Rosanne Alwen and Jenny Reindel have formed close bonds with their search-and-rescue dogs, Hunter and Sherman, working to help others who are lost or injured in the wilderness. Through endless hours of training, field work, and repetition, each human-dog team has become a well-oiled machine. And when they are called into service, the stakes are truly life-or-death. It's a remarkable story about the deep relationships we can form with our dogs, as well as about how dogs make our lives better.
