    I used to hit up Uwarrie every weekend when I was stationed in NC. Hit up Daniel’s every chance I got with my Rubi. Front and rear lockers make all the difference. Great vid!

    Erosion must have really taken it's toll on the area since I was there. I spent many weekends in Uwharrie from 2004 to 2008 and ran all over the place, including Daniel and Dickey Bell in a stock XJ. I would later add a locker which made life easier but wasn't really necessary. All the videos I've seen the last few years have shown almost all fairly modded vehicles doing these trails.

      Oh yea it's washed out a lot most trails u can't touch unless u have at least a 4 inch lift unless u just don't care lol

    I remember watching your videos a while back when you lived in Florida. How do you like it in North Carolina? Reside in Wilmington, NC myself my whole life and love it. What part of North Carolina did y'all move to? I'm sure you love living closer to the off-road parks. JLR 37s here. Would be awesome if I ever found time to wheel. Love your videos especially the last ones at windrock...impressive. Def gives me more confidence to hit it again. First time I went stock some of the trails ill admit was a little outside of my comfort range being used to uwharrie.

    Awesome footage. I was driving the gray turdbox yota smoking all over the place. We saw you at the little hill climb and my buddy in the XJ mentioned you make good videos

    I’d subscribe and watch more because you are kind of local, but this is a National Forest. Everyone that tries those little “hill climbs” add to trail closures. We should stay on trails a NF’s and public land and reserve the off trail antics for private lands and non state and federal lands. I’ve seen this in your previous videos. Tread lightly and promote quality 4x4 off roaming.

      yeah, you are totally right and what we are trying to learn and do, our Goal is to also clean the trails like we did yesterday, we had a group of 5 Jeeps and every time we saw any kind of garbage at the trails we were stopping and picking it up, but you are totally right, thanks

      I deal with that with the local spots around me lol all the people who “care” always bitching about trash and finding couches up there but they will leave beer cans all over and tear shit up that isn’t a trail..Even if the trail isn’t technically “legal” it’s still stupid to make it even more noticeable that people go back there and are stupid when they do lol I love going out in the woods and having some beers adventuring but don’t be dumb about it or it will be a thing of the past

      This is a off road section. It has very clear marked trails. There is no roaming or creating your own trails...

    • @ryanhampson673
      @ryanhampson673 Год назад

      The park service dedicated this whole area to off-roading. You aren’t allowed to do this in other areas of the park. They knew people were going to bring their rigs out there so they set aside a pretty good sized area for off-roading. Plus you have to buy a trail pass and that helps keep up with maintance.

    Would it be safe to walk these trails?

    • @offroadnchill
      @offroadnchill  2 года назад

      walk them? like walking/hiking for fun? no I would not advise that. If you dont want to ride passenger while someone is trying the trail, or you want to check it out prior to trying it out then for sure. But i dont advise just randomly hiking these orv trails.
