I need to make a video about that too because its a really good way to import something really big and shrink it down with out loosing the details. It is a little bit of trial and error to get the right size but it defiantly helps.

Cutting depth two inches means we need at least a two inch board? We're talking guitar thickness here ha.
Yes this is usually the thickest that I cut when making 3d models.
