@@Capzielios not even memeing--these super punchy primary colors are so exciting. Sonic, Minecraft, Mario--there are several franchises that use these to great effect and I've been relying on undercoating everything with florescent for ages to try and get a matching flavor. Can't wait to add these to rotation.
Thought that people wouldn't like these?! You are mad! These were EXACTLY the kinds of colors the ProAcryl range needed! You have my utmost praise for choosing these colors.
Sure, one could do that, but that isn't possible with the likes of Ultramarine and Bismuth Yellow; those are single pigment paints. Any attempt to mix those colors will either lead to the hue/tone being incorrect or the vibrancy will be brought down. Additionally, I am speaking to how these paints add to the ProAcryl range as a whole. My biggest gripe with the ProAcryl range, after owning and playing with the range for close to a year now, is that it lacked really vibrant colors. Outside of a few cases in the range, I found myself needing vibrancy I wasn't finding within ProAcryl (thus, said need was filled by other paints from AK, Reaper, Army Painter, etc.). This set of Signature Paints very nicely compliment what already exists, making the range much more complete. Additionally, not many ranges offer pure Ultramarine or Bismuth Yellow due to their expensive nature. On top of that, I can now more easily mix a veritable rainbow to boot! Mixing colors is a valuable skill to have in this hobby, but not everyone has the time to devote to that tedious process when it could be spent painting. I am just happy to have these new paints.
Yes, these are truly the most revolutionary colours in all of the miniature painting hobby. They could never be achieved by say, mixing literally any other paint set in the world.
This is the kind of set that every paint line should have as its upgraded starter set of paints. (The regular starter being specific to a single model kit with some how to tutorial). This is a wonderful set, make sure you make friends with all the paint makers.
Paused the video in the middle and ordered. Have been looking for a set like this since I started painting a little over year ago. So many colours are too specific and highly resistant to mixing due to weird pigment combos, so this is absolutely wonderful!
I got these paints recently and they're super nice. It's always good to have a set of bright paints that allow you a lot of play to do what you want with them.
You have honestly brought out the paint set of my dreams! This is what ive always wanted in a minature paint set, its the sort of thing you can find in paint sets for artists or students in a few different mediums but its taken until now to get something in that style for acrylic miniature paints! This + black and white would be the perfect starter set for anyone getting into mini painting who isn't shy ahout learning / applying some art theory and colour mixing.
For me this set seems cool. I like vivid colours mixed with the grimy colours. It fantasy, so I feel the grimy colours add realism, whilst the vibrant colours bring it to life if used right
You just solved my colour matching drama for something I’m working on with these colours!!! If you were here i could hug you for your great choices!!! Massive thank you my little Rainbow Warrior ❤😊
Your signature set is my 1st whole set of paints I ever bought I just buy one or 2 paints but I saw your set when they revealed it on stream I knew I had to buy it
"Dear Artist: Congratulations! You have unlocked the 'Your life has officially become surreal!' award." 😀 Seriously, congrats!. And this was a really helpful demonstration video.
So cool to see someone understand that you simply can't mix bright colors, you have to start with them as a base. I use fluorescents all the time for this reason. Such a great set that will allow for any bright colors you could possibly want.
Been a while since you put out this video and paint range, but I just wanted to say thank you. I've been doing a whole bunch of retro-wave cyberpunky stuff this year and had to order my second set which is getting harder to find. Might just grab a third to be safe, because if I ever run out of any one of these I'm gonna be at a loss. Especially the dark hot pink. I've been hacking all sorts of paints to get close to that colour and it's always been a huge headache. Then here you come along solving a problem I've had for about a decade. Thanks for the awesome paint range. When it first released I was checking my hobby stores online twice a day for like three weeks waiting to get my first set. I can't understate how excited I was for these -- I've never felt excited for a paint set before. I've also never painted as much as I have this year and these paints are a big part of it. They're just so much fun.
Dark turquoise is literally the perfect shade for thousand sons and the orange red really is just awesome. Reminds me a bit of ak 3rd gen cadmium red but even more saturated. Great highlight color
This is the colors we needed! I couldn't care less for another three shades of umber and an even bolder white. A good selection of bright colors that matches each other is spot on!
Love that purple from ultramarine/dark hot pink. The green is nice too and critically important as the primary flesh tone for all the best mini's. Great shirt for the topic too.
When I saw this range I knew it was a must have. I had only bought titanium white from pro acryl at the time. This is exactly why I bought it. So happy for this video
I was so excited when I heard you were the next wave of Signature Series releases, and it did not disappoint. These colors are sooooo you and a perfect representation of your personality and painting style. Been a big fan of the Pro Acryl line, and it keeps getting better - great job, and great picks for your colors.
I'm so happy for you. I started teaching my young son how to paint with your videos on WH+. You're his favorite painter, I can't wait to get us this to keep learning with.
I'm just about to get myself the pro acryl base set, I will absolutely be adding this set to my order. Such gorgeous colors and love the mixability of them too.
I love bright colours on sci fi and fantasy minis and this set looks great. I personally prefer to avoid colour mixing as much as possible just for ease of replicating the paint scheme, but these colours look sick! Honestly you’ve been banging on about pro-acryl so much I will have to pick up a set and this seems like a good range of colours to start with.
This brilliant. I'll be coming back to this video many times. I am colour blind and buying paint ranges I struggle to know which ones to trust by their labelling and blending etc. This approach gives me more confidence that I can produce colours I can trust (if that makes sense).
Very very smart to add the bright green! Green is something you *can* mix in cmy and rby systems but it can be tricky and with how many colours use green its such a handy shortcut to have a strong saturated green as a starting point, love it!
These were the first monument hobby paints I bought and I bought them because I love these colors. Can't wait to paint with them. I'd love a tutorial on how you use them to paint one of your gobbos
Thank you for the work on the miniature series paint set and this tutorial video. Set ordered and looking forward to painting my gray plastic. Slay the Gray!
My friend at Carrero Arts is putting an order together later today. Said these look very impressive. Said those colors really pop. Thank for the share!!
Those colors are amazing. Can't wait to get my set. Even for grimdark minis, having super pigmented/saturated colors to start with is the best way to go for me! I love how versatile the set is.
Just came across this video! Omg it’s exactly what I needed! I have tons of paints already, not complaining, I have scores of triads from Reaper, starter set of paints/ink/washes from Vallejo, got a healthy base of Citadel pots and washes, boxes of Army Painter (packaged as the Star Wars Legion and D&D colours), CMY bottles of artists Golden range, and an unopened never used Scale 75 fantasy range with metallic colours as support units. So, whew, so I have been hesitant to buy into new ranges yet have seen ProAcryl get great reviews and I have wanted them. But now I can get this set, only 8 bottles (with the black and white added) and I have all the colours at my disposable! This was a great idea Louise and a service to us. You are saving us money, storage space and helping increase our paint theory knowledge and practice. You are a hero!
I hadn’t seen any of your videos before this. I probably won’t watch any again after this… but you have completely knocked this out of the park and I’m obsessed with this concept, really want the set and keep coming back and watching this. You are a genius
This is perfect timing. I've bought some old world orcs recently and I really want to start using some brighter, more saturated colours. My style isn't grimdark but out of the bright of the desk lamp I really wish my colours popped a bit more. Set bought. Thank. Thank.
I immediately purchased these after watching. Love the saturation. I mainly paint Marvel Crisis Protocol and the vibrant colors are going to look great on those skin tight costumes!
Those blues. Omg those blues. You manage to absolutely NAIL my two favourite colours in existence. I've never had much interest in attending a con but i think i might find one to attend specifically so i can thank you in person for those two colours alone. That dark hot pink is a very close third.
Probs will pick these up Sugs, I'm all about that saturation! GW paints are almost always desaturated, didn't surprise me you were having to dip into the white and black to make them up. Grats on your own Signature Series!!!
As soon as these were announced I knew I wanted a set, but this video has proven that beyond doubt! They're so bright and saturated and amazing! Well done Louise 😁
CLOWNGRON APPROVED!! This is easily my favorite signature paint set from my favorite line and I wish I’d had it for my Clowngron!! However, the clown zerkers will happily be painted with it.

A little thing I used to do (and still do in my set/prop building) when colour matching, I would paint a little on my thumb nail or my palm. The body heat will dry it much faster.
I'm really glad that more painters talk about just using basic colours and mixing them. I do get the concept of huge palletes of pre-mixed colours for mini painters, but it may be overwhelming for someone entering the hobby and seeing 10 or 20 points long list of paints they need for they first mini :-) And I love that the ultramarine is in the set!
Originally, I was only considering picking up one or two of the colors. As an Imperial Fist painter, I was drawn to the yellow., but after watching the video and seeing the true versatility, I think I'll just buy the whole set.
I always paint the tops so I can see what’s what. Now every time I look at that ultramarine I have to pick it up and exclaim out loud to no one in particular: “look at it! Look at that blue! It’s amazing!” Totally deploying these colours on my Moonstone goblins that I’be just started putting together. Can’t wait!
I got a new job with a big raise recently and as a celebration I got myself the AK Color Punch set of paints, which are great, but only contained a few bright colors. A great magenta - but still too dark! A great medium blue - but just not bright enough! These are EXACTLY what I was looking for, I've already ordered them!
I bought your series the same day it dropped. I used all the colors on my OOP harlequin metal minis. They are a true joy to use and paint with. They quickly turned into my favorite and go to paints. They where my mothers day gift. Shout out to all the "baby's nap time mom miniature painters" out there!!! :)
I just picked these up yesterday from the local store, so this video is perfectly timed. I was surprised to realize that Monument had added a Faded Ultramarine to their range before they added a regular Ultramarine.
Made the best paints even better, with proper primaries. CMY, of course. And as proof, if you look at the compliment of red in CMY, you notice it's turquoise, which actually looks nice, as complementary colors should, rather than red and green. Compliments and other color theories just work properly with the CMY color wheel. Not that I'm biased or anything. But thanks for making this set!
I would definitely watch massive swatching trying to match many many Many other classic colours just using the colors on this set... plus black and white
I paint and play age of Sigmar and I use very vibrant colors. (seraphon, nighthaunt) I am painting up some Kroxigor right now and I have been enjoying your Ultramarine and Dark Turquoise. I am very happy with the purchase and I love how you included all the colors you need to mix things, very smart. Thanks !
When I first picked up Pro-Acryl it was to enter the realm of mixing for hobby - this set improves that potential to the nth degree, now to track down a set
Genuinely such a sweet engaging person, she got me back into the hobby. genuinely will buy this set out of respect., will have to send some photos of what i have done. huzzah Rogue Hobbies
Ooooooohhff, that orange red!!! I’m not even done painting my ultimate starter set of blue blokes and terrible tyraterragrauntshsgg… something alien thingies, and yet I find myself lusting for this set of paints and some models to paint! You evil rogue!
Amazing job, I love saturated paints. Pro acryl are my go to paints. That dark hot pink is a must buy!!!!! Yellow is my fav colour so I need that. Ok I’ll just grab the set lol
Awesome!!! Congrats! I love the Dark Turquoise and Bismuth Yellow!!!! I just painted The Great Unclean One with Turquoise and Dark Turquoise for his flesh colors.
I've been mixing up the same tone of Ultramarine from this set for my.... Ultramarines. I am stoked I can get it straight out of the pot now. Awesome job
I wish your set had existed when I was playing Warmachine! That turquoise is exactly the shade I tried to mix for my Cygnar stuff. Anything metal, like a warjack, I would paint a more vivid blue, but cloth, like the gunmages' coats, I would paint in something like that turquoise. It was always such a pain for an amateur like me to mix.
You sold me on these. Thank you for the video. I actually love using only basic paint starter kits to do all my paint jobs, its fun to mix new shades of paints.
Hey Louise! I continue to laugh at every whoosh! Dude the dark hot pink is AMAZING!! All the colors are great but that one is perfect with ninjons dark magenta and the flourescant pink to make the HOTTEST pink triad!
Ordering right now. You're a good salesperson. Added on a black and white. They better be giving you a good kick back cause you're selling extra product!
Playing with colours is some of the best fun! I like the finish and love your choices, so I'll have to get these. I already have their white and it's one of (if not the) best white imo. That and white acrylic artists ink and you're mostly good for white I reckon. That Dark hot Pink is awesome!
This set feels like a paint version of all the saturation goodness from old Kodak film slides. Awesome work 👏, can't wait to get my hands on that Orange Red
oh my god... the entire cast of sonic the hedgehog in a single box. This is what it's always been about. Chaos Gods done. Chaos Emeralds are in.
I think you just sold the set better than any advertisement for me.

The chaos and seraphon community thank you for this colorful donation to the grim dark pallet
Smart move going with such a bright selection cause you can dull anything down with complimentaries, but you can't add saturation!
Monument Hobbies seem to be absolutely killing it in the market in the best possible way 👌
I stood in line at Adepticon for these and now we get a guide. Worth every minute of the wait.
Hell ye!
Easily the most useful and educational set of mini paints Ive ever seen.... Beyond impressed
Aw thanks so much 🥹

I’ll be using these for my new Seraphon collection. They dived yesterday AB’s I’ve been able to use a couple, they are stunning. STUNNING.
I just buy the box with the 6 colour, there absolutly amazing and so usefull, it's the best signature series of all the pro acryl range. good job
As soon as these were announced I knew I wanted a set, but this video has proven that beyond doubt! They're so bright and saturated and amazing! Well done Louise 😁
They are so, so colorful, they are beautiful.
Thank you 😁
The MOST exciting paint release 🙌🙌🙌
Dark Hot Pink is going to be fantastic!
CLOWNGRON APPROVED!!
This is easily my favorite signature paint set from my favorite line and I wish I’d had it for my Clowngron!! However, the clown zerkers will happily be painted with it.
Must...buy..MORE paint!!! These colors look great! I wanna make all kinds of colors!
From an old geezer who used to use tubes of Daler Rowney primary paints and inks instead of GW(except the metallics). This set of paints would've been a dream.
A little thing I used to do (and still do in my set/prop building) when colour matching, I would paint a little on my thumb nail or my palm. The body heat will dry it much faster.
Glad I grabbed these as soon as they became available. No such thing as too intense of a paint color!
Agreed 👍

Hey Louise! I continue to laugh at every whoosh! Dude the dark hot pink is AMAZING!! All the colors are great but that one is perfect with ninjons dark magenta and the flourescant pink to make the HOTTEST pink triad!
These are about to become my new favourite paints
My hubby brought the recommendations on the pro paints they are brilliant thanks
Argh, my retinas! My eyes were not ready! I've got to learn how to use paints like these, they look beautiful.
This is an awesome set of colors and i will 100% be picking it up.
This set feels like a paint version of all the saturation goodness from old Kodak film slides. Awesome work 👏, can't wait to get my hands on that Orange Red
These look amazing. I just ordered my set and can't wait to give them a try. They will be my first set of real miniature acrylic paints.
Every time your videos start, i cant help but smile. Well done louise, you're doing great!
