An insightful, well-done interview. I’ve lost both parents, and recently lost my beloved brother, best friend and soulmate. There is no greater pain than the pain of losing a beloved sibling who emanated from the same Tribe as you. Deepest sympathy Guy, Jules, and the entire Fieri family.
We did that for my father. His last day of life? They moved him into the biggest most beautiful room in the hospital with the panoramic view. I spent hours on the phone calling everybody he knew or were related to. My cousin had food catered in. The kids played under the bed. Lifelong friends Came to Say Goodbye. They said that he would be gone by noon that day. Noon came and went. People were there into the night. My dad, as always, was the last to leave the party. He died at 1:00 a.m. the next morning.
My husband and I lost our amazing son at age 26💔. He was a US Marine Corp. pilot, killed while training. No, the pain will stay forever. We just learn a new way of living with the pain BUT it absolutely changed us forever💔❤️💔
My brothers first child was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, essentially without a transplant he would die at 5 days old. It was heartbreaking.
I have followed Guy ever since he started with food network. I have watched as Hunter and Ryder grew up and Lori’s cameos on Triple D. Guy often referenced his sister, and pointed out his tats honoring her. I am really glad I saw this video. Best regards to the whole Fieri clan.
My oldest sister got pancreatic cancer at 70. From the time she had symptoms to her death was 3 weeks. She always watched what she ate, she kept herself slim, never had any kids. She was healthy. It’s crazy. I’m sorry that Guy’s sister did everything right and still the cancer came back.
My mom was diagnosed stage 4 pancreatic cancer and immediately received hospice services. She ended up living 13 months with almost no pain. The last 6 months of her life were the most meaningful of my 52 years with her. She was hard to feel any emotional connection with so I am grateful for the unexpected last six months.
Guy has an incredible mother as well, so much love. She is friends with my own mother who also lost a daughter and is incredibly grateful for her support. This is a great family. I will never understand why people can be so mean about Guy sometimes.
This is another side of Guy I never seen . Some people talk trash about him , but deep down I think he a good person . I love watching him on DDD every Friday and Saturday night . And he talks about his sister all the time . God Bless you Guy and Morgan . 🙏🏻
Big respect for how Guy describes the 'celebration' of his sister's life. I have had the honor of holding the hands of four people close tome, as they passed. We (myself and the others who were in the room at the time) made sure we brought our best energy to the 'moments' leading up to their passing, so they KNEW that they were surrounded by LOVE.

My son’s Irish friend has always said we do funerals wrong here. It should be a happy occasion and a wonderful celebration of someone’s life. When leaving the celebration people should feel uplifted that their loved one was celebrated❤️
Our daughter battled cancer twice and it is horrific to watch and be part of ,and what it does to your family . We worry every day it will come back again 💔😣
I always think that the worst pain of all is having to watch your child suffering from cancer/treatments. I cannot imagine. I am happy that she has won the battle twice. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I took care of my mom while she was in hospice and stayed at my house. I am not one to be afraid of death, perhaps that is why she chose me to be with. But it was a precious and beautiful moment to be there when she passed.
I really enjoyed Anthony Bourdains work but I always thought he was quite classless punching down at Guy, taking cheap shots like some elitist snob. Lets face it, Guy isn't a Michelin Star French Restaurant chef but he's real, he knows and loves food. His show has done more for small business and the lives of those who own those businesses. Plus, he certainly seems like a decent man.
My condolences Guy 🙏. And I understand what you are saying as that's the way I saw my mom had died with beauty, peace and acceptance and she herself had lost two of her kids at a younger age and she never really got over it. Praying for your mom and the family 🙏
