- The was one awesome, crazy day out exploring in the Ozarks. Being local to the Ozarks means they are more than just some mountains with trails. It’s part of our backyard where we have fun exploring all year round but it can also supply us with natural resources such a wild game. This adventure starts with some good camp food and ends with collecting more food for camp, and there’s a few mud holes in between.

Great episode. I agree with your sentiments on camp kitchen We have 3 little ones, sometimes the food is not pretty but its good! Great job on the camper, looks like a great refuge for the kids on days like that.

Osage Orange is referred to as Hedge Apple up here in Iowa. The fruit as Hedge Balls. Grocery stores sell them for insect repellants. My Grandma swore they kept spiders out of the basement. I never noticed any less spiders or webs down there with or without the Hedge Balls spread around. Pretty sure it's just and old wives' tale.

Elk in Idaho had the habit of running downhill to die, we called it Elk”s revenge.
