Great video! I feel like we should know each other. I love bikes and I saw and outboard in the corner of your workshop. Hornsby Procycles is my local store.
Great start to the trip! Brings back so many great memories of the CREB track and the Lions Den - in particular watching someone else empty water out of an engine!
Hey mate, thanks for the support on the vid. Yes I am lucky to be riding with some pretty cool dudes. A drowned bike in the middle of nowhere certainly will test a man's resolve. Hope you're well mate.
As usual great video footage not use to seeing you as a beardless commenter - awesome has the same feel as the Simpo trip the Creb track doesn't disappoint - thanks for the pre - package segment.
Fantastic viewing Craig. The way you engage the Viewer, makes me feel I'm part of the adventure (well, from the couch anyway!) 1st day, so many things happening. I'm looking forward to Part 2. Great job! 👍😁
Really enjoyed that great adventure where old mate drowned his bike is the same spot i drowned mine mine was a week old and was gutted hahah it’s a great fun track we used to do it all time up to the falls and back
Great video! I was a bit worried when the Husky went in the drink. I work on bikes and I was thinking of all of the things that could go wrong but he was very lucky. The oil change or 2 would be a must. I've only gone as far as Port Douglas a few years back on my Indian and would love to go all the way to the top on a Enduro. I do up bikes on my own YT channel so I might take one of them up there some day. Anyway good content and look forward to the next one! Cheers Rick MTR Australia
That brings back great memories of when I did it a couple of years ago on a 790 Adventure R. Such a great track to ride, although it was a bit drier when I did it. Great stuff and I love your video. Thanks for the memories!
Good on you Muddy, i'm glad it brought back some good memories. How did the 790 go on the crossings? I would love to own a 790 Adv R. Hope your well and have a good one mate.

I love your adventure rides, the edit, the story telling and pure enjoyment is just amazing to see, thank you for keeping us all very happy! Ride safe guys! Love from London.
I took my wife and boys up to Daintree in a hired car a few years ago and we did a boat trip to see the crocs! You wouldn’t have got me in that river… I’d love to do that road again on my tiger 800 XC but it’s a bit of a ride from England!
hahaha those crocs are certainly out there. I hope our video brought some good memories back for you and the family mate. Cheers and have a good one in England.
Great to see your awesome content back again 👍 looking forward to the rest of your trip. I just got back from my own trip taking in Southern WA, SA & the Red centre. Getting to watch you videos makes quarantining easier 😉
Awesome viewing Craig. So well edited and your commentary is excellent and engaging, makes me feel I'm part of the adventure, the four bikes are seriously and well set up for the any adventure. Great work and looking forward to Part 2 HWY (Hal)
Great viewing Shadow👌 We never got to do the Creb as the first creek crossing after the Daintree it was up to chest deep so we had to retreat back to an even more swollen river crossing with current coming at you! Two drowned bikes but we survived it.🤣 That was 1992.. We even had to ride through a storm swollen Bloomfield river. That was scarey as there was a whirlpool half across to avoid. Cheers mate.
Those are some knarly river crossings and some seriously fun track! A suggestion for those carrying Inreach/SPOT's. When off road carry it on your body (I use a clip to hold it on my backpack strap) vs attached to the bike. That way if you have a really bad one you will definitely still be attached to your emergency communication device.
It surely was entertaining the old Creb track. We discussed having the inreaches on us but with 4 together all day every day we opted to put them on the bars with lowering the safety. Riding alone, different story. Cheers
This is so good ,love a good adventure series. The daintree river looked a bit fuller then when i did it but i crossed late in the season. Well done on the editing and sharing it with us. Cheers.
Cheers Brian, Im stoked you have enjoyed it a now have scene a little bit of this great country. Hopefully the cabin fever has eased and you guys are looking forward to summer over there. Have a good one now.
You know it's going to be a good day when Shadower uploads a new video! I still can't get over those red shorts, mate 😂😂 Really great to see y'all back out there. This part of Australia looks amazing!

On a side note your handlebars look rolled forward quite a bit. Bit more of a nutreal position will make them less twitchy and better in this sort of terrain.
Great video again Craig, looking forward to watching the whole series. You mentioned Hema maps on your phone, would you recommend getting the app for adventure rides? Cheers
Cheers Shane. Re Hema maps, I find it suits my needs perfectly. I would recommend it however it is expensive. Also I'm not sure about recent versions, possibly a monthly subscription fees and not as good. I would do some research before purchasing. Cheers mate
