Hello, hello I hope you enjoyed this video and the photography. I think this one is a great example of how I shoot so many mediocre photos to get the couple shots I'm really happy with :)) Also much love to Whitewall for making those incredible prints of my work, I love them so much! If you decide to print your work with them you can use the code "TEO10" to save 10% off your purchase (valid until 1st of October) - you can check them out here: www.whitewall.com/ Thank you for being here and have a great week!
Hi Teo! Love your videos. Your voice and the music are so relaxing. Glad I found your channel and your patreon. I'm going to Kyoto in July. Would you recommend the airbnb you stayed in? - Martin
Hi Teo, a bit of a sentimental/sappy message: I was fortunate enough to find you in the middle of your trip to Japan (or at least during your uploads of them) and it inspired me to dust off my Nikon D3100 I bought in 2012 and start taking pictures. I'm going through a very deep depression right now and am trying to recover; I found that when I'm out taking pictures, my fatigue and lack of motivation just disappear, and I just focus on getting the best shot I can. I think I've found a passion in photography, and I want to thank you, amongst others here on RUclips, for helping me find it. I'll be going back to work tomorrow for the first time in nearly a month, because now I have a goal of upgrading my gear and travelling. One day, I'd like to do the same thing as you and spend 90 days in Japan; going to Japan has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager. Thanks, Teo. Keep doing what you're doing; maybe it will help someone else like me.
I was in your position around 10 years ago. It's been a long, bumpy road, but I finally have my Japan trip booked for November! Hang in there. It get's better.
Words cannot describe how much I love your work man, I found one of your videos a few days ago and I'm already so obsessed. You give me so much motivation to get into photography
I want you to know how much I find your videos a soothing balm to my soul. Your view of the world is full of kindness, curiosity, and joy in the smallest things. I share your attitude towards adding a little positivity to the world. Your voice is tender and humorous, with a humility to downgrade your own photos, which are always fantastic in the humanities they present. I sometimes even listen to them without watching while doing dishes, just letting your ideas in photography flows into my unconscious mind. Thank you again, and keep up the great work.
Words cant dicribe how much i looove your vids man, it's like an escape from the things going around the world, it really inspires me sm to get more in to photography, keep it up
I stumbled upon one of your Japan videos and woah, im obsessed with the aesthetic and vibe of your videos, your photography has my jaw dropped, im so glad I found your channel :) Im so excited to see more🌱
Ohh wow thank you for the wonderfully kind comment🥹❤️ You‘re going to have to go through the backlog of my Japan videos hehe, because there’s only a few left and then the RUclips channel too will be returning to Austria🙌🏼✨
Reading a book and playing any of your videos at the background really help me to focus and enjoy my book! Love all of your photos and videos. Please keep them coming 😊
This truly is a wonderful and inspiring piece of work you have created as always. I am sure i am not the only one that wishes one day they will be able to travel there. This video and many others you have created have truly been relaxing. all be it with a slight bit of jealousy. But one day! Keep up the amazing work as always Teo
Hey Teo! I am a photographer in the US and lately I have been pretty stressed with work lately. This has been a huge setback while trying to work as it doesn't allow for much creativity, but I started watching your videos in the morning while editing or getting ready for the day and its helped me a lot just calm down and allow my brain to think. Your videos have really improved my work and daily life and have inspired a lot of what I have been doing the last 6 months. Thank you!
Ohh my that is so meaningful to me, thank you so much for telling me! That’s amazing!🥹 I really hope you continue to get better, wishing you all the best!❤️
absolutely *gorgeous* video. i adore the way you’ve edited it, with the timing of the shots & music being so precise, & the overall vibe of the video maintaining a warm & calm energy. super clean & relaxing, & of course, your photography is breathtaking. thank you so much for sharing. japan is stunning!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make and share this video, it is indeed very relaxing. I love that you show us the actual shots your took and explain the moments you captured instead of your gear.
hello. found this yesterday before sleep and it's a perfect type of content to relax. enjoyed it a lot. i like how you explain the frame, and composition and what's important for you in the photo! and the color correction of the video is so pleasant! thank you for such work! i'm your new follower now. thank you also for inspiring me to live this life and take the camera everywhere!
Love the mixture of photographs and short clips describing the situation and what you were doing. Then your shots are just beautiful! I don’t know if you’ve done it before, but what is it that you look for when going places? Do check the internet previously to your trips or do just go by the flow and shoot what impresses you (my guess)? Would love to hear some more thought processes even though explain your shots in general already! Great video again! 🤝
Hello from Korea! I am too a film photographer in Korea. I bumped into your channel and found your videos and photos BEAUTIFUL!! Also using many Korean songs in your videos is very surprising to me😄 Thank you for sharing your perspective through your cameras🔥🔥
Aww thank you so much!🥹🫶🏼 Haha yes, I was wondering whether some Koreans might be watching who recognise the language! I source my music from Epidemic Sound and their K-Pop library happens to have such beautiful tracks that fit these videos perfectly haha🙌🏼 I hope they don’t sing anything weird, because I can’t know since I sadly don’t understand the lyrics😅
The editing skills for making this video are unbelievable, I was asking myself what was making this video so interesting and pleasant, then I found that the film shoots changes at the music rhythm... I cannot immagine the efforts made for this entire realisation. Thanks a lot for sharing your work with us.
a brilliant series!! i'm so glad to have found your channel through this - your videos always make me feel contented and i absolutely love your narration and passion you have when sharing stories with us
Definitely a video that’s piece of art and one to calm my nerves after a tense day of work. Lovely sights and awesome angles on both the video and the photos! Would you be able to share the name of the temple at around 07:00? Would love to visit it when we go to Kyoto :)
hey!! I Love al the photos you took and the calmness in de video. I am going to Japan in October and this made me so excited!! I had a small question, the temple in Kyoto looked amazing! Do you know what the name is of that temple? And maybe know what the shopping and game place is called around 16:48 ? :)
Thank you so much for posting this video. I've been watching your videos for a long time now and this specific one helped me remember a lot of the memories my parents and I have of visiting Osaka and Kyoto back in the end of 2019. めっちゃ懐かしい!!! I'll be moving to Tokyo next week, leaving a lot of what I have behind and this series has really given me a lot of inspiration on how to compose and frame stuff there and I look forward to capturing them with my trusty AE-1. Once again, I really appreciate this entire series and hope to see more of your inspiring works in the future. Teoさん、よろしくお願いします ^u^
Amazing video as always!!! Question: what camera do you use to record your videos? Is it a dedicated camera or do you just use your iPhone? Much love!!!
These travel videos and this one specifically were shot on Iphone. Otherwise my videos are shot with a proper camera but for travelling I really want as little resistance as possible and not have to drag around a heavy camera🤷🏻♂️ Thank you!🥹🫶🏼
@@teocrawford that makes total sense! I’m going to Japan for 10 days and although photography isn’t the main reason for the trip, I’d like to make a some clips for b roll and was considering bringing a digital. After seeing your video, I think the iPhone will do just fine. Cheers!
Your shots near the dunes of tottori, really reminds me of the opening scene of the movie キュア, which i highly advice anyone who likes polar and horror movies to check out !
I now live in the region where a lot of this was shot (Chuugoku) but haven't picked up my film my camera yet. I am going to lake Biwa right near Kyoto next weekend and I am determined to finally get back into film. Got some Kodak gold, only warm filmstock I could immediately find, and I am hoping to get some good shots of Autumn colours Also I really need to get good photos of the cranes in my town. I live in a very rural place and the cranes hang out in the rice paddies, but they are quite shy What I like about the laptop photo is that the laptop 'rhymes' with the seats, it looks almost identical to the seat a few meters in front of it
Hi may I ask, is your video from the Sony gear u listed? And do you put lenses for the dreamy effect or was it an edit purely . Thank you in advance ! Love the video
Ahh while the Sony A7iii is my main video camera, I actually shot this video on my Iphone 11 and just put a lot of time in colour grading and stylising to make the footage look good and dreamy. However it would look even better with the Sony, but not with any effect lenses or such, I do a lot in post production :)
