Justice even catered to “tomboys” like poor little me. I remember buying an ugly neon shirt that was about being a gamer girl when I was in the fifth grade. Lowkey the greatest highlight in my life
Oh god. I had a whole god complex about not shopping at Justice. I’m not entirely sure why. I mean, the mean girls who bullied people wore Justice and I think it just permanently altered how I felt about it.
lmao holy shit the most annoying girls i knew shopped at justice so i avoided it like the plague,, my mom could only really afford childrens place anyway
I hate how tweens are being forced to grow up. I hate it. Like my friends 11 yo sister wears acrylic nails and online shops every day. And wears a full face of makeup ever day. I mean express yourself but I feel like this is not because of self expression
i remember not being allowed to wear makeup until i was 13 (outside of playing dress up anyway) and i wish parents would enforce something like that,. as much as i hated that rule it's something i'm glad i lived by now that i'm older.
it makes me sad that the tween demographic is fading and young girls are trying to grow up too fast. i feel like everyone should experience those awkward years and enjoy being a kid because being an adult is not all that it’s cracked up to be. the innocence and bliss of being a tween was so fun and justice was my favorite place to be
It kind of goes both ways where I live, here you'll nyot only see girls as young as 8 in black sportswear with skincare routines that have prices in the triple digits but you'll alsyo see girls as old as 16 or even older wearing shirts with Minnie Mouse, Disney princesses or even straight up preschool cartoon characters on them and galaxy print unicorn leggings (often they don't wear this by choice though, parents here are big on forcing their teen/young adult kids to stay inside/have nyo say in what they wear/nyot have any friends/etc).
My daughter is 7 and I still try and find vintage Justice clothes for her to wear. She is all about neon and sparkles. It heals my inner child a bit too because I was never able to afford Justice clothes
I was a justice model in 2012/2013. I’m the blonde girl on the cover at 7:37! I LOVED working for them. The most fun shoots ever. They really did make everything up so much - They did our hair, makeup, and nails EVERY SINGLE DAY. It was wild. The marketing team always made fun of the clothes. It was a fun time. I still talk to several of the other models today!
it’s great that it was fun for the models so many of the modeling for companies nowadays are just toxic so it makes me happy that justice treated its models well
I know this is completely out of left field but do you happen to know who the girl in the middle at 5:52 is? I've been wracking my brain for like 2 hours trying to figure out where I know her from (the video has been paused for that long lol)
As young boy growing up with an older sister, I would be imprisoned in these stores for hours while my sister and mom shopped there. Suffice to say, Whenever I think of the 2000’s mall aesthetic, I always remember this place.
The Justice store in a mall that I used to go to had a back section of the same store dedicated to their boys' brand "BROTHERS". Guess, you never came across a bi-store like that hahaha :)
As somebody who used to wear, and then work for Justice: it was a total blindside. Out of nowhere people kept asking us when we would be gone, and we didn't know. I got really upset that the plus sizes that were included were great, and yet they eventually cut back on their plus sizes. So many little girls would literally cry because they wouldn't be bullied for having to wear adult clothes, and then they would cry when we had something that was cute and actually fit them. (I also wore the plus size justice things, and still have pieces I wear regularly that are super cute.) It was super rewarding working there and helping girls feel their best. The clothes overtime became less maximalist. We eventually started running out of sizes quickly. We stopped being able to provide the top tier customer service due to everything going south. During summer of 2020, while nobody was able to be there, we would pack orders for hours on end, and would pump out like 400-500 a day. The worst part of it was loosing a family I had gained from working there. We still have the work group chat that we talk to each other in. We still keep in touch, and still see each other from time to time. I miss you Justice. 😪
Same pretty much! I myself have always been a plus size girl and I still have some 24 plus basketball shorts I bought from the clearance when I worked there!!
@nuez oh shut up. People buy stuff to clothe their kids. If it wasn't in a store, it's online. If you have an issue with anyone, it's with the people who would rather throw perfectly good stuff out rather than donate it or mark it down below a certain price.
@nuez donate doesn't necessarily mean thrift shops. Do go off though on someone working for a paycheck instead of doing anything about anything. Arrogance and ego at its finest.
@nuez and all you did was complain on the internet over topics you dont work to fix in your day to day life. your ego is showing, maybe work on that before making rude comments online :)
This!! I remember it was the only place for actual little girls but had plus sized clothing. As a kid I never understood why my mom suddenly stopped shopping at Walmart for me and at justice all the time
I remember there was a clothing collection called “Pretty in Punk” that I was OBSESSED WITH. I begged my mom for every set (only got one set) and I still have the arm warmers to this day. In hindsight this should’ve been a sign to my mom because I’m now a raging metalhead lol
Man, the nostalgia hit me… It’s good to hear about a business that’s still thriving and not completely reduced to garbage. Made me realize how much Claire’s is a Justice wannabe. I know the demographic is for preteen girls, but I’m a senior in high school currently using a Justice backpack and loving it.
i'm almost 20 but i'm built like a 12 year old girl so i definitely wear some justice in my adult life. neutral colors are so boring i want my neon peace sign crop tops with built-in white undershirt and zebra print leggings with the itchy sequin lace trim
As a German I didn't know about Justice, but the designs still made me super nostalgic! The food jokes and big flower designs and peace signs. We had all of those too.
My sister is 12 and is definitely awkward 😂 but instead of clothes like Justice, she gets her fashion inspo from her favorite kpop girl groups and soft, pastel, aesthetics. She dresses like a Pinterest girl while I dressed like I was a part of the shake it up cast when I was her age 😂 I was always decked out in Justice!
i vividly remember the shake it up specialty stands in target... 4 whole layers of shirt..,.,.,.,.,.,., each one $20.,.,..,.,..,..,.,.,..,,. plus a skirt layered on jeans... whoof yikes (fondly)
Lol I envy her. I love KPop and would definitely dress with some of their cuter aesthetics if I had the image for it. But I fear at 19 I would look too odd in some of those outfits
Lol the shake it up cast! Me too! I only had one shirt from Justice (a neon green and white sequin tank top thing) but I wore it out in 5th and 6th grade! With capri pants and Keds and spiky neon ball earrings! And maybe a Justin Bieber bracelet or two.
i loved justice! i was chubby growing up so sometimes their clothes didn't fit me. whenever they did, i would wear them immediately after my mom washed my clothes every week. i had two justice messenger bags for school and i used them until they completely fell apart. thanks for the nostalgia
The incredibly specific pain of being a chubby preteen (which imo is a normal shape for a kid so what gives) and learning Right Away many fashion brands simply did not want me in their clothes 🙃
@@Lucifersfursona righhhht. i remember feeling so badly about the whole thing 😭 I ended up shopping at Aeropostale before my classmates because of my size.
When I was in 4th grade I finally convinced my mom to let me get some underwear from justice instead of the multipacks she usually bought me from target. I remember wearing my emoji boyshorts to school and feeling so secretly ✨swaggy✨ it was a phenomenal experience lmao I was in grade school in the early to mid 2010s and the coolest clothes always had some combination of glitter, emojis, cupcakes, avocados, sunglasses, llamas, unicorns, rainbows, mustaches, etc. Now that I think about it a little more, why tf were so many little girls so obsessed with mustaches??? My favorite shirt had a raccoon with a pink mustache on it, and for my 9th birthday I got a giant mustache jewelry making kit 😭
mustaches really used to be iconic. like for some reason while I was at school we had a "mustache day" and people would wear fake mustaches or clothes with them on
Cool clothes in elementary/primary school are still like that today, hell I'd argue that here they're like that in secondary school too... I see rainbow emoji unicorn stuff all the time in the 12-15 girls ranges in clothes stores. (Although the Mario and Minecraft and Fortnite stuff in the boys sections are equally as unappealing to me now, so even once I do come out to my parents I'm a bit screwed.)
I had my birthday party at Justice in 5th grade (2009). it was a staple of my childhood. whenever we went to the mall I BEGGED my mom to go shopping at Justice... she even set up birthday rewards for a made up "sister" we had named Alice so that she could get money off every season. that's how often we shopped there. unfortunately justice in my mall is now an FYE.
yesss, i couldn’t really afford justice much as a kid. i think i had 2-3 shirts. all the popular girls wore it, like decked out in justice apparel. i was green with envy honestly! they always had a 40% off sale that still seemed too pricy. they had a class action lawsuit brought on because of fake sales! they’ve been humbled lol
there weren't any Justice stores in Poland, but my immigrant grandma used to send me boxes full of Justice clothes and accessories every few months. To say I loved the brand would be an understatement, and the exclusivity of it made me love and appreciate all the clothes even more. Sad to see these stores aren't exactly what they used to be anymore. Anyways, I imagine a lot of scene teens also used to shop there, I can see this fashion finding a lot of use in scene looks.
This made me sad for young girls today who don't get to be themselves and have fun with fashion. There's virtually no difference between tween and adult fashion trends. We need a tween brand revival immediately.
definitely hit hard when you talked about the fading tween culture of the early 2000s-2010s, i for one definitely miss it! i remember as a kid being super excited to enter that tween stage, being inspired by the media that i had been consuming such as disney channel original movies and the like, but my actual entrance into "tween" age was RIGHT at the time that the culture was fading, and i saw the people around me trying to follow trends of older teens and adults on social media. i never had social media as a kid so i didnt even know where the influence came from, only that i was the outlier who still acted and dressed very childish while everyone else tried to be as grownup as possible it makes me very happy that trends like y2k and kidcore, both of which im very fond of (particularly the latter), as well as other alternative fashion that tries to play into the early 2000's vibe is popping up again! it gives me a huge sense of nostalgia, and a bit of a sense of belonging as a kid who never truly grew up in the first place on another note, i just binged this entire channel in a day and i am completely hooked, keep up the cool nostalgic content and analyses, theyre so interesting!!!!
I got bullied for wearing Gymboree clothes, people always asked why I was wearing pajamas and why I dressed like a baby. My mom eventually started buying me clothes from Justice when I was in middle school and then I got bullied for wearing things that were “too neon.” School sucked :/
I understand what you’re saying I’m very sorry you had a bad school experience :( I think maybe it depends on the vibe of your school? Mine was like emo and the school band even was making screamo music lol I remember my step mom asking to go in justice and I nearly started crying because I knew people would shred me if I wore that stuff to school
My sister and I were the same age and even wore the same size for a while so we literally ONLY wore matching bff sets from Justice. Getting the same designs but with our own color scheme. I believe she was purple and I was blue or she was peace sign and I was zebra print.
I remember when the Ever After High dolls were exclusively sold at Justice. I loved looking at those and the Monster High dolls! ...And I bought some of the clothes (like the pretzel shirt at 4:00!), but I was mostly there for the dollies! ;)
Oh, were they? That's so cool! I had no idea. I'm a huge fan of Ever After High but I'm not sure if I was old enough to know about them being sold exclusively anywhere. Still I wish we had them to this day. There's a lot more dolls I would love to have.
I remember having a rock star themed b-day party at Justice and I thought I was so cool...we had those Madonna-esque fishnet fingerless gloves and the girls working there did our hair and makeup, and I think we did karaoke? Good times 😂
Justice still has an effect on aesthetics I enjoy as a whole 19 year old.. no wonder I like idol anime, obnoxious glitter, and RGB lighting. I couldn't get it often due to the prices, but you bet I wore what I did get there constantly. Honestly, if they made clothes in adult sizes, since I'm not outgrowing things and find more expensive clothes justifiable, I'd be 100% down to get some shirts since they'd work well when toned down somewhat with something more neutral stylistically, like a denim jacket. They make great pops of color to otherwise more boring outfits, especially the ones that are more just neon patterns.
Im a guy and I still have slight nostalgia for justice just because I would mess around with the angry bird plushies when I went there with my siblings
As a guy myself, same. I don't think I ever stepped foot in one (I was like 6 or 7), but whenever i hear the word "justice" its the first thing I think of. The one in my local mall opened in like 2011 or 2012 and I swear they always had some sort of sale going on
I remember the popular girlies in 6th grade wanting me to join their friend group bc I got most of my clothes from Justice. Safe to say we stopped talking once that trend fell out lmao
I wanted to be a justice girl so bad but my parents didn’t have the money, so one time my mom brought me to the mall and I was allowed to pick out a few things from the clearance rack for back to school. I got a neon blue cami, a green peace sign one, a neon green sparkly ruffly shirt, a neon blue skort, and rhinestone cargo pants. I was absolutely over the moon and wore those outfits constantly
Your videos have opened my eyes to a completely different world of nostalgia. Most nostalgia I recognize is related to boys and video games. I could never appreciate the feminine side of things until I found your channel.
I was obsessed with Justice and a majority of my closet from 3rd-5th grade was full of bright colored corny shirts. I also played softball in elementary school so my mom had gotten a bunch of those athletic shirts with SOFTBALL in bold print on the front and purple tie dye being my favorite, as well as a horse riding one with matching leggings when I rode horses for a couple years. The chokehold this store had on me, it was like TikTok but before it was created, I could go into that store and spend hours looking at the crappy things they sold at the checkout or the walls of plushies. Crazy to think how different I am over the time span of 3 years and how 13 year olds today would probably laugh at how 13 year old me dressed.
I specifically remember those “checklist” and “flowchart” type shirts that often centred around pizza or donuts or birthdays. I had a pink flowchart shirt about eating pizza. On a more unrelated note, I also remember being very aware and self-conscious about my body image at Justice. I don’t think it caused it or anything (maybe it did idk) but that’s kind of like a core memory for me lmao
12 year old me was LIVING the life with a sparkly turquoise t-shirt with a chocolate pretzel on it, a side fringe, a rhinestone hair bow, an ungodly amount of hideously patterned leggings, a Lelly Kelly makeup flip phone, and a Claire’s mechanised lipgloss set emblazoned with peace signs in rainbow rhinestones. Iconic
Then there's me, outwardly vehemently anti-girly at the age of 20 walking into my first Justice in combat boots and camo to get my hands on Ever After High dolls when they were first released there as an exclusive (it's okay guys i'm recovered, i can admit i like pink now)
Its such a shame that so many girls and women fee this way though! I really wish that being traditionally feminine was acceptable. Like I love pink and makeup and stuff like that, but it took me so long to actually admit that!! Über frustrating!!
I was a Limited Too kid like CRAZY. Actually, I eventually was too chunky to fit into Limited Too clothes but I bought a ton of accessories and also this KILLER series of books that were a core memory of my childhood.
@@fireflakesss it’s hard to explain- when I go look up “Limited Too book series” it comes up. The first four are apparently called the “Tuned In” series but I’m like 100% there’s way more than 4 of them. They’re all written by Julia DeVillers
I had 1 limited too overalls because girls in my grade (5th grade year 1999) decided to try & make me popular by giving me there old clothes they grew out of... 🤦♀️ I liked the overalls & said thank you but felt uncomfortable taking hand me downs did it because didn't feel like arguing with them since at the time it seemed like they were trying to be nice to me... 🤷♀️🤦♀️✌️
@@averyemlomg!! I thought that name sounded familiar so I looked up her bibliography and she co-wrote this series about these twin girls - the first book was called Trading Faces - that I adored as a kid! I never would have found those without this comment! I must have gotten it at Limited Too or Justice.
Man what a trip, I’m Mexican so we never had justice here, but my parents would take me with them for their business trips to USA and my mom and I LOVED justice, I thought all the clothes were cute and fun as hell and I would always look forward going to the justice in every USA mall I went, i’m 20 now, but I still own a lot of clothes from them that still fit me as well as they did when I was 11, OH I JUST REMEMBERED THAT I ACTUALLY GOT LIKE A TON OF PLUSHIES FROM THEM TOO, I have this gigantic fox plush with big sparkly eyes that I just adored from them! Good times
Justice was for popular trendy girls and kids that wanted to look like the scene kids they saw online. I remember the one i went too had a mini runway outside the change rooms and i would give my mom my little emo fashion shows.
I remember being 5 and getting a hand-me-down Justice T-Shirt from one of my 2nd cousins. it was a hunter green color and it said "camping is 'smore fun with friends!" And it had a picture of marshmallows sitting around a camp fire and tent scene. Literally loved that shirt, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I remember planning to wear it when I went horse back riding on a trip to Gatlinburg TN with my cousin. I might go dig through my old clothes and see if I can find that shirt. I wonder if it would seem as cool to me now as it did then.
when I was younger and obsessed with being hyperfeminine for whatever reason, justice was to my kid self as what hot topic is to my teen self, as the store I always hit up first in the mall. (god, my obsession with being like a popular girl back then made my fashion style horrendous) anyways now I know that hot topic sort of has a reputation for having sold out and being fake alt or whatever but I just wanna buy band tees man :p
My older sister worked at the Justice near us when I was in my preteens which is the only reason I had so much of it, and man they really don’t make rhinestone hot pink and green clothes like they used to
Justice was THE store when I was in middle school, by sixth grade it dominated my entire wardrobe and I can pinpoint most of the items in this video as ones either myself or my friends had . . . the neon tank tops and zebra prints with sequins was such a choice
This made me soooo nostalgic I was OBSESSED with justice I had so many justice clothes. I didn't have a justice room but I had a justice chair that I LOVED
dude i got bullied so much by my classmates and their moms at my middle school for wearing Justice. i really liked how colorful their clothes were and i didn’t understand why i was getting targeted for wearing them. i also had a mail catalogue subscription to justice lol! honestly although i got bullied i STILL wore my justice clothes because i would take my time putting my outfits together to try and get through each school day.
Honestly, I didn't know Justice was a thing until I started working at Walmart. Probably bc I was a bit too young for it when it first came out, but I gotta say, we sometimes get stuff in that brand that I would wear now as a 23-year-old adult since it can look kinda similar to the stuff we have out in the women's junior section. I think we recently had a sweater with a pattern of melting smiley faces that I thought was pretty cute but definitely wouldn't have fit me lol
I remember the intense push of monograms and initials. T shirts, purses, key chains, pillows, all with a single letter on them. Recently saw a justice purse, sparkly zebra print with an "M", while thrift shopping. Brings back memories.
i owned *so* much justice stuff, my god. i don’t know how my dad (a single father) tolerated the sensory overload of the store, lol. i would just beg to go every single time we were at the mall, and he’d let me get one thing (or one attached set)… i was just amassing a justice closet piece by piece. i had this banger pajama set that was a babydoll top and shorts that were white, printed with rainbow smiley faces. i kind of wish i still had it.
i miss their old clothes a lot tbh they were so fun and cute and it makes me so sad tht justice has evolved into this plain grown up modern brand that wouldn't even seem like theyre marketing towards kids if it werent for the sizing
I got in a car crash yesterday and I’m on a solid “don’t do anything” prescription from the doctor. I’m so glad I found your account! It’s a blast of nostalgia and some really interesting info! Keep it up :)
I remember my Grandmother lived near a location and every time we went to her place(keep in mind we're not that far so it was like once or twice a week) my sister would ask to go. The most ironic thing was when she finally went and brought something she only wore a single time to school
I was so obsessed with Justice solely because I had no idea what my style was and the “cool girls” at school wore it (despite the clothes, I was not one lol) A lot of the photos of the campaigns and mannequins unearthed memories of me and I realized how many of those graphic tees I had-the Justice graphic tee wearer to shitposter pipeline is real.
I LOVE the Y2k aesthetic and I miss Justice and Limited to and those pollos! This was my childhood! Nostalgia! I was almost a fashion designer because of Justice!
I love your channel for reporting on the nostalgic stuff of 2000’s early 2010’s in a not cringe poorly edited way. Idk how else to phrase this but yes compliment 💪❤️
My former local Justice had a fashion show when I was 9. I was in my “witchcraft” phase so I look back at it with great embarrassment, especially the outfit I picked
I really loved Justice. And if they sold accessories and various paraphernalia further, I would probably buy this. For example, those fluffy notebooks and diaries. God, how cool this would be. This store had its own smell, the smell of new clothes. And I'm sure there was some light perfume there. I remember these catalogs where there were girls a little older than me, and they all looked amazing. I dreamed of parties like this and clothes like this. When I was 11, I bought a tie there in the pop-punk style with a shirt like something out of a Disney glamorous movie (Hannah Montana, for example). It was cool... Of course, at 13-14 it was already too late for me to shop there, because I became interested in rock subcultures and was already entering the most difficult age.
So, my name is Justice- and I distinctly remember shopping here JUST to get shirts with my name on it. It shifted as I got older to this exact style and it really did help shape me. Forever grateful :)
My favorite shirt to wear when I was 12 was my simple teal yet glittery justice shirt…. and justice yoga pants with pink lace trim….. my gosh they were comfortable. but I only got them from clearance stores, my family was too poor for justice back then and i never actually bought anything from the justice store itself
the early 2010s were a much better time to grow up than now and i’ll stand by that. like bright colors and funky patterns were in, it was the perfect time to be a kid, now kids are forced to wear beige or wanna grow up way too fast and little girls are wearing crop tops and acrylic nails in elementary school
i miss justice, i remember how i always begged my mom to let me shop there in elementary school lol. she never let me because she thought the clothes were ugly and bought me clothes from children's place and crazy eight instead. i was so jealous of the other girls in my class for wearing justice. now im kinda sad the justices near me closed :( its also just heartbreaking to me how fast young girls are growing up now. i was stuck in an awkward phase for way too long and now they basically skip it due to social media.
I’m a grown ass 21 yo woman from Argentina. Because my father used to travel a lot to the us for work he would bring me clothes from justice (‘: this was so nostalgic to me! Thank you for making this video ❤️
i went into justice once as a wee girl. i was chunky and had developed boobs in 4th grade so i could NOT find anything that fit me. The employee that was helping us was so sad :(
I was lucky to find things that fit me there, but I still loved it lmao. I was buying women's clothes by 5th grade, so I mainly got toys at Justice instead of clothes. I'm surprised that my sequin basketball shirt still fits me as a near-adult.
Even though I was a tomboy; I loved the HECK out of Justice products. I didn't get the clothes, but I did have some of the accessories, rip the accessories to my little niece. She also liked them and I grew out of them 😭
I literally loved this store sooo much when I was younger😭😭😭literally so much of my time when I was younger. All the atrocious bright pink skirts paired with the matching hideous teal leggings ohhh lord 😭😭I don’t miss them but I’m nostalgic
I'm too old to have ever shopped at Justice. In 2009, I was 24 years old. Lol However, having said that, I can still relate when she talks about finding out that Justice is being sold through Walmart. A couple of years ago, a Claire's opened up in one of my local Walmarts. I couldn't believe it. I never went in because Claire's was to us '90's tweens what she's describing Justice was to the late 2,000's tweens. It was an experience. Claire's was always located in a mall. And going there you were just overwhelmed with all the cool, trendy, cutesy stuff. It was a treat to go and buy some cool things, usually some jewelry or lip gloss, etc. The whole ambience was a vibe unto itself. I can't imagine it ever having even close to the same effect being located in the front of Walmart, alongside nail salons and hair salons and a fast food place. Maybe it was one of those situations where you just had to be there and be the right age for it to cast it's spell on you. But every girl growing up in the '90's loved Claire's. It was just a given. Lol
Oh /man/ was I living that “Justice-core” life. My entire wardrobe was from there, plus my socks, shoes, backpack, duffel bag, lunchbox, nail polish, hair accessories, jewelry, journals, my first training bras and sports bras, a Snuggie… and, of course, the moon chair (I had the white one with blue, purple, and pink polka dots). Everything I touched ended up with glitter on it. Justice was my LIFE until I hit my fandom phase in middle school, and even then I still wore my less flashy Justice clothes and jewelry until I grew out of them or they fell apart. I remember my favorite necklace was this purple cotton choker with a magnet on it where you could switch out different bottle cap pendants with little graphics or sayings on them. I felt like the coolest kid on the planet in that thing.
I’m 22 now and I’m from Russia. Even we had this shop and it brings me the best memories from my 12-13’s) I had a pair of cool rainbow sneakers, pyjama set and a very nice hat from Justice. They are still in my heart. Oh and I had a rainbow shoper with peace sing on it that I used to carry my books to my first English classes. I loved these classes because I was able to show off with my bag))))
Speaking as a younger brother who got dragged to Justice by my sister here- man does this place make me nostalgic. Back when the Webkinz craze was huge, our mom used to let us each pick out plush to take home, as well as TONS of candy. Kids today have no idea what they're missing. I may have not been the target demographic, but this place absolutely ruled.
My mom could never afford anything from Limited Too and I was always SOOOO jealous of the girls who got to shop there 😭 I remember trying really hard to make my clothes and style trendy in the same way but they just didn't match up lol. I was such a lil dork but I still love that lil dork ❤️
I remember my mom saying we couldn’t afford Justice clothes so I never had any. Then my rich cousin came to visit from out of state (we were maybe 8 and 9) and her parents gave her an allowance (which was I believe $200). Our grandma took us to Justice where I watched her buy whatever she wanted and I didn’t get anything. So me and Justice got beef tbh
Wow you're cousin was so lucky girl and I'm surprised she didn't get you anything though and I remember getting a bunch of stuff from Justice every time there was sales and I got justice stuff on birthdays and Christmas so I was happy those times and I first got Justice stuff in 2011 and I got one thing that time and then I waited a few years to see if Justice will come out with even cuter stuff so in 2016 Is when I got Justice stuff on my Birthday I got around 8 t shirts and 6 pairs of leggings and 4 skirts and 4 dresses a Justice cheer bag and Justice cheer headband to go along with the Justice cheer shirt and justice cheer leggings and justice cheer hoodie and I still have most of my Justice clothes so I still wear them even though I'm 20 years old and I still have the Justice cheer bag and Justice cheer headband and I have the Justice cheer shirt and Justice cheer leggings and much more so I love Justice forever 💖
I couldn't afford Justice, mainly wore children's place clothes. Even the stuff I wore as dupes for my old school's expensive uniform were from there. But I loved the knickknacks and dolls that were in Justice. And I thought those food pun shirts were the best. I had this food pun shirt that had bananas on it and said "wanna hear a potassium joke?" "K" I think I only got it because I saw something like it at justice once. That was my favorite shirt for years.
girls had Justice while boys had those 'Will trade sister for VIDEO GAMES', "EAT. SLEEP. GAME. REPEAT" and other shirts like it, i had a few of them as a kid and even then i thought they were a little tacky. i had those one shirt though that absolutely rocked; it was a comic-book-style graphic long-sleeve shirt that was 'THE ATTACK OF THE FACE-MELTING GUITAR SOLOS'. genuinely the coolest / most badass thing a 7-year old bread could own as a shirt. side-note; it drives me crazy how nice and soft women's t-shirts are compared to mens. i somehow got an old t-shirt of my moms and it's one of my favorites because i can always clean my glasses on them, can't say the same about any of my other clothes.
When I was younger, sometimes around the age of 8-11 years old, ALL of the girls started wearing justice styled brands and accessories. I remember being so jealous of this one girl who had a pink backpack her her first initial on it (We both had the same letter, which was K) and I had constantly asked my mom for that bag. I eventually got it, and used it for like a year before moving on to my anime "phase" (It wasn't really a phase cause I still love anime, but back then I would flaunt how much I loved anime and thought I was "quirky") I swear, it was Justice and Claires that I was always so interested in around that time, but I didn't really wear the clothes, it was always just the accessories. I hated wearing pink clothes at the time, but I absolutely loved the bags and jewelry they had 😅😂🥰
This made me so nostalgic, the clothing I had from justice made me who I am today, the transition from my mom dressing me to me dressing myself, giving me a safe place to pick tween appropriate clothing (bring back tween clothing you stupid Corporate America billionaires I promise it can still sell). It makes me so sad that there isn't a safe clothing space for children anymore, they go from being dressed like toddlers to being dressed like little college students (and the worst part I've found is that the parents are the ones adult-ifying their 9-13 yr olds.) The longer I'm writing the more depressed it making me, I'll leave it here.
I never really got to shop there because we didn't have the money and I was a little bit chubby + hit puberty early. Now I am a teen and I have many pieces from justice and similar girly clothes from thrift stores. I'm at peace now 🙏
I shopped at Justice briefly for their cool arm warmers/fingerless gloves, mostly bc I was scared of the hot topic next to it 😂 I ended up walking in one day in 2011 and I’ve been a hot topic fan ever since. The mall both stores inhabit is still open but the Justice is closed at weird times whenever I visit
justice is such a bitter sweet memory to me. i wanted so much to be a justice girl but i was too big for a lot of the stuff or my parents hated the price tag. i remember getting a webkinz from there once and a backpack w/ a keychain of that monkey, they were like gold to me. I also relate to the bullies being the ones who wore it, so it’s all jumbled lol . i def tried to replicate the look, it was just peace signs shirts and zebra print i could find at walmart.

Justice even catered to “tomboys” like poor little me. I remember buying an ugly neon shirt that was about being a gamer girl when I was in the fifth grade. Lowkey the greatest highlight in my life

This made me sad for young girls today who don't get to be themselves and have fun with fashion. There's virtually no difference between tween and adult fashion trends. We need a tween brand revival immediately.
definitely hit hard when you talked about the fading tween culture of the early 2000s-2010s, i for one definitely miss it!
i remember as a kid being super excited to enter that tween stage, being inspired by the media that i had been consuming such as disney channel original movies and the like, but my actual entrance into "tween" age was RIGHT at the time that the culture was fading, and i saw the people around me trying to follow trends of older teens and adults on social media. i never had social media as a kid so i didnt even know where the influence came from, only that i was the outlier who still acted and dressed very childish while everyone else tried to be as grownup as possible
it makes me very happy that trends like y2k and kidcore, both of which im very fond of (particularly the latter), as well as other alternative fashion that tries to play into the early 2000's vibe is popping up again! it gives me a huge sense of nostalgia, and a bit of a sense of belonging as a kid who never truly grew up in the first place

Honestly, if they made clothes in adult sizes, since I'm not outgrowing things and find more expensive clothes justifiable, I'd be 100% down to get some shirts since they'd work well when toned down somewhat with something more neutral stylistically, like a denim jacket. You are really finding new ways to fit that meme into every thumb nail no matter WHAT WORLD YOU HAVE TO TEAR APART.... and I love it!
My favorite shirt to wear when I was 12 was my simple teal yet glittery justice shirt…. and justice yoga pants with pink lace trim….. my gosh they were comfortable. but I only got them from clearance stores, my family was too poor for justice back then and i never actually bought anything from the justice store itself
the early 2010s were a much better time to grow up than now and i’ll stand by that. like bright colors and funky patterns were in, it was the perfect time to be a kid, now kids are forced to wear beige or wanna grow up way too fast and little girls are wearing crop tops and acrylic nails in elementary school
since im an 06 baby im a justice girlie but i started putting on makeup as i was 11 .. even as i was 10 i wore acrylic nails
i miss justice, i remember how i always begged my mom to let me shop there in elementary school lol. she never let me because she thought the clothes were ugly and bought me clothes from children's place and crazy eight instead. i was so jealous of the other girls in my class for wearing justice. now im kinda sad the justices near me closed :( its also just heartbreaking to me how fast young girls are growing up now. i was stuck in an awkward phase for way too long and now they basically skip it due to social media.
i miss justice. i shopped there as a child and worked there as a teen and an adult, in my local mall until they closed. omg. my heart
I’m a grown ass 21 yo woman from Argentina. Because my father used to travel a lot to the us for work he would bring me clothes from justice (‘: this was so nostalgic to me! Thank you for making this video ❤️
I’m 18 and still love Justice! I love how they have clothes for everyone. I’m not shopping there right now sadly because the stores in my area closed.
i went into justice once as a wee girl. i was chunky and had developed boobs in 4th grade so i could NOT find anything that fit me.
😘💕K POP IDOLS ARE NEVER CHUNKY😘💕

I wore Justice clothes up to 8th grade and I would always get teased about it😭I just liked how colorful and sparkly everything was lol
You shouldn’t let that bother you girl because other girls are just jealous that they were forced to grow up too soon
No matter what odd topic Dream Jelly talks about, they will find a way to put the smiling computer kid in the thumbnail.
the official channel mascot and i love it.
I loved going to Justice when I was little! Unfortunately, the mall closed back in 2019, but I still have memories of it!
It’s funny how my mom would buy me Justice clothes and I wanted to wear stuff at hot topic 😂 she didn’t want me to wear anything from hot topic😭
Well because hot topic doesn’t have anything proper for kids that’s why
I distinctly remember a shirt from justice that said “I love cheese” and had sparkly pink cheese on it. Why…. I just…. I miss that shirt so much
i go to my college lectures in a justice jacket even today ;--;
I'm at peace now 🙏
Excuse me but is your profile picture my wife? Where do these people keep finding photos of him 😕
I shopped at Justice briefly for their cool arm warmers/fingerless gloves, mostly bc I was scared of the hot topic next to it 😂 I ended up walking in one day in 2011 and I’ve been a hot topic fan ever since.
I am turning 13 very soon and i love claires i dont have any makeup or skincare .I love plushies and all my friends do too !You dont have to follow every trend there exists because its your life just be yourself!
Also, I've just gotta say, I love your thumbnails. Every time I see one of your videos in my recommended it elicits such a comical response in me I just have to watch it.
