I love the new MTG. How scratch resistant is the bezel? That is my concern with the bezel plating and polished stainless body. Will they offer a carbon or resin bezel option?
This is the best mtg I have seen I pulled the trigger a month or so ago I have owned a few this is the best version in my opinion only thing missing is the battery indicator on the dial which is a shame I do not use the app at present
Just got this and I agree and love it , got the 3000 in stainless and gold nice but I actually prefer this one , also own all the STG range except the 500 and they are also excellent watches , I have become somewhat of a g shock fan myself.
This model does not auto sync via Bluetooth for time correction four times a day, unlike the GST B1000. VERY CONFUSING, seems have to manually connect, but Casio stated the Self Check is once per day
@@shaer6 I prefer resin/rubber straps on my watches. They just feel better on my wrist. I'd look for sales on this watch before paying the $950+tax retail price. I got mine from Jared right after Christmas. They had an online discount of 20% and a 12 month interest free plan. My total was $789 with tax. I always look for interest free options when buying expensive items. I don't know if that plan is still active, but I'm sure you can shop around for something similar.
Tough when you put it like that. Your paying more for style then function at this level. If you like the design 700 dollar more, then this watch is for you. IMO get both!
Don't beat yourself up about it, I reckon you made a good choice with the mudmaster. But if you have the extra money I recommend you buy the best g-shock ever - "Casio shares". You'll thank me in years to come.
I've seen several videos on this G-shock reference and yours is the best.....great Job!!

Thanks for this first look, really appreciate it!
This one's nice, but the red version of the MTG-B2000 with the black tainted metal bracelet is really superb...
Gorgeous piece, beautifully executed! 👍
Sir, if we rotate this watch 90 degree, the led of this watch is auto on?
Thanks for a great video!! May I ask you if it is possible to move the hands out the way while the stopwatch is operating?
Thanks for the video! By the way, did you notice the clasp is pretty noisy rattling on your wrist?

Is the strap comfortable? The resin at the back of the strap looks cheap and may be uncomfortable 😳
@@80sguy27 yep it is though it is a big watch
I recently purchased this watch and the ONLY thing I would add is a battery indicator on screen, then it’d be 100% perfect…it’s become my daily.

Impressive watch and impressive review. Are you still happy with the watch after 2 years? Would you buy it again? Best wishes
Great video. I love the watch with the resin band you show in your video, can you provide the Casio part number? TIA, Rob
Not sure I missed it but what size is your wrist?
its gotta come with that extra button since its the cheapo mrg... tho. and no timezones on the face.
What are you Gs mount on? Is that copper tubing?
BRILLIANT
just gorgeous and nice review

Does it have Multiband?
Whats is your wrist size?
How do you feel about the watch 1 month on
Is it possible to adjust the watch strap?
can you buy the bracelet alone? I love the blue bezel one unfortunately it comes with plastic strap.
Good question!
I have the blue bezel version and love it!!
That the one I recently seen. Is it worth the money you recon ? .. looks amazing from what I can see and do you have the one without metal straps

@@Mad.Maxx.77 thanks for that and agree also prefer resin straps.. well looks like I have a 30th bday gift in mind 😝
@@shaer6 Enjoy!!
@@richardparker1338 Looks like the same blue to me. Be sure to buy from a seller, like Jared, who has a good return policy in case you dislike it.
This does what the white second hand on the geiz 1150 g shock.
Is the date automatically corrected with the time when connecting to a smartphone?
Yes, but if the multiband 6 works properly you will not need it.
I have the same MTG B1000 lunar rainbow edition. Amazing watch.
what version of App is that? Mine is different.
Does the second hand align to markers? In previous versions, didn’t.
I have never seen a Gshock that doesn't!
I own all the SGT range and two MTG so far this one and the 3000 and they all align absolutely perfectly ...
Beautiful watch but still over priced. I paid £300 for my new Mudmaster that has most of the features on this watch, is this watch worth another £700?
Tough when you put it like that. Your paying more for style then function at this level. If you like the design 700 dollar more, then this watch is for you. IMO get both!
The GWG-1000 Mudmaster is my favorite G-Shock, but it's just too big on my 7" wrist. :-(

@@Advic77 you think so?
@@fractalofgod6324 £700 worth of shares VS £700 worth of watch, I know which would give everlasting "satisfaction" when the 'time' is right.
It's actually over 20g lighter than a MTG-B1000D.
Your wrist size?
I gonna buy one and try to put some engrave on it by myself or pay someone better than I.
Nice Review indeed "..
I don't like the space between the lug and bracelet. Looks like a mail box opening.
500 likes mr.Joe
If they could just reduce the thickness and bring it down to 41mm ahh man it would be a masterpiece
You wouldn't be able to read anything on it.
Meh. GWG1K runs circles around the MTG. Unless you like fashion over durability.
