my most favorite songs from these musical geniuses.
Steve Stills on lead vocals and he plays just about every instrument as well. CSN were just hugely talented and IMHO when Neil Young joined them they created a timeless masterpiece - "Deja Vu". Enjoy your voyage of musical discovery, you have a lot more great stuff to enjoy from the last century.
Next try CSN’s “Wooden Ships”. You’ll love it.
A great one and cover of that Jefferson Airplane tune.
My favorite "Very early" CSN track is "Marrakesh Express." That's fun one.
Just a great group...the harmonies. The song Ohio is a powerful song about the National Guard shooting at peaceful war protesters on Kent State campus grounds. Heavy stuff, peace.
Hey, what's up Armando 😁 So many more to go with these guys!
Jimmy Buffett played this song at just about every concert he ever did after the 1980's. Stephen Stills even joined him onstage at a show in 2015 to perform this song
You can always tell one of they’re songs, always sounds so well crafted and pure pleasure to listen to
Definitely a song you never want to end.
Such a beautiful song...great reaction💖
These guys don't miss! 😆
Dude, sorry, I put the blow kiss emoji, I just realized lol. I put it on 2 comments! ...embarrassing 😅
@@ShawnSalvadori No worries! I didn't even notice (and I'm sure we've all done things like that)😊
His boat is named Music. Most of the first verse is sailing jargon. On his sailing journey he is unlocking the meaning of getting away and finding all as one discovery. He is looking for someone like the girl he had,and he is sure she is out there somewhere.
Great reaction video...all time Great Sailing Song is All Along the Lee Shore, don't miss it!
Ooh! This is such a favorite! ❤️🎶
One of my Mt. Rushmore bands of harmonizing and don't sleep on solo stuff from all of them!
David Crosby had a legendary 59-foot Alden Schooner named MAYAN. He and his bandmates sailed all over the world. He has a
love for sailing and the sea.
The sound is as entrancing as the story.
When they harmonize it sounds beautiful and powerful. Wonderful to listen to.
Dude? Want smooth? The studio version of "The Lee Shore" fills the bill. Truly.
There’s so much CSN to listen to; Wooden Ships, Helplessly Hoping, etc, etc.
Before CSNY, Stephen Stills and Neil Young were in a band called Buffalo Springfield. Check out their song "For What It's Worth".
Stephen Stills wrote this song and sings it beautifully. He was/is a sailor for a lot of years and the Southern Cross is a constellation that is seen in the Southern Hemisphere that sailors use to navigate their ships. I love this beautiful song. I have seen this group and Stephen solo many times and they are great. I saw Stephen doing a solo tour once in a very small venue (Women's Gym at Cal State, Northridge). His set was just a spiral staircase with a chair/stool at the bottom. On each of the stairs there was a guitar on each side and during the performance, Stephen played each of them explaining that he preferred to play his songs on the guitar he used to write them. Stephen is an incredible blues guitar player when he goes in that direction, he mesmerizes me when he does. Thank you for your reaction.
The Southern Cross is on Brazil's flag and Austrália too, I believe!
It was important to sailors way back when!😮
I love their music. I love to sing along.
I think anybody who has lost a love and came to terms with it, can feel this song.
.
On the writing of songs about music: That's what the song "Cecelia" by Simon and Garfunkel is based on -- Paul feeling his muse is not being faithful, and is letting him down -- he's finding it hard to write songs. (St. Cecelia is the patron saint of music.)
Give "Carry On" a listen.❤
One of my top 5 fav songs ever. Great feel-good vibe always.
Great comeback tune for CSN. Most of their work was just the trio as Neil had so much to offer as a one of a kind solo genius artist. You might want to check out a CSN tune called Cathedral. Very fine vocals!
you just had a good dose of Stephen Stills
One of Stills' best songs. And it was my mother's favorite CS&N song. (We had CS&N in common. That was a good thing.) You should also check out the live version. Amazing.
The southern cross is a constellation seen in the skies of the southern hemisphere
Great reaction!!! Your "oooh" at the beginning of the chorus is the correct response. 😊😊😊 "Wasted on the Way" from this album is amazing!! And "Delta" featuring David Crosby is beautiful. 🙏
Stephen Stills' sailboat WAS actually named "MUSIC"
The boat is named "Music". I saw a photo of the transom.
Also Dark Star another great song.
This was one of those songs that slipped through the cracks. I only discovered it 6-7 years ago but better late than never.
Stills-Young Band has a great album pertaining to sailing and such..a good listen..
"We never failed to fail."
Forgot to add we found each other after 30 years of marriage each to others. Somebody else can come come along!
Wishing you two a wonderful marriage for all the years to come ❤
Everyone here refers to the Southern Cross as a Star Constellation. But in this song I believe it is the Straits of Magellin at the bottom of South America referred to as the Southern Cross by sailors. Especially when Stephen sings, "If you see the Southern Cross for the first time, you understand why they came this way." If you look at a map of the southern tip of SA, you clearly see why they "came this way". Cape Horn was some of the roughest ocean anyone could ever sail and finding the shortcut(strait of Magellin)was a Godsend.
Just my take on all this. Great song for a later release of theirs.
Should have reacted to the original video version. It adds much more to the song when you can watch the meaning of it. One of the greatest songs every written and recorded in my opinion.. CSN were the bomb of harmonizing!
premise is music is his REAL LOVE; only REAL LOVE he has remaining even after losing a woman....
THIS WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE CSN GIB! 💯😊DON'T KNOW QUITE WHY BUT WHO CARES! JUST SOMETHING ABOUT IT! 😊
❤❤❤❤
U might listen a tune called Cathedral..very interesting complex..one that people forget about
This is 1 of my favorite CSN songs. Always loved Stephen Stills raspy voice too, all the way back to his day's with Buffalo Springfield.
This is standard CSN fare. Great harmonies, acoustic guitars.
CSN and CSN&Y just has great harmonies, I always feel that they were the masters of harmonies that started in the 70’s; love their music together and individually, one of the best live albums from the 70’s is “4 Way Street”
Stills had a pretty good album with Chris Hillman of the Byrds and others in Manassas.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fun fact…The Beatles turned them down for their record label Apple! They needed a unanimous vote. The rumor is John said no but as far as I know the real answer has never been made public. If you ask Paul about it he said they played many of their hits and he just laughs about it now. You can’t get every decision right! 😂😂😂
Please listen to 'Almost Cut My Hair.'
Can't can't go wrong with CSN and or Y try Woodstock, try Wooden Ships try Ohio
check out "ohio" csn&y...
They really had two good alubms and that was it. Alabama was not theirs.
No. It should not be a nine minute song.
❤❤❤❤
