What can I say, another entertaining, informative, and professionally edited video,I think you and Steve from Mongrel Dog productions are top of the class, you guys always do an outstanding video, never a dull moment , thank you for your effort ,ride safe ,
This is one of the best documented and entertaining videos I've seen so far. Great camera work and post production. This is the way all such reports should be done. It is like we are there with you. Great work and I look forward to the next one.
Outstanding AF, round 2 was great! What makes your story is taking time out at the end of a hard day sharing the stories around a camp fire with a nice adult beverage! 🥃👍 Cheers keep it coming Craig
Excellent country for riding in and only a few hours from my home, sadly l've never seen this part of the coastline from the landside. Maybe one day... thanks for the video, plenty to watch, catch you on the next episode
Love the accommodation, they looked like the sub contractors sleeping quarters when I was working at mt tom price in WA !(in the late 70's) Awesome video.
Great memories made Craig. What a great day you Guys had! Enjoyed the last river crossing out. You Guys did so well with that one. I'm really enjoying your trip. Great job! 👍😁
Thanks for this video - great footage and commentary keep the videos coming - great being an arm chair adventurer - part of the riding with others is the comradie and taking the mick (crack) out of each other
I really enjoyed watching part 2 as much as I did part 1. Your editing, filming and calm commentary are top notch. Showed us sights from up north that most of us will probably never see. Loved it 👍👍👍👍
Enjoying following along on the adventure. Bummer about Steve's iPad and GoPro. Chris, another alternative on the GoPro is to use the Media Mod, so far I've found the weather sealing pretty good and my audio has been OK even during rain... but I'm heading out to do IdahoBDR in 2 weeks, so that will probably be a tougher test. I'll let you know how it goes.
Hey mate, thanks for the support and helpful tips. You certainly know your technical stuff, a lot more than me. I just plug in and go for it. lol Stay in touch. Cheers mate.
Great stuff, Craig! Poor Steve! I felt a bit bad for him, but also, some of my best memories with mates are sitting around the campfire laughing at each other's mistakes/bad luck. Happens to the best of us at one point or another! Excellent filming and narration on this one, even with the lawnmower drone 😂
Awesome video! Definitely worth the wait 🙂 I absolutely love the views you are capturing! The rainbow is awesome cause of the Covenant between man and God! He promised not to flood the earth anymore! ❤ God bless you! Stay safe out there!
Great video, keep them coming. Big group of us doing Cape start of August. This will be some of us second time up there and first trip was awesome hence going back.
Just found your channel man, very cool ! Well put together , love when you’re taking the piss around the fire having a laugh , your camp feed was the pick of the bunch too , looking forward to watching the rest of the series
Hey mate and welcome to the channel. Motorbike riding is just one aspect of the adventure hey. Got to have fun around camp too. Cheers mate and hope you are well.
Another great one mate 🤙🏼 Also with your GoPro in wet weather. I’ve got the same setup and I’ve stuck some foam around the cable that plugs into the GoPro itself and it creates a bit of a seal around once plugged in. I’ve used mine in wet weather with no issues so far 👍🏼 Keen for the next ep.
Well you guys got further than me as I only got to Kurumba and me little old xt600 shit itself but next time for sure, loving the adventure Craig and spot on filming good them rivers ain’t so deep
Make old mate at the pub cook you blokes a feed the has an episode don’t know about the camping by the beach could be a chico roll for a crock haha great job👍🍻
Another epic segment of the ride! I really love the sound of those 690 thumpers when your navigating the trails and sand. Dave & Nugget (MAD TV) just released some footage up North. I wonder how close time wise & distance wise you were to each other's groups?
Thanks mate for the comments. They do sound awesome hey. I think Dave and I were a few weeks apart. We did pass some of the BMW safari guys heading north who were with Dave only a few days earlier.
Awesome series of vids Craig! I am heading up there next year (2023) and will be doing this Starcke Wokooka trk. Can u post a gps coordinate of that side track around the 17minute mark please? Cheers bud. (btw... when's the next trip for u guys?)
Hey mate, unfortunately I dont have the file for that side track. We kind of just followed the hema maps etc. Hope your trip up north is a cracker mate. Such a amazing country that part of Australia.
Absolutely awesome content! Can I trouble you with a question regarding your InReach Mini mount setup? I like the look and want to do something similar. Keep up the great filming, really fun to follow along!
Thanks Justin, glad you like the series mate. Check out the link below where you can buy the spine adapter that slides onto the inreach then use a RAM mount to attach to your handle bars. I have my old phone in a Lifeproof waterproof case however when the cord is in it is vulnerable to water penetration depending on how long its underwater. I guess you could pull the cord out and seal it up with the cover if you weren't confident on the crossings.
Bloody fantastic, good job capturing the event, quickest 46 minutes viewing I’ve experienced.
Thanks for the comments Gili. Cheers
