- Like most RUclips Sailing Channels, our episodes are well behind real time as we record footage almost daily but only publish an edited video fortnightly. We don’t often post “Real Time” updates like this one but when Indonesia’s Mt Ruang volcano blasted into a series of powerful eruptions leading to a tsunami alert being issued, we began receiving a lot of messages from concerned followers not sure exactly where in Indonesia we were and if we may be in danger. We are in fact in Sulawesi and well within tsunami range but have taken appropriate action to minimise any risk, as we explain in this video. In the meantime, we are LOVING remote Sulawesi and give you a little update and taste of what’s to come in future episodes of our “Dreamtime in Indonesia” series.

OMGoodness, Sulawesi looks stunning. You know how jealous I am of where you are sailing. I live my dream though you two. Having backpacked for weeks through that area I know how friendly the people are, but you are visiting places that we didn't even know existed. Love 'Adventure before Dementia'. Our grandkids are the same, think we are nuts. Being behind in your videos is no problem because you put the date on them.

We actually sailed with the 2011 rally and had a ball. Then entered Indo again with the Rally last year. We enjoyed meeting the cruisers from all over the world and made some great friends but very shortly went off and did our own thing.
