Thundercats Zombicide Game Painted figures

I bought Thundercats - Zombicide Pack #,1 & Pack #2 of miniatures last year, and thought it would be cool to paint the one-color game figures. Of course, I bought the packs at a great game store, Millennium Games, here in Rochester, New York. They have gaming events I could join to enlist local board gamers to teach me how to play Zombicide, but it look too complicated for my taste. Back to the painting, I actually bought some pro quality figure paints, from Millennium Games, but after watching some RUclips videos, but it's sort of intimidating and expense. I like trying the down and dirty acrylic color markers route.
