What's super great is that there is NO planned colorway for it! A surprise project outcome🧶❤️👍🧸😁 Doug
Yup! No two are the same! 😊
That is so beautiful. I have been looking for an easy rug pattern and I am definitely going to make one like this. Thank you for the detailed video.
My pleasure! Enjoy!
Oh wow!! That is beautiful
Thanks!
Love this idea, and I have never seen the magic knot before, thanks 😊
I’m so glad! I love the magic knot. Especially for scrappy projects. 😊
going to make one thank you!!!!!
This has to be the most fun crotchet pattern I've ever come across! Thank you, I can't wait to try it!🥰
I’m so glad! It’s a real scrap eater! 😊
This perfect. I need a rug for in front of my washer and dryer area. I can't find the right size for a good price. I have lots and lots of yarn scraps. I make scrap granny square blankets. Can't wait to try this.. going to go through my needle stash to see if I have a gi-normis needle.. 😊
That’s great! I’ve made a couple and they WIP up so fast! 😊
STITCH is correct! That’s why you want to keep saying it. One stitch is a stitch. Two stitches is a chain. Most crocheters understand this inherently but for some reason the video-ists want to call it a chain. It’s a single crochet stitch, stitch, and a double crochet stitch, etc. Two stitches or more is a chain. Love your videos, and I subscribed!
Om goodness Julie this tutorial ,so simple and beautiful 😍. I loved the touch of the sparkle yarn. Thank you for the extra tips. Love you Julie God-bless
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Definitely a great idea. I'm going to need to organize my yarns so I can see my scrap yarns... Thanks Jules.
Yes! I’m doing “spring cleaning”! Aka making shelf space for new yarn. 😆
Nice to see this tutorial after gaining some experience crocheting. I like the random color choices ! Thx, again Julie for a fun tutorial 😀
My pleasure, Jo! 😊
Love your scrap rug. So pretty.
Thank you, Jen! 😊
Great stash buster! Thanks for sharing. I love it.
I’m so glad, Sharon!! 😊
Love this scrap recycle idea!

I LOVED making this rug! It's already in the kitchen in front of the sink! ❤️❤️❤️
I like this one... am using an extended double crochet in my currant scrappy rug, it dosen't look quite a nice :), Ill use this version for my next one THANKS
Hi Julie I've just found your channel and I've subscribed. Thank you for your explanation for the magic not 😊
Glad you’re here! Enjoy!😊
Congrats to the winner.
Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome! 😊
Wow nice idea 💕
Thanks! I love it! 😊
Hi, your channel just popped up on my recommendations. I found this helpful as I'm trying to design a mat using the wide cotton rolls for a small square kitchen floor. This stitch will bring yarn close and flat nicely. I'll use a clover 9mm hook I think. Thank-you so much. I've subscribed to your channel ❣
That’s great! I’m so glad you found it helpful. Thank you for subscribing! 😀
Thank you for showing us how to make this rug. The colors are great together ❤. Going to try to make one I don't know if my neuropathy will let my fingers do it. 🧶💛🧶💜🧶💙🧶💙
I’m so glad you like it, Vicky! Keep your stitches nice and loose. That helps. 😉❤️🐣
I too have neuropathy in my fingers but I manage to crochet slower than I use to
@@elaineduch309 I trouble hold my gauge in the yarn.
Wao that's a big hook were can I get one
Hmmm I’m wondering if I can do this with my cotton yarn to make a rug for the bathroom? 🤔 (so I can destash some of it). Your rug came out nice! Tyfswu!
I don’t see why not. It’s definitely a yarn eater! I just don’t have that much cotton. 😊
I couldn't understand size of the hook please?
Wow, impressive! I've only used 3 strands. It was supposed to be a blanket, worked side to side. I got it so wide, stopped and used as a hall runner! Hahaha
What will you use to keep it sliding when not put on carpet?
So far it hasn’t slid around much. If it does, I might try a non-slip rug pad. 😉
How much yarn you used for a giant carpet??
It really depends on the weight of the yarn and the size you want. It's hard to give an accurate answer.
Very beautiful rug I just wish that you would stay in the camera frustrating that your hands leave it and come back
There are many times you are working off camera. We can’t see what you are doing
Get ready for a lot of positive feedback from the viewers!🧶❤️😁 be Doug
I’m so glad you like it! They’re super squishy rugs and awesome scrap busters! 😊
I've been crocheting now 53 years, I'm only 58 years young. As a guy-we don't plan, or, follow instructions. We just "do it" and however it comes out, is the final product! Every project I've ever done-is a "one of a kind"!that's just part of my joy of crocheting! Doug👍🤓❤️🧶🐻🧸
@@douglasradowick508 that’s awesome, Doug! I love that!
