Finished up Day 2 for the HD Rider Course. Never rode anything other than a bicycle before; My hips were sore, I was all over the place and inconsistent with throttle. BUT......After an hour, I stayed off the front brake, trusted the bike and myself more and even Superman couldn't slap the smile off my face 5 hours after we finished for the day
Very enlightening informational video! I will be taking my New Rider Course in Dec. here in Huntsville/Madison Alabama at Redstone Harley-Davidson. Got my gear and study package! Can't wait!
@michaelyingst4830 that's awesome. I took my bike out a week later learning the clutch on my own. Went and took my permit so I have that now. I'll be signing up for classes with No Cages once weather breaks. I can't wait to get my bike back out.
Great video thank you for all the tips i am sure it will help me in this coming week when i take my class i am so excited to finally get on a bike and hopefully soon join my mother and friends on rides.

@@itz_raz1129 thanks for asking, i was the only one to 100 written and ride! As an old guy i was nervous and happy w the outcome! Bought a 2020 softail standard 2 weeks after the class and surprised how much the lessons keep coming back to me!
Hi there :). I just wanted to try something spectacular and adventurous. It is beyond liberating! I’m still fresh so I keep practicing to gain more confidence. 😎🤘🏼
Right on, I love to hear it! My favorite thing about moto riding is just hoping on the bike and exploring new roads with out a gps.... wander for a couple hours & only once you’re ready to call it a day, you pull out a gps. I’ve discovered many amazing areas throughout Milwauker because of this!
Call your local H-D dealer and consult them for details. Not sure how that varies state to state. That said you will most definitely need a helmet, boots, jeans, gloves and a long sleeve shirt.
That’s awesome man. What do you ride? Make sure to comment back with some video suggestions! This wednesday I’ll be dropping a video review of ace cafe orlando 🤙🏼😤
GenZ Biker I ride an 09 Road King. Your videos are dope, I’ll say just keep doing what you’re doing and trust in yourself and the moves you make. ✌🏿 Rubber side down 🏍
M S Depends on the deals they are running! The retail price is $350 but they often run discounts and promo specials. In september certain dealers offered the class for $99. Prices truly do vary based of time of year and what the dealership is offering. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions about riding feel free to leave another comment!!! 🤙🏼
That’s awesome, I’m glad my video along with the family connection has inspired you to throw a leg over! If you haven’t already make sure to subscribe to the channel & hit the bell icon to be notified of future uploads. No prep work is required b4 entering the class. If you have half a mind and can drive a car, safe moto riding tips will make sense & the riding should come easy.
Justin Crayton I don’t mean to come off as rude but ... reread his reply. He literally just told you that NO prep work is needed before entering the class. 😂 everyone needs to stop and think before commenting. It’s really not hard, people! 👍🏼
GenZ Biker it’s mind-blowing that he said that you were “actively driving and using your phone” ... WHILE WATCHING YOU HOLD ONTO THE HANDLEBARS WITH BOTH HANDS! 🤣 straight comedy!
Wicked Aces No worries man, Whether the comment was well thought out or not, he still increased my engagement by commenting and gave me a view on the video. There’s a silver lining in everything! I will be starting my classes in villa park , On may 12 to 15 👍
U got me!!! I was like, "they have seatbelts!!"
I know riders that won't use sissy bars because if the bike goes down you can be dragged by the bar.
I start tomorrow, excited and nervous, this was good info, thanks.
how did it go

Shocked that there isn't an indoor motorcycle skills facility in Chicago
that certainly would be a great idea & opportunity to get more riders on the streets!
Thank you for this! Just purchased my Street 500. 😎
That’s awesome! What inspired you to learn?

GenZ Biker sweet! Look forward to your vlogs! I enjoyed this one. Stay safe out riding.
I'm another video, I heard about "counter steering"..did they mention any about that in your riding course?
Yeh counter steering is an essential part of motorcycle riding! I simply failed to mention it in this video sorry 😢🙏🏼
@@GenZBiker no worries, awesome video either way. Thanks for sharing it.
Test day tommrow for final riding... can’t wait.. nervous to make a mistake and fail tho..
How did you do? Pass?
@@Robocoppat yes passed.... been riding my roadking ever since
@@Tom-jw1pe good. Ride safe
Hey, so if you pass, you take that paper to BMV and they give you your endorsement or do you gotta do anything at the BMV?
Tracy Gun'z All depends on the state but in some cases yes!
Congrats on your awesome opportunity to enjoy something you like.. And great vid of the class.. Keep up the great work
The Biker Medic Thanks for the continued support brother, ride on 🤙🏼
You are welcome can't wait to see where they send you.. And a perfect summer internship for someone who rides...
do you have to pay for the helmets or will they lend you some for free?
Are there any pre-requisites that I need to do or have for the riding academy?
Call your local H-D dealer and consult them for details. Not sure how that varies state to state. That said you will most definitely need a helmet, boots, jeans, gloves and a long sleeve shirt.
Just signed up start may 15th. I’m nervous 😬😂
Is the class actually gonna happen with lockdowns?
GenZ Biker in Texas I believe they recently lifted some of the restrictions
Ohhh gotcha! Good luck and feel free to message me here or on instagram woth any questions you might have 🙏
Depends ok the state unfortunately as each state varies with their laws.
Depends on your states regulations. Unfortunately I dont know anything about alaska haha
🤣😂🤣😂 what a small world, bro that’s my home base Harley. Be safe, rubber side down and see you out there.

@@GenZBiker lol plenty of those videos on YT. They never seem to end well tho

Well in the good state of AL, there WAS prep work... and I passed
Hi Nathan
Nice shirt...
What about it?
@@GenZBiker I was referring to the Live Wire shirt.
Talking about giving a rider safety course while staring into a camera instead of watching the road. Yep.
you love to get safe driving tips from someone actively driving and using their phone
*Riding... not driving. The recording is from a mounted go pro. I DO NOT stand for distracted driving/riding.
