Hello from Kentucky USA, I have been doing some line and wash studies of the sheep on the little farm across the road. Watercolor is not my strong hold but is so beneficial for studies. You do a wonderful job of teaching. Thanks for sharing. Love your accent. I am not brave enough to do videos, I use Facebook and Instagram to post and sale. I teach group classes occasionally. Are sheep are for meat so they are bred to not grow a long coat.
Hi Monica Thanks for your kind comment. Glad to hear you liked the farm landscape video. Nice to see that you teach Art , which is great. I am starting my weekly watercolour classes again next week. Looking forward to it. Good Luck.
@@JohnGifford47 I put a few paintings aside to dry, and, was pre-occupied with a most horrendous winter that dragged on,and,on,and,on. Only now ,in mid November, is shearing finished. I have kept your tutorial, and,it will not be wasted. A little time needed to recover from the shearing. Aargh!
@@JohnGifford47 Thank your for our reply John. Yes,it is a small farm, and,my greatest headache right now is finding an elusive "short" in the electric to fence! There will be a day when I can 'down" farm tools, and, relax with painting. I will certainly, let you know how it goes.
Hi John really love this one. Can you tell me what brushes you are using. They loo like they carry a lot of paint and are just the job for detailed work. Thank again Linda in Australia. Enjoying your book also.
@@JohnGifford47 Yesss that will work. Just have to work out how without putting marks on my painting as I have a series of "rises" instead of a tree line. The theory works. Thanks a bunch John
John you helped me so much today!
Thank you for your talent & generosity.

Dull, damp, and, raining. Oh! Yeah. a good day for staying indoors with paints. Aaaaw little black faced Suffolk. They are always pretty in a landscape.

Thank you for the lesson, think my sheep were a bit big.🐑🐑 fu to do though.🎨🖌
I still have problems with the perspective, and, the sheep further away from the foreground. Do you have any magical clues?

I see how it works on your painting with the tree line. Excellent!
