- It is the middle of August - summer is nearly over!!😱 To make sure this is a great summer, I wrote myself a bucket list with everything I want to do and experience - with all my senses. 👍
Thank you! Love your summer bucket list. It's those 'small' but o so special things that make your summer. For me it's the same. The warmth of the sun on your skin, getting out in the rain (well..drizzle), washing from the line outside, fresh strawberries from the allotment. Have a lovely summer!

Thank you so very much for the summer update. I hope that you are continuing to have fun and enjoying yourself in that last month of summer that is left in the year. I go for a morning walk of 45 minutes each morning (between 5-5:30 AM in the summer due to the heat and in the cooler/colder months around 10 AM) I have not missed a single day since November 2019. I have all sorts of weather gear so even though I look foolish to others it keeps me dry. Your balcony looks really cozy and picturesque for living in the city and the added bonus of being able to container plant vegetables is wonderful!
Enjoy your walks! That sounds awesome and really healthy. :) In German we have a saying, 'Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung.' = 'There is no bad weather, only bad clothing.' Maybe you have German ancestors? ;)
I absolutely love thunderstorms and your footage at the end made my soul so happy. 🥰 It made me realize I really need to sit and enjoy them more when they happen. 😊

For my family it doesn’t truly feel like summer until we go to the open air market that my great grandfathers helped found and build. It’s been going nearly 100 years already! It’s very cool that we have a picture of the group of founding men who actually built some of what is still being used.
That is such a wonderful tradition. I love markets, and one with such a long history must be awesome! Kudos to your great grandfathers!! :)
