I've had one of these for a few months now. Took me a while to decide if I wanted to pay that price for a Gshock but when Casio UK had a 30% off deal on the red accent one I jumped on it. It's only when you get one in hand you begin to appreciate the details, the finishing and the hand assembled aspects of the high end Casios. Normally i get bored with a watch after a couple of weeks but not this one, I love it.
Picked up a Supermoon, love it. Works at the gym all the way to dressing up. Perfect watch and already getting compliments. Now I just need an MRG luxury watch
Nice video! One question though, what is the point of the easy release for the strap when you cannot get replacement straps on Casio’s website? I was about to buy this one for the color, but it comes with rubber strap, can’t seem to find a metal replacement one…
Really wanna see what they do with the mrgb3000 because the mtgb3000 was my go to next purchase until i did some research and found out they changed the way it works. I wouldn't pay all that money for a gshock that although does have the 5 second minute hand tick, doesn't let you adjust the hour hand separately. Why would they make the mtgb1000 and mtgb2000 that way and then make the gears fused on the 3000? I just wanna know if they find it outdated to do it that way.. I am wondering how the mrgb3000 will work. Maybe they think it's a waste of time now that the gears can move so quickly. But, at the same time being able to move the minute hand and then the hour hand just seems like it would feel that much more precise at 5 second intervals.
Might as well go all-black with my watch collection - I have a Seiko ‘Speedtimer’ matte black (SBDL103), and a Luminox Navy Seal (3251.BO.CB), ergo I might as well add this Casio MT-G (albeit with the accompanying black metal bracelet rather than the strap), to make it a Black (Un)Holy Trinity! I’m just not sure (though it’s hardly any ‘deal breaker’), if they pick up satellites to adjust their times when transported into another time zone? I live in Japan now but one day I’ll be back home in Kiwi . . .
@@John117M63so true. I’ve had SEVERAL G shocks… even a gwg2040fr… My b3000 Aurora blows them all out of the water. Totally different watch… and straight mind blowing in person. Enjoy your MTG, friend! 🍻
Just started my watch journey about a year ago. Have only one right now with Victorinox INOX Titanium black dial yellow accents. Looking for the next addition. Kinda want to do the Mudmaster, but this thing is a stunner!!
I picked up the mudmaster flare red, and the b3000 Aurora… you cannot go wrong with either. The mudmaster is a big, fun watch. The MTG is a straight show stopper. eBay, you can find new with tags for significantly less, in some cases. I hope you ended up with one!
the mtg-b2000 is better in my opinion. the button to move the hand out of the way to see the date is just amazing. this one is just the b-1000 redecorate
I use the MTGS1000 - what ruins later MTG & even Mr G models - is the minute hand jump every 10 seconds. For the money it should be a smoother unnoticeable sweep, like the older MTGs.
I hear ya, good points, thanks for watching...I still can't get over the price...WOW! Check out the Rangeman or even the new GBD H2000, a lot more functions for third of the price. Cheers
I'm hooked on my GWG 1000 1A3. all these other G Shocks are over priced, and lack the ability to survive, like my Mudmaster, that is built to take anything you throw at it. You don't need your phone, a map, or a compass, just go, get there, and get back. The hand-made quality, and workmanship are second to none, and it puts a smile on my face, every time I check the weather, set a course, or arrive on time. Your watch is too pretty to go anywhere but out for dinner. No camping, hunting, or hiking for that MTG. That's where the GWG 1000 belongs.
I just bought this but regret because the strap sucks, not so secure. The quick release comes off far too easily..thieves or doing water sports it might come off and the bracelet lacks an extra clasp that the Gulfmaster or Rolex's have so the bracelet comes off too easily.

Love your videos. You tell me in ten seconds what other RUclipsrs take ten minutes to get around to

Loved your video, wonderfully shot! Helped me a lot in deciding to get this one :]
How much did you buy it ?

And it is made in Japan. Big plus point!

Beautiful watch, but why did they grey out the hands? I can't imagine that the at-a-glance legibility is helped by that unfortunate choice.
Yes..throw some paint on them hands why don't ya..I hear ya. Thanks for watching
Would you say the strap is long enough to fit over a jacket say for snowboarding? Kind of like the frogman
I think you can make work. Thanks for watching Cheers
@@TheCovertCrow I ended up buying the watch and the quality is outstanding. You can straight up tell this isn’t an ordinary g shock 😮
