I listen on my drive to work in the morning after a GREAT night of sleep due to the same soothing story telling voice. Doctors should prescribe this channel for insomniacs
I’m a tattoo artist and I find that I can’t listen to music because my hand will go with the tempo of the music, rather than what I need to do a particular design. So I listen to these stories as I work!! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a new episode up 😁
Init totally get that I never thought I’d listen to stories but I do and there mint.I love my music but I prefer the stories right now great comment 🧚cx
@@talktalk2412 I listen using headphones while i work, as to make sure I don’t bother them at all 😅 I could only imagine what they would think if they could hear what I’m listening to.
@@talktalk2412 not really, we talk for the first 20 minutes or so while I’m setting up and what not. I also don’t listen to my headphones too loud and always tell them I can still hear them if they need anything. Most people just want me to do whatever it takes for me to get in my creative mindset. If that means listening to my headphones, they are cool with it! And I don’t always wear them, sometimes I chat with them the whole time. I guess it depends on the client and the day 🤷♀️
I may fall asleep, and love it helps me find rest... but the first thing I do on my morning commute is re-listen... can't miss out on the content either!
Am I the only fan of his that doesn't fall asleep? Lol I work 3rd shift and listening to his stories makes me get lost and it makes my 10hr shifts fly😃
I listen to these sometimes to fall asleep but I also play them during the day while i get ready or do any other tasks during the day. I love these stories. Seriously the best narrator I have heard. I have been listening for about 3 years or more!
I’ve always been equal parts saddened and intrigued by Susan Walsh‘s disappearance. However, when one goes missing without a trace and never to be seen again, my money’s most definitely on the Russian mob and not the vampy new wave bloodsuckers!
Probably the mob and high ranking officials being involved in the vampire culture or lifestyle were probably working together and the professors at the university was also sketchy too about his statements of her disappearance when he had her go deeper into that world because he didn't believe her first story was legitimate
I like listening to these stories to fall asleep. It's like being read to before bed. Also like listening to these while doing mundane tasks like getting ready in the morning, folding laundry, etc. Makes the day more interesting. Thanks Joel!
The antibiotic Lars was prescribed is the class cephalosporin, which can cause psychotic reactions in some people. Usually it's confusion, but more violent/neurotic reactions can also happen. I wonder if he was one of those people who are prone to extreme adverse effects, and maybe the preexisting stress exacerbated them?
I very much enjoyed these great stories!!! Your voice and narration is awesome Joel 🖤🖤🖤 I appreciate all of the hard work you put into your vids!!! Thank you so much 🖤💙🖤 Take care, stay safe and God bless you!!!
@@basedcommodore you don't know anything about this guy or me for that matter. there could be other reasons like economic reasons, family, sickness. We don't know. You just seem real ignorant to me.. I don't even understand your hostility. You're like an alien who just got his first phone or something. Go touch grass.
I'm always excited I see a new upload to listen to while getting ready for bed and falling asleep. Let's read it part of my nightly wind down routine ❤️
Lars probably had a severe infection or progressive brain damage from the fighting. An infection could have progressed and effected his nervous system causing delusions
The story in Part 3 where the 14 year old girl was left home alone until 5:00 AM while her family was gone… Why do so many people think they must be “hallucinating” or “just seeing things” when they obviously are witnessing something shady going on? I have NEVER saw a person at a weird time or something else going on and thought, “hmm… I must be hallucinating seeing that man creeping around my house”! Then, if you hear someone in your house, then they try turning your locked bedroom doorknob and go back outside and start looking into your bedroom window AGAIN… you think you are just imagining things??? The WORST part is when the victim never tells an adult! I can’t imagine something like that happening to me and I just ignore it then not tell my parents! I don’t know about anyone else, but I have raised my three children to ALWAYS let me know about ANYTHING even slightly shady going on AND that they can ALWAYS come to me about ANYTHING! Plus, I would NEVER leave a 14 year old child alone, ESPECIALLY overnight! What is wrong with people? WHO does that?! Sorry, I needed to get that off my chest! 😅
I completely agree. Parents wonder why their kids don't go to them with their problems... well Karen and Bob, it's because you patronize them and basically tell them they're lying! I could go to my dad with anything, no matter how unreasonable or unrealistic it sounded.. he would go through every square inch of my room and the house.. and he'd never tell me ",ohh you're just seeing things".. I loved that about him. My mom was different, she would kinda question it, but once she saw I looked terrified and I was panicking, she would have a look around and then tell me to get in bed with her. I couldn't imagine brushing my child off when they were scared and coming to me for comfort/help. How would they feel if they told their kid that they're seeing things, and woke up the next morning to find their kid is gone, taken! It's our job as parents to make sure our children are safe, no matter what! ❤
I don't get it either. I always listen to my kids and would always check out what they thought they saw. Under the bed, in the closet, and I would even go outside with a flashlight and a weapon. I never just dismiss what they would say.
I listen to these to sleep and to hear the stories throughout the day. Only issue is my brain gets them mixed up. Which is why I'm still awake but likely will start nodding off later. 😂
I don't know why cave systems are not more commonly considered for forest disappearances. We always look up when we need to look down. All you need is a hard to see opening of a foot or two covered by vegetation and you can be swept down before you can even register what is happening. If you look at the map of disappearances in national parks in the US and put it next to a map of the charted cave systems it is spooky how they line up with each other.
And that one story about finding that random bench deep in the woods... A bunch of us went camping back in '78 and we found an abandoned toilet in the middle of nowhere! Not hooked up to anything, not functional just a perfectly good toilet set up in the middle of the woods and I mean deep into the woods. That couldn't have been to easy to carry 😅
Damn my cousin was on the phone. When the notification came, and I missed the live. This shall be a hell of a week. Thanks Read I'm going to enjoy this 🤎🖤👍🏾

@@kelvingonzalez1450 The narrator.

Exactly 😂
Love the phrase “untimely disappearance” like there’s an opposite.
“My husband disappeared but it was a timely one, so we’re not bothered.”
I read redundant phrases for fun
Another great phrase I heard recently in another true crime video was "victim of an untimely murder".
I guess timely is like if they’re acting really strange or are talking about leaving town or anything like that previously happening
It's a real story too Susan Walsh. I remember reading about it when I was a kid
😆😂🤣👏
I do fall asleep to these, but I also play them while awake. I love listening on Spotify while coloring
