After turning 18 and getting my motorbike learner’s license a month ago, My parents and I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to do my first big motorbike adventure from Cairns to Cape York!
Our first day of the big trip started from our Airbnb in Kuranda, we then made our way through the Daintree Rainforest and followed the Bloomfield Track to Cooktown. Lots of water crossings and mud!
We are by no means experts we just love riding as a family.

I saw your posts in the Facebook adventure riding groups and thought this looks like a great series to watch. It's really awesome that you guys ride together as a family.
The Cape is on my bucket list to do on my DRZ, funnily enough though, I'm currently editing a series on my North Queensland trip that I did 2 years ago. We flew up and did the sights in a rental car on that trip though. Bike will be next time! Good on you for taking on this trip so soon after beginning your riding journey. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the trip!

I just got my L's for my R-E license this week. How're you finding the bike now that you've had it for a while? I've got my eyes on a 300 rally as well so I'm keen to keep watching the series to see how it goes in the rough stuff. I can already tell it'd have been a bucket list trip for you
