The pulling on the boots is an indication that they were off, which means he had been sexual with her, which was why she didn’t answer their communicator. It was a way of implying the sex without needing to show anything. Sex, after all, is really in the mind. And quick!
Kirk had his share of company. He did it while in crew rest, shore leave & a variety of alien civilizations. Even the others...Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Chekhov, Sulu, nurses, crew...they were getting some! 🖖
Mine to. Third season episode, Wink Of An Eye. The third season wasen't really that bad, there were five that were the pitts, over all, not really that bad, although it wasen't up to par like the second season and especially the first season which was the very best of all three. Shame NBC screwed Gene Roddenberry over the way they did.
One of the fan books from the 1970's postulated that Deela went back to Scalos and became pregnant with Kirk's child. She had a daughter who then became the next queen of Scalos in the accelerated universe.
If the molecules are thinner than its life support system space, they likely wont create any turbulence nor wakes. They slice through it like a laser. But I can relate to added special effect, like a breeze passing as they disappear? That wouldn't have require much to produce such a visual effect..a fan. I agree with your logic ! 🖖
I think it's a fallacy that they can move faster than can be seen, like in an alternate Superman II scene where Clark speeds through the Daily Planet to reach the street before Lois falls to her death, and no one can see him, though there's wind. Still, an interesting enjoyable episode.
Whenever you began hearing high note strings, that meant sexy time! The music was so well orchestrated with repeated themes to set the mood...danger, battle, disgrace, funny, epilogue, Captain's Log..the flow of the music & imagery made the show so difficult to miss! I'm 59 and grew up watching these and reruns to present day, if it's on, I'll watch. It's seems underrated today. I enjoy all the spin offs but its beginning spawned the others. They're all good!
Loved the scene with Kirk putting his boots on. Studdly Kirk!!
The infamous boot scene--a ST classic!
There's no if, ands or buts about that one. He's putting on his Boot, and she's fixing her hair.
ERRRRRRMA *GERD!!!* So I _did_ see what I thought I saw! (And rrrowrrrr! T'warn't no puddy tatt!)
Got past the censors, I guess.

Quick, even for the fact they were already moving quickly
In this accelerated time frame, it was definitely a quickie...
I see Scotty has taken the advice of Drax and used the stand perfectly still so they don't see you method.
I remember when I first saw this episode is in the second week of July very warm and sunny!
Kirk scores... that didn't take long!
Considering that Kirk and her were living in accelerated speed, Kirk literally made love in a “wink of an eye “ 🙃
How did I not put together before now that Rael is the same actor that played the crazy doctor in The Brain that Wouldn't Die?!
ahhhh! another satisfying piece of alien poontang
This is one of my favorite episodes.

I bought only 5 from the 3rd season (out of 26 I bought) on VHS 30 years ago, including this one, when I couldn't watch it on TV.
THIS IS HOW UFOs MOVE!
It's funny how he moves he head around when he talks through his neck communicator.
Kirk beat them with the slip the salami maneuver
😁😆😂👍🖖

2:40 Pillow fight!
Kirk can't risk being injured or he might die from cell damage like the other crewman did, which they blamed him for.
Aluminum foil looking outfits for the aliens 🤣🤣🤣
Funny we never saw these again like a lot of them.
Kirk putting on his boots in what must have been after the Universe's quickiest-quicky of all time...
They are accelerated after all 😂
@@CuntstantinePoor James T. Talk about premature eja...never mind.
at that pace, it will take Scotty another 3 months before he gets all the way into the transporter room.

Wow, it's a good thing James T. Kirk got his boot on or that could have gone very wrong!!!!! lol
I would think that Kirk's heart rate would accelerate to the point that it would be fatal.
As the slightest bruise would have killed Kirk, mixing it up with Rael and exchanging blows was not an option here.
When Kirk threw the pillow at Real, why didn't the pillow just stick in mid-air?
Interesting that they can move through the air at astronomical speed yet no wind seems to be produced.

I'd say my favorite episode would probably be who mourns for Adonis? It features kirk at his most defiant! 😄👍
I read that to fast, "real" fights? Oh wait no thats not it.
KIRK: I'll be kissing another of your boarding party an a few more scenes, why not bring your weapon there too?
Kirk was a real womanizer. They all loved the macho hero!
@@Romulan2469 Not really a womanizer, these scenes were written into the episodes by the direction of Gene Roddenberry.

That's 100% true.

CAPTAIN SCHTUP!
A jealous god!
Aaaahhh the Illuminati strikes back???????
Do what now?
I suggest new seasons of CBS star trek, but including another vulcano: prof. Tievans (lol).
Nice outfits. Not.
