i was 12 years old wen i found out that the man i called dad wasnt my father it completely broke my heart i was told because he didnt wanna keep me but he kept my sisters for the weekend then wat hurt more was i found out my real father was a alcoholic and drug addict who cared more about his son then he did me i wondered for years if i did something wrong this song hits home with me i know now as a parent im not like him and would never be he did me a favor by staying away because the men i call fathers today have shown me wat a father is like and i think God for them every day because not alot of men will take care of kids that arnt theirs my daughter has a strong mother because of God

this song is just beautiful!...i lost my dad when i was 14 and im 15 now but its still hard especially that after he died his brothers and parents betrayed us and it feels like i lost my whole family but God has shown me miracles beyond imagination and im so grateful! Loveeee u Britt! Pls keep bringing more!
This reminds me of my grandfather. I'm lucky enough to have known him. Last year my grandfather passed away, I never got to see him much since we lived oceans apart, but every time I met him my life finally felt complete. It makes me realize how short our time on earth is. We have to strive to live for every moment, because sooner then we know it the moment will be gone. Never forget to treasure every second, anger will quickly come and go. But true love never fades.

This song reminds me of my dad..i miss him so much...he died of cancer 2 years ago wen i was 14..it still hurts but i've seen how God works..He's amazing..He changed my life by making me realise that he has so much more in store for me..and losing my dad..it was all part of His plan to make me stronger..in my faith! and now i thank Him for any hardship coz i kno if i bare thru it..He will give me so much more in return. My best friend is about to leave after being with her for 3 years, but now i know not to worry when she leaves cause i have God to be by my side and to guide me through life, but thank god i still have my dad but still i don't live with my mom. There's a difference between a father and a dad( imo), with the first meaning he just gave his sperm to give me life, while my adopted father is my dad because even though he had 9 other children (7 of which were adopted too) to love, he made sure I had enough to live and more

I love all of her songs. She sings from the heart. Its soo amazing. God is always there for you. He ALWAYS has a reason for what is happening or has happened. God loves his children. Always look to him for guidance. He knows what you are going to do before you do it. And he knew your name before you were even conceived. The Lord God is your shepard.

What a precious song. My heart goes out to all of those who have lost their Dad, I'm crying and i haven't lost mine but she does a tremendous job of communicating what it could possibly feel like. So sad.
I hesitated adding this to my playlist because it reminds me so much of my dad and my relationship. I didn't want to cry every time I heard this song. But I trust that the Lord knows exactly what is going to happen. I trust he knows exactly how he's going to work this into his plan.

This is a really beautiful song..it makes me cry every time I listen to it..I'm sorry for those of you who have had to experience the loss of their father, mother, or both of their parents..I can't imagine how painful it'd be..I personally don't have a good relationship with my father, we argue frequently, but I love him nonetheless..to grow up without my father watching over me would be so painful, empty, and unsafe to me. god bless you britt, this is a truly beautiful song..

It can at times change the way you think, which is very important. Pray, keep listening to spiritual music and always believe that things can & will change :-)

I am so happy for those of you who have lost your dads and relied on God for strength and comfort. I have been close to loosing my daddy so many times. He even moved out for some time when my parents split up. And I would walk to his house just to bring him a bag of tortillas, or juice. I thank God for saving my parents marriage, and for allowing me to spend time with my papi. He has been my hero on this earth. I am his only daughter, and he is my only dad.(with the exception of God of course)

You took care for me when I needed someone to hold me through the night and no one else would stand for my tears nightly. But even you had to stop coming to comfort me. I started crying for you instead of for mummy... but only mummy came to soothe me. Rest In Peace Daddy. Even though He doesn't always ANSWER your prayers in the way you want, He still hears you. Don't ever believe he doesn't. He created you, he loves you, and he put you here for a special purpose. How powerful would God be if He obeyed everything people asked him to do? Sometimes the reason He doesn't do what we want Him to is because He has a better plan in mind...even though it may hurt right now, you have to trust that God will eventually work it all out for good.

Where do these feelings come from? They have to come from somewhere. How do we even know about Love, if it didn't exist? There has to be a base, a root... and that is God. You will find Him in your heart... look inside. Close your eyes, and listen to Him speaking to you. Give Him a chance to show you love.

Been thinking about the same girl since 10. She became a obsession, a beautiful one. A love so innocent and true. By high school she was back in my life, but I was shy. I pursued her and it freaked her out. Then I spent 3 years in a cart pushing job grieving😭 I found God in that parking lot. And now I met her on social media, pushed her to trust me again, but I pushed too hard. She knows my heart though, knows the grace I feel for her and believe. But have to move on and I don’t know how. How can she even live with this😞? Plz God, tell me all those days of “love” and tears weren’t for nothing.
