The driver told us that with full weight (incl. Turret) it is even more comfortable. We had a lot of fun.

The Challenger is getting on now but it still won the NATO tank competition this and that's before it has it's next upgrade. Survivability is also better than the Leopard. Having both going against you?..... You'd best start praying or surrendering (I'd plump for the latter) because your not going to see tomorrow otherwise

Great tank but obsolete for conflict with near peers in a conventional war due to how costly and complex it is to produce, making it incapable of sustaining attrition. Russians can lose a thousand tanks and replace them in weeks. Nato loses a thousand tanks and thats its entire operational tank force that will require decades to replace. History repeats itself, this is exactly like the German heavy tanks of WWII. The most worrying thing is the Leopard is easily the most mass produced western MBT, other designs like the Leclerc, Abrams and Challenger are even more costly and complex to mass produce in any numbers to win a war.
Ukrainian soldiers said that the Leopard is proving tremendously resilient on the battlefield and that several Russian tanks are being destroyed, according to them the Leopard A6 is proving quite important in the battle.
