Bought a B1000-1A version on offerup for $250 locally in my city. I don't regret the purchase as it was still basically brand new/barely used, still had the tag, and it still had the bluetooth function. Best purchase I've ever made.
There are no other straps available for this watch. I agree that the quick release is cool, but it’s useless at this point since Casio is not making the bands available in the aftermarket.
FWIW, Casio’s website talks about this removability facilitating cleaning the watch. And with all those hard-to-reach surfaces, I’d agree. Meanwhile, the clasp system has a bit of rattle and a bit of play to it. Nothing that really impacts the experience.
Can you elaborate on what you find elegant about B1000? Because I’m looking at the B3000’s 12.1mm thickness and thinking, that’s a winner for sure, and that is more elegant for that fact. In my experience, the watch that wears lower to the wrist is the one that will feel the best throughout the day.
Something that I don't like about this model is that the minutes and hours hands don't move independently, and when you change timezones it takes a long time to set to the new timezone
i love b2000. 1. upper right button move the hands out of the way. 2. it used the g shock app. 3. its much easier to see the time 4. hex shape face. 5. cool down carbon on the back of the watch
The B3000 doesn't do everything the B1000 can... it can't move the hands out of the way.. it can't move them as fast. I would really like to know if there are any other subtle downgrades or upgrades.
in an comment to an other video in an other channel there was said, you have to push the button on the right top (Light) for 5 seconds, then the hands will move out of the way. But I don't own this watch, so I cannot confirm personally

Totally agree.

Why the MTG-B2000 is not the direct successor of the B1000?
B1000 still has the most elegant design among the G-shock series.

Have u actually tried this watch? its really easy to change timezone using this watch
Look wise I still prefer the B1000 over the B3000
Agreed. B3000 is more modern looking, but b1000 looks more traditional. Looks more like it can wear to a meeting
Thanks for the review!!
Hi there , can you please review the g shock module 5713 please.
Ive been using my mtgb1000xbd for almost 3 years. still looks new with carbon fiber bezel
very nice video.please tell me the diameter of the glass of b3000 and which is bigger.thanks
B3000’s crystal width is about 35mm
Hopefully there will be many cheap OEM leather band for B3000
This is great journalism

Nice watch.
Both made in Japan right?
Looks really nice, I love it, just too dark to read. I don't like to stare at it to be able to tell time. I would like numbers on the dial.
Thank you so much!
I never really liked the B2000. Weird departure in shape.
Actually the MTG-B1000 is much more symetrical, I leave it as an exercise for the reader to figure out why.

The difference in speed of the hands on reset/function change is very noticeable, not an improvement btw.
This series is still bulky and over weight. Would buy this one someday when they will bring down the weight under 120gm.
the resin band b3000 is 111g, if ur a resin band enjoyer you consider it
Prefer my Seiko astronaut in titanium
