My channel is all about helping people to paint in watercolours. There is a wide range of videos which show how I paint landscape and seascapes in a traditional style. Videos are for all levels from complete beginners to the more advanced painters. You will learn many of the basic techniques in watercolours including tonal values, contract and creating depth.

PART 3. In this video you will see how to add fine detail to the winter snow scene painting. Demonstation of painting large fir trees as well as adding the log cabin in the foreground. You will see how to mix dark greens for the trees as well as painting detail to the cabin.

Do you use acrylic paint and how do you store them please.? Beautiful work well explained.
Thanks or your comment. As you will see this boat painting is with watercolour. I do a lot of paintings using acrylic paints, and they sell well in local galleries. People like the bright colours of acrylics. i will try and see if I can do an acrylic painting for my channel. Got a lot on just know , busy busy . Cheers

Very much a help to me in drawing boats! You helped me simplify what I thought was a complicated process; thank you. One suggestion: Music is fine as an intro, but gets in the way of your narration. Hard to listen to you and the music.

Hello from Kentucky USA, I have been doing some line and wash studies of the sheep on the little farm across the road. Watercolor is not my strong hold but is so beneficial for studies. You do a wonderful job of teaching. Thanks for sharing. Love your accent. I am not brave enough to do videos, I use Facebook and Instagram to post and sale. I teach group classes occasionally. Are sheep are for meat so they are bred to not grow a long coat.

Thank you for this lesson. I’m a seventy year old complete beginner, and watching you doing it helped a great deal, particularly with bushes. Mine usually end up as dark blobs, but I’m quite pleased with my attempt! Getting used to manipulating the brushes accurately is the thing I find hardest, and maybe I use the wrong brush sometimes. Your explanations are excellent!

Unfortunately i haven’t that skill to create perspective to draw even first lines to my project😢
Why not have a go. Just try drawing in the hills and leave out the cabin for now. Get th paints out and try some painting. Perhaps have a go on a smaller sheet of paper. Good luck
