It's a giant misconception that Killer Whales are dangerous to humans.
Tons of people swim with Killer Whales all the time, they do not see humans as a threat or prey AT ALL.
The only time you can get harmed by Killer Whales is when they're in defense mode and you disturb them during a hunt, feeding, or mating.
In your case you were filming during a hunt, you can tell by the pod's formation, and the "expert" that was with you should've known that.
You're more likely to get killed by a cow than a Killer Whale.

Yeah, It seems the odds stack to make it very unlikely we get them both alive, and well to this day. But I don’t believe in the multiverse theory, so IMO that makes Steve-O surviving his stunts, getting clean, saving his life by being sober, all the more precious, because the universe only gets one Steve-O, or Chris Pontius.

I see that out of all the million ways you could have reacted and replied, thats the path you chose too.
