    Now you can and it would be most appreciated. Once I reach my $1,000 goal, I'll be buying a second camera to record my mixing palette since it's the number one request I get. Cheers! www.buymeacoffee.com/steveatk...

    I'm great at starting Inktober and great at not finishing Inktober, but here's a technique I use to loosen up and have some fun. Fish is the theme for day 1, and so I'm drawing my favorite fish... the Incredible Mr. Limpet. Ready to have fun and learn something at the same time? C'mon, dive in, the water's fine!

      So cool! I'm glad to hear that it still holds up. I don't have kids, or grandkids, but I may have to get a copy just for old time's sake, lol.

    Fabulous! I would definitely say you've not lost your touch from your illustration days. Some really great technique here. I haven't thought about this movie in years and years. Thinking back, I remember it fondly but don't remember much about it. I don't know if I have a favorite fish movie. Jaws probably. My favorite Don Knots movie though would be The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. Great to see another video from you. I think I probably have a couple others of yours to catch up on.

      I loved the Ghost and Mr Chicken, it's my favorite movie of his. I remember the scene where he's in the haunted house, it's late at night and he sees a framed portrait painting that's oozing blood... maybe with a hatchet buried in the painting? He was perfect for that role. Thank you buddy, much appreciated. I have a couple of yours to catch up on as well, grin. Say "Hey" to Reese for me!

    Yes! What a great movie. It definitely does not suck even if my kids looked at me weird when I shared it with them. Thanks for the memory.

      That's so good to hear Debora. So, the question everyone is asking is, did your kids enjoy it? I mean, it does kinda have a superhero!

      Go for it! Just enjoy the process and knowing that with every drawing you'll get a little better. If you do a drawing a day for 30 days even, when you look back you'll be amazed at how much you've grown in such a short time.

    That was fun. I haven't seen or heard of the movie but I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm surprised you haven't watched it since you were a kid. I have a few favorites from when I was a kid and I've watched them countless times as an adult. That includes making my kids watch them when they were young lol.

    • @Finkeldinken
      @Finkeldinken 3 года назад

      Yes, he has a light pencil sketch and then he inks over that, I don't see the problem? He's demonstating scribbling with ink?

    • @SteveAtkinsonFineArt
      @SteveAtkinsonFineArt  3 года назад

      Hi Kris, thanks for watching. I always sketch a light guide to follow as I do the inking. I'm not trying to mislead anyone or hid anything. It just saves time since most don't want to sit through a very long vid. Thanks for the comment and happy drawing!!!

    Wait does the Tom bow blender actually blend or is it for lefting color? I know with alcohol markers the colorless blender is for lefting colors not blending. I guess I can take out my tom bows and try it myself after work.

    • @SteveAtkinsonFineArt
      @SteveAtkinsonFineArt  3 года назад +1

      Sorry, I don't know what lefting is, but it's called a blender and it does blend the different shades... let me know what you find out?!? Thanks for the question!
