Thanks for taking the time to comment. We use a Shureflo as well and can't blame the pump for our problems. It was all down to the upstream line getting blocked. Cheers!
Oh guys, what a trip. It all looks beautiful. Glad you were somwhere that you were able to get the new battery. Wish our engine room was as accessible as yours 😊 The coral looked awesome. Sail safe guys 🥰⛵️
Cheers guys! It certainly could have been a lot worse that's for sure. Just annoying when you pay for the dearer "good quality" option and it still lets you down. So far the El Cheapo local lead acid battery is going fine - touch wood.
@@Dreamtimesail yes top of the Buton passage, the trouble we had was that they didn't know what to do with non commercial vessels we spent a number of days working this out a liberal amount of bribes got us out best of luck.
Thanks for the intel. Much appreciated. Hopefully we won't face the same issue. We've sailed 3,300 miles in Indo since July and haven't had any problems yet, but it's nice to have our agent, Raymond Lesmana, on speed dial to deal with this stuff if it happens. Cheers R & K
19:47 “surface charge” That chits me because that’s a broken Cell and should be covered by warranty, or in a perfect world NOT happen at all.. ggrrr seriously annoys me.. like a sales rep once told me when i asked? “What’s the difference between a std hybrid calcium/ lead acid battery for a 4x4 or marine?” His reply “the sticker and price” If this was in real time, that battery should still be under warranty, although how does that help you?
Yes Trev, it was under warranty but just a little hard to return it to place of purchase unfortunately. We bought Optima because of its reputation as a quality battery but it failed anyway. The noname lead acid we replaced it with in Namlea for a quarter of the price is still going strong. Touch Wood!

Beautiful video !!! incredible place...All the best to you all...👍38.......
Thank you so much 👍
Cheers guys!
Thanks Trev.
10:25 - beautiful coral!
While some coral has suffered up here, there's still a lot of beautiful healthy reef areas waiting for the Jamess. You'll love it.
@@Dreamtimesail Looking forward to getting up there!
Thanks guys!
Our pleasure Steve and thanks for taking the time to comment. We really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the Episode. Cheers R & K
Been using a Shureflo pump with a well system pressure switch 20 years and refuses to quit.

14:22 look like a new man Rob, was a shave too expensive? 😂. (Says the person who avoids shaving as much as possible)
OK - I MAY have been a few days overdue for a beard trim but at least I got a haircut Trev. HaHa!
That's funny we stopped at Kendari and were surrounded by Three mosks during Ramadan. I wouldn't recommend going there for that and other reasons.
Oops! We're heading to Kendari soon - and its Ramadan.

You are talking about a motor problem but play music in the background-WHY 😫
It was chosen as dark, foreboding music, down low just to add to the mood. Sorry if you didn't like it. We're learning as we go. Cheers!
