THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO!!!!
I have just started learning Premier Pro 1.5 months ago as I am getting into the editing scene professionally mainly because I love to create, and after just 20 days I advanced so much in it that I was hitting the physical limitation of my laptop and I could not work on advanced projects for practice.
After 1 month of research I decided to go for M2 PRO MAC MINI, and stumbled upon your video on base model M2 mini (been subscribed since I first saw it, your reviews are AMAZING), but then decided to go for base Mac Studio M1 Max as I figured I need 32GB ram just to be safe for atleast the coming 3 years. I scoured entire RUclips for a real life test like you did but couldn't find it.
I am so glad you decided to make this video and now I have zero doubts that this machine will definitely help me get better in my editing and keep up with my pace and jumpstart me in this industry.
Keep up the great work and I hope your channel blows up soon because you truly deserve it.
    KUDOS

I’m very glad I was able to help you, I make these videos for that exact reason of being able to see devices being used in real time and it’s great to hear a fellow editor benefited from it.
Thank you for your kind words, for subscribing and I wish you the best on your editing career.

@@TonyStoodios Thank you, since you are such an experienced editor I have a suggestion for a video:
      • Explain a good editing workflow step by step so as to stay focused and minimize editing time. (as a new editor I can edit most stuff but I struggle to find a good workflow to work by as a rule of thumb and that takes me time as I do not have a proper mentor to learn from)
Also I never owned a Mac, I've always been a Windows user, I know the transition to MacOS will come with a lot of strings attached, and since there isn't much freedom in Mac as we have in Windows, will that by any measure hinder my ability to fully utilize my creative abilities in it ( like finding various free templates, using free extensions, free apps for minimizing file sizes etc).

Would you say you'd prefer the studio over the m2 mac mini? From your previous review?

Studio is definitely better for my use case over the M2 Mac Mini but that's because I got a beefier machine in the studio. I bought the M2 Mac Mini with the intention to test it and see how much you can squeeze out of it.

Thank you for your review, is it still relevant for 2024? I'm looking for an upgrade from my MacBook Pro M1 8gb and I have two options in mind.... Mac Studio M1 Max base or the Mini M2 base 24gb. Which one would you recommend for working in Premiere Pro and After effects?

Focus on getting more RAM more than the chip. If you're set on getting a "Max" then just make sure you get as much RAM as you can afford. The M1 and M2 Max chips are so powerful that either of them will work for your editing. Refurbished M1 Max computers will save you soooo much money.
