On the wavy flag, how do you carve out the stars? Will the finishing bit (1/8” ball nose) do the same job as a 60 degree V-bit? Thanks! Hopefully I can get a response.
So I am exporting a simple extrusion from Rhino 7, but when I import it to Easel, the curves on the design disappears I only get a block. What am I doing wrong? Is it the way I export it from Rhino?
You could use a v-bit and create a workpiece that just has the outline of the shape. Then just set the depth to have far down you want the chamfer to go!
Trying to cut out a guitar neck. Bought an STL. The problem is the tabs. Does easel know that you cut the front out and adjust once you flip the piece over? I dont think it does.. Itll probably just cut the tabs off.. Would love to see a video where you cut the front and back of a 3d stl file carving.
I just started CNC as a hobby and I found this video EXTREMELY informative and easy to follow. Well done!
Thanks!
Wow, this is what help videos should be. No extra jibber jabber. To the point and very informative. Thank you.
Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I have a semi 3D question. If I cut out a shape, let’s say a circle, how do I add a chamfer to the top edge? Thanks in advance:)

I'm just starting out 3D. You purchased a model. Is there a way I can get a free model or even make my own?

If you set the playback speed to 0.75 this video is almost comprehendible.
Agree!
