This made me so emotional :( I love the focus on the tributes family and the new bond they now share due to the tragic deaths of our beloved protagonists. Not a lot of fan material focuses on how the deaths in the games effect the families outside of it and you did an amazing job tackling the subject. ❤
sobbing 😭 this scene is so sad 😭 but i commend you for being this creative to include how it affected the families because we don’t see that a lot of the time in S4HG films
I can’t imagine Ryland’s victory tour. The Trentwells and the Aftons families there. With pure hatred in the hearts of the loss of their children. I loved how Andrea put up a good fight with Ryland, but Ryland did it all for Gwenith. May Andrea Trentwell and Heilco Afton Rest In Peace. 🕊️
I actually wrote his speech because I'm planning to do it at some point. The gist is that he knows what he's done, and he doesn't ask for forgiveness, but he still hopes that they will find peace one day.

Yes. And no, I'm not going to have any relatives be reaped because the only ones who would still be eligible are Petrolea and Noah, but I'm planning to go with a completely new cast.

I was really upset that Andrea didnt win. But I guess you’re just ant to avoid the regular main character troupe survives. Like how you killed Frresia so early, despite she’s the one who got centered first.
No, it's more complicated than me simply trying not to go with the "main character wins" formula just for the sake of a twist. First of all, her backstory was submitted by another creator and she was doomed because of timeline consistency (in another movie the District 6 female mentioned there has not been a female victor in over 20 years and because the movies share the same timeline it was impossible for her to win because it would disrupt the timeline).
Freesia was also doomed because I had a District 1 victor recently and I wasn't going to have another because having a victor recently puts a target on your back and the careers already wanted revenge because Jewel betrayed them. And not every character who's introduced first is the protagonist, Freesia was introduced in order to add context for her abusive relationship and how it tied into her betrayal later but because she only had one scene before the reaping I started off with her.
I specifically made consecutive Games because my movies are connected to one another, so what happens in one year influences what happens in the next. They're not disjointed, standalone stories that have nothing to do with each other.
That, and I don't pick the character I start with randomly, they are connected to the victor somehow, whether they're friends, rivals, or something else. As for last year, I started with District 12 even if they're doomed by canon because of Warren's connection with Jewel later in the story.
Anyway, if I'm following the consecutive years pattern, then next year it's Chaff, so I'm going to start off with him right away. I know I had the tendency to pick doomed characters so far, but that doesn't mean I'll do it every time.
@@cyraelin4950 I see, well I do hope one day to see a very timid tribute who is so hopeless to win from beginning, but somehow find courage do what it takes to survives like Annie Cresta. Or someone like Lamina winning the game

1. Yes. Even in her pep talk before the fight you can tell that she's no longer confident that victory will bring her the fulfillment she was looking for but she's trying to convince herself to keep going. And then she realises that her and Ryland are quite similar and they're both vying for a victory that is meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but they keep fighting because they made it too far and cannot back down at this point.
2. I think that deep down she hesitated for a moment, but she was blinded by her grudge and decided to do it anyway. I've seen plenty of people who said that they would try to get revenge on their bully if they were reaped alongside them and this is supposed to reflect that, but in this case it's a tragic twist because the bully learned from their mistakes and moved on but the victim is still stuck in the past and cannot let go.

I have 2 character ideas,I hope one of them will be at least good enough for your next movie if you plan on doing one.
My first character is Sepia, district 4 female,volunteer, ginger hair,18 years old, green eyes, favourite weapon is a trident, she has a short temper and is desperate to have control on the career pack,she volunteered for the games as her mother is sick and her dad is a drunk who left them,basically she just wants to help out her family and going to the games is the only way she believes could help save her mom as she believes the capitol has the best in everything,she may act mean spirited but is soft at heart.
My 2nd character idea is Lovelinna (weird name ik), district 1 female,reaped,naturally blonde hair that is partially dyed black,14 years old, Hazel eyes, she has little experience with weapons as she doesn't go to career academy but she has some experience with swords and knives as her older brother thought her a little bit on how to wield them, you might be wondering why no one volunteered in her place and that's because the girl who everyone expected to see volunteer for her is someone who dislikes lovelinna heavily as her family is one of the richest in the district and she never went to a career academy to train,and that girl wants to see her suffer and basically bring shame to the district, Lovelinna cried once she got reaped and kept on crying up until the parade, you can decide the rest if you like her enough.
I know that they most likely won't get accepted tho as they are both female tributes from career distrcits which I'm sure are heavily in demand, and their backstories might not seem interesting enough to you😭

That, and my stories are ranging from bittersweet to tragic, so a truly happy resolution would be impossible.
My belief is that grief is a part of the human experience, and we should not avoid it just because it makes us feel uncomfortable. I have been shielded from grief in my childhood, which is why I started exploring it in my writing in order to understand it better.
