    I have 2 of these in my setup and they have served me well for a couple years now. They really are clones of older PTZ Optics cameras. Even the software is nearly identical. I've been really happy with them.

      I noticed the same. I’m sure they are coming from the same factory :)

    In the first video, you showed the setup in your sanctuary. Do you use any of these other cameras in your services? It would be cool to see the actual services that you've done with the various cameras.
    Also -- any comments on how quiet the PTZ functions are on any of these? I've heard that some of the cameras can be loud when using those functions.

      Yes, we do use several of them, though not this one. We use the two HoneyOptics, one of the SMTAV, and recently added the FoKaMo to the mix. I'd say the HoneyOptics are consistently the highest quality, which would make sense. Then the FoKaMo.

    I'm new to your channel, but I think I've finally found some good advice for what we need at our church. Is there a video that describes your setup and possibly some alternatives? We really need to find better options. I'm using a Canon Vixia HF R20 camcorder with a video capture card directly into a MacBook. The picture is nasty. The stage isn't well lit, but it isn't dark. I've tried all the low light settings and can't get the noise to stop in the background. Again, I love the PTZ camera ideas. We just don't have much to spend on a camera. Any other sub $500 cameras that you'd recommend?

      So, you are looking for a description of a full setup if you are starting with little or nothing? That's probably a good idea. Let me see what I can do.

      @@Foundery Yes. We’re looking at rebuilding our modest setup. The PTZ camera we had went down and the PC e we are using for vMix is getting old.

    Hey,
    Can you advise whether you have any preference with AVKANS vs Fomakao? I am in Canada and looking for an NDI, either 20 or 30x and these both seem to be around the same. This is for a new church sanctuary with seating for approximately 200 people.

      Yes, I would go FoMaKo. I think its color and video quality is higher.

    How to know how much zoom do i need?

    • @Foundery
      @Foundery  Год назад +1

      That's a great question. Really a factor of how big you space is and how close you want to get. If the camera is going to be 50+ feet away you''ll want 30x. Any less and the 20 would work fine would be my guess.
