Thanks! I plan on continuing this type of content as long as I can afford to continue running my company. I'm working on two videos right now, one for my Chevy SSR pickup where I replace the intake manifold, gaskets and fuel injectors. I just filmed another one today for the Caprice where I replaced the cooling fan control module and the wiring harness connector to remove a connector that had been melted by a thermal event in the past.
YOU ARE ONE OF THE MOST THOUROUGH TECHS IVE EVER SEEN... Thanks for your awesome videos. We really appreciate all you do for us Caprice owners... Hopefully you can do a video on cleaning the throttle body someday.
Used your affiliate links to purchase the wires and plugs. Made my life easier since I didn't have to look up part numbers. You are really good at that aspect maybe a video for us amateurs on how to research part numbers for our caprice.
I research my part numbers from a couple of different sources. I look on the acdelco.com website looking for the ACDelco part numbers for the year/make/model vehicle and I also look on rockauto.com to see what parts they list (ACDelco and parts from other parts suppliers). In this case, the part charts stated one part number and in reality I found a different part number spark plug in use in the vehicle. Thanks for watching the video and I'm glad you found it somewhat helpful! Happy Holidays!
You know I had the same issue of that battery post being in the way on my project. I figured the bracket was bent in the accident my doner car got into because there was no way I though that that should have to be messed with in order to take off the air cleaner. So I left it bolted to the tower and bent the bracket back a bit to move it backward. Just used a large flat head. It's out of the way now and standing up straight.
Don't stop this type of quality content! A lot of people from the Caprice forms will 100% appreciate your build and repair/maintenance videos.

@@RetroCarGuy530 The Caprice is a under rated beast of a car.
