I didn't know that God was real until I was 30 or 31 years old. By then I was sure God was there with me everywhere I go. God has been walking with me all this time. I wasn't aware of that before. I didn't feel like God was walking with me but now I'm sure He is.
I was 7yrs old when I was raped by my dad. I was raised a Christian but I lost my faith that day. Dad sent me to my room afterwards. I remember sitting there all alone crying and afraid. When I was 15 I shouted out in anger at the God I didn't believe in, about all the times I had been alone. God gracefully came and showed me how he had always been with me. Even that day in my room. He kept me alive. My life completely changed that day when I learned he was with me all the time
God is soo good! A little over two months ago, my best friend in theater class at our HFE coop passed away. And I've been praying to God to help me through this hard time, and every day since the day i lost her, I have felt the presence of God all around me. It's amazing! I can't wait to get up to heaven and see all the people i miss soo much!

I understand completely. My brother brought 2 awesome people to Church once, and i became great friends with them. About 3 months ago, they moved away and could never find i time to visit. This song makes me cry... I've been raised in church all my life but around 6th grafe everything started falling apart. My parents were fighting a lot, my brother was always angry, and I was starting to feel depressed.In 7th grade my parents told they were getting a divorce, and I completely lost faith.I cried all the time. In January, I heard this song and cried my head off. It reminded me that God knows what I'm going through and is always here for me, even when I don't realize it. :)

Now I've been reading the bible and my wife told me a verse or I read the verse that God said "I will be a father to the orphans and to the fatherless" so I kept thinking about it and said to myself I'm gonna ask Him to be my Dad then yesterday morning on my way to my 1st stop that's when the letter came in my mind which I totally forgot about all these years. God reminded me of the letter and that's when I cried because He is my Father and this song brings me joy and a reminder that He was with me this whole time too thank you

all my life i havent been sure about my religon, until i was 15, and got preganet, and did drugs during the preganancy, and lost the baby, then, my husband (my best friend at the time) helped me let god in :) and god helped me find the right path, even though i was lost along the way :)

i've been suicidal ever since the suicide of my sister, ten years ago.... and the night of Mother's Day, His LOVE for us was revealed and my spirit will never be the same!!! I hear about people having this strong relationship with Jesus and I feel like when I am getting better at praying daily and trying to have that relationship, something gets in the way and I feel so far away from Him. I feel like something is keeping me from Him. I don't like that feeling at all. I get so upset about it. I got saved and was baptized. But like I said, everytime I try, I get further away.

My cat, Shady, died from cancer and I know it's not quite a dad but we were so close that when she died (and I was on the other side of the city) I felt it the exact moment she died. The pain was so bad, it felt like half of me had been ripped out, and I still haven't healed all the way, yet. I don't want that to happen to anyone, and deffinetly not you!

I used to feel the same way but every time i would ask for forgiveness and repent myself it never felt right and the only reason for that was i really didn't mean it then one day i gave my heart to Jesus and that one time was the time i felt like it was right and now every time i think i feel alone something just fills me w/ hope and reminds me God's always there, and he's always been there....... and that's the thing u have to feel when your alone and, if that doesn't work just read the BIBLE!

He wants you to walk with him through the good and the bad, to trust in him and his plan. He loves everyone, including "bad" people. but truthfully theres no good and bad. You're right. Sometimes all someone needs is someone to actually listen to them. I feel that way sometimes..a lot here lately. But it seems nobody wants to listen. Or they aren't interested in what I need to just get off my chest. I actually just listened to MercyMe's song "Bring The Rain" and I started crying. I felt like that was a song I really just needed to hear. I know we all will have our trials and bad times. Some people more often than others. Same goes for you if you ever need to talk.

I feel the same way. I hear about people having this strong relationship with Jesus and I feel like when I am getting better at praying daily and trying to have that relationship, something gets in the way and I feel so far away from Him. I feel like something is keeping me from Him. I don't like that feeling at all. I get so upset about it. I got saved and was baptized. But like I said, everytime I try, I get further away.

This explains me before I was saved. It takes time to forgive the people that hurt you. But pray about it. And for the friends say NO to all temptations ( like smoking swearing drinking). Because if there even remotly asking you about that stuff they are not true friends. Pick friends that are christians. Not the people wh think their cool to do that stuff. and Love. I am a twelve year old, I have a fairly strong faith (in my opinion at least), and I hope that you can Live with Christ Jesus in heaven for eternity. I have friends who are TOTALLY against atheists, but in my (humble and probably useless/insignificant) opinion I think if we are true believers we should "love our neighbor as ourselves) and that includes people I don't even know, and we should share the love of Jesus with everyone.

I'm praying for you and your dad. I know what it's like to lose someone you love to cancer. My cat, Shady, died from cancer and I know it's not quite a dad but we were so close that when she died (and I was on the other side of the city) I felt it the exact moment she died. The pain was so bad, it felt like half of me had been ripped out, and I still haven't healed all the way, yet. I don't want that to happen to anyone, and deffinetly not you!
