In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and theaters across the world closing their curtains indefinitely, SiriusXM host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley created Stars in the House, a live-streamed series to support The Actors Fund and its services.
With new shows airing Tuesdays-Saturdays, Stars in the House is a combination of music, community, and education (from CBS Chief Medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook) located on the Stars In The House RUclips Channel and starsinthehouse.com

I went to see Broadway musical in 2000, watched many but Aida was the best! I bought a CD right after I watched the show, still makes me cry and gives me back time every time I listen. Great memories,thank you so much for this.
THANK YOU for this! I feel like I literally waited 20 years for this. I saw the show with this original cast about 10 times, I loved everything about it so much. Still listen to the CD, still follow Adam and Heather's careers. Best reunion show ever. Hope this amazing cast does something else soon. Ya'll were/are too good to let this be a one time reunion.

I lived in Atlanta when I worked at CNN, from 2000-2003. I actually saw Aida at the Atlanta Fox Theater. Is there a chance it was this original cast back then??

why was there never a HD version of the show? The video in this is a persons phone camera. very sad. Would have loved a DVD of the original cast. Every show should be recorded in HD with original cast.

Rodger AKA Adam Pascal was in rent the original Broadway cast in 1996. He was dang good back then and he's dang good now.

This was a dream come true!!! I wanted this as my #1 since Stars in the House debuted!! Never got to see this musical but it’s one of my fav soundtracks of all time!!! Thanks!!! The 3 main leads are amazing!!!! My #2 wish is the Dreamgirls benefit concert with Heather, Audra, and Lilith Please!!!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! This was heaven sent! Aida has always been my go-to; the ost stays on all of my playlists. Had the privilege to see the original cast on Broadway and this reunion was just life. We need that Hauge production on the WestEnd and as a full Broadway revival!! I truly hope everyone was able to come together in person the way Sherie suggested. Every family deserves to have their family reunion in person. Thank you again for this epic magic!!!

One of my favorite Broadway shows. I saw it with my chorus group from high school in 2000. I'm a big fan of the three main casts members. I wish they do a movie version
I would love it as a movie!
If they do Aida as a movie, they should call the original cast. I don't think I want to see anyone else as Aida Radames or Amneris lol. On the other hand, disney might have footage of the whole show, so if they do release it as a movie they should just take the footage from the original Broadway production. (in my opinion🤷🏾♀️)

I believe the idea first started as a movie idea, then that got abandoned and it became a stage show.
At one point, there was going to be a movie version around 2007 with Christina Aguilera attached to play Amneris and Beyoncé attached to play the titular role of Aida, but plans for that have not been followed through.
