      no kipping and he's the first person who actually goes back to full extension. Most videos I've seen where people do speed pull ups, they just bend their arms a little but not enough to the point where they have to reactivate the chest muscles to restart the pull up.

    I never think "skinny" is weak. Highly trained ppl and working more on endurance maybe 'skinny' but they're tough af when it comes to prolonged exposure! If you compare 'skinny' Eliud Kipchoge's body (the greatest sub-2-hour marathoner of all time yet) vs Usain Bolt's body (jacked), that's called slow-twitch muscles vs fast-twitch muscles. Both are crazy strong in their game. Hats off to you Tazio! 🎩

They're just hating because they couldn't do more than 5 pull ups or they're that deluded to think that they are better than anyone else. ***** You've also got to factor in body weight. This guy probably weighs 140 while they people you are referring to weigh 200-300. That's a FUCK-ton more weight to pull up than what this guy has to. Not taking away from what this guy did. It's still amazing, I'm just giving you an explanation.

      taylor gear thanks taylor

    • @SIIKAP1
      @SIIKAP1 9 лет назад +6

      +taylor gear It is because of that. They have more resistance to gravity (think how a squirrel can fall 30 feet and be ok, but if a human did, we'd be dead or close to it).
      Also because size doesn't always equate to optimal strength pound per pound. Example: This guy works for strength and endurance to be able to do 43 pull ups. The workouts he does and the way he eats allows him to build more strength than size. Now for the big dudes in your gym-- they work for size and strength, but primary focus on size.
      Conclusion: The dude in the video is stronger pound-per-pound and has higher endurance in relation to the pull-up movement. He most likely not as strong pound-per-pound as the big guys in exercises like bench press, squat, etc.

      +taylor gear Wow, who would of guessed that a 230lbs bodybuilder who trains for big muscles can't do as many pullups as a 100lbs guy who trains to do a lot of pullups...
      You idiots in these comments make me cringe so hard, next you'll be chewing out bodybuilders for not being as fast in the water as Olympic swimmers.
      And I'd like to see this guy do a pullup with 100lbs on his back

      Banana Earth wider grip = less distance to pull. Same reason heavy bench lifters lift with arms out wide and push chest up as much as possible - less distance under tension. He's trained specifically for these pull ups lol look at his lats alone compared to his entire body, only thing built and that's why he's the record holder

      Tazio Il Biondo
      Just watched it, I see you keep your thumbs above the bar making a C grip instead of making a O grip...is it easier that way? ... p.s. holy crap you are so close to 50! Do you have any videos or advice on how to control the swing (like faster I go less control I have)

    • @heibiondo83
      @heibiondo83  9 лет назад +1

      I prefer thumbs above the bar, but, it depend from the grip you have and diameter of the bar, however, I think with thumbs above is better because just think this:
      with four finger is easier than three, with three fingers is easier than two, with two finger is easier than one....so with five fingers it will be easier than four! :D
      To control the swing you just have to use abdominals to maintain your body as straight as possible..

      Daniel Alejandro Yela it's hard to give good advice because everyone needs different workouts depending on their physical characteristics; I think the best advice is...study! thanks Roz! well, in the last month I used just high volume of pull ups, similar to the record exercise and I did about 3/4 sets every two days (long rest I know but I need to recover strenght), first I trained with weighted pullups and all the exercises about climbing: hanging on one arm, campus board...

    Ciao Nikola! Si, capisco cosa intendi, stai menzionando la trazione con la barra che arriva a toccare lo sterno, in inglese "Sternum pull-up", se la cerchi in wikipedia in lingua inglese la troverai anche illustrata; è una delle tante varianti della trazione.
    E proprio perchè esistono molte varianti circa le trazioni, per questo record si è deciso di utilizzare il "tipo standard" che trovi anch'esso mostrato in wikipedia; (è linkato anche nella descrizione di questo video)
    Grazie della visita!
