@@jesusf.2600 ? look at the tanks in Afghanistan, they had those lol. They dont put all the equitment on in most exercises as it adds weight. im surprised they even have that extra armour CAN upgrade lol.
Canada looked at the abrams but decided to go with the leopard because it fit our needs better. The US looked at buying the leopards aswell before ultimately going with an in house design

because if damaged we have to return them to the US, and that'll be a lot of wasted money. With a Leopard 2 its simple maintenance

can nack SIDE ARMOR IN BOTH CHASISVAN TURRET AS WELL AS BACKNOF TYE TURRET ADITIONAL ARMOR + CAGE ARMOR TO PROTECT AGAINST RPG-7 ATTACKS.

Jennifer Girten it cost less money. Also these tanks are Canadian modification (turret is more armored and looks way different than a regular 2a4)

That should be the American M1 Abrams not German Leopard.
