Uwharrie has two sides. Extremely dusty or zero grip mud. If you’re lucky enough to catch it on a day after it rains you get a little mud with minimal dust.
Been a few years since I've been there. Looks like the trails are a bit harder now. Once I get my JKR rebuilt I'll have to head back there for some fun.
I’m guessing it just depends on when you go. Last year some of the trails were a little more rutted out, Dickey Bell did seem more worn down, but Dutch John has some areas that were filled in.
