When I went through my first break up, I felt so lost. I couldn’t understand why things ended the way that they did and I was so heartbroken. I realized that during that relationship I lost my relationship with God and after that I thought I couldn’t mend that my relationship with Him again. I acted out but I found this song and I wept so much. I began rekindling my relationship with God and am ten times stronger than the girl I was when I was with my ex. God has a plan for me and if I follow Him, I know I will do great things and change this world :)

(TW: Suicide/self harm) . . I've had two suicide attempts in the last month. I don't know how it got this far, this bad... I use to be so happy, full of life, and had so many dreams and plans. I've lost it all. My Grandma, who was my biggest cheerleader, died a day and 13 months ago... Since then I've lost it all. All my hopes, dreams... motivation to do things, to live life... This song came to my memory recently. I'm working to get help, and to build a support team of people who care about me. A few of them have asked me to call them any time of day or night if I ever hit that low again (which I have and I know it will happen again)... so far, they've all answered (I try not to call the same person each time bc it is a heavy thing to put on other people). But I'm looking into getting professional help, at a hospital... I wanna be that happy go lucky girl again, so full of hope and life, the girl that had no problems chasing her dreams and wanting for big things. I know she's still there - I just need help getting her back.

People that hold me when I need to be held, or just give me a place to sit and exist when I don't want to speak. I don't struggle with suicide anymore, although the thoughts are still there.. I'm just less likely to act on them now. As far as hopes and dreams... still waiting on those. I'm just existing day to day at the moment. I am here. I am loved. God is good, and that's enough. 💛
