Im recreating my favorite Starbucks order at home and honestly I don't miss the Starbucks version as I think this might be even better and cheaper at that! We are using the Nespresso Vertuo Line for this recipe but you can follow along with the Original line as well since I give you the capsules you can substitute with. I hope you enjoy this Starbucks Copy Cat recipe. Is this not your go to order? Let me know yours and I can try to recreate it!

Grande iced caramel latte w/ 3 pumps toffee nut and light caramel drizzle. 🤤 absolutely delicious. And just like you said, when you perfect it at home it tastes so much better. 🤗

Cheaper too. I add oat milk to the bottom of my cup, then my capsule, then foamed milk or oat milk again.

You can measure the milk in the frother. There are two lines. One is for half a cup and the other is for a cup. Can't wait to try this drink. Thanks

I love scuro and chiaro. My go to drink is iced caramel macchiato with vanilla and caramel sauce. If not, i make a caramel latte. Also, I use my oatly barista edition and it tastes so much better than starbucks or costa.

Just a helpful tip, you don't want the espresso shot to stay out alone longer than 30 seconds or else you get what's called a "dead shot" where the espresso will lose its effectiveness. Pour a little milk, syrup, or put an ice cube in to remedy this!
That is a complete myth 😉 I’ve done research on this and it’s in fact a myth. Yea it oxidizes but it won’t loose caffeine. Not sure what you mean by effectiveness either. Espresso shots don’t die, if you work for Starbucks it’s just something they train you to believe so you move faster

I'll bite. I have the original Nespresso so references to those pods would be awesome, offbrand is fine.
Starbucks isnt my first choice but when I go there (these are all hot drinks because it's winter)
- Caramel macchiato, extra caramel, sometimes extra shot (I get this cold in the summer as well)
From the Holiday menu:
- Chestnut Praline Latte, extra shot, add brown sugar syrup
- Caramel Brulee, extra shot, add brown sugar syrup
Also I have only tried the apple crisp and the pistachio latte once each, but I liked them a lot. I see you already have a recipe up for the apple and I plan to try it once I get the syrup.

You should try making peppermint mocha. I just add either hot choc powder or choc sauce to my brewed espresso and a dab of peppermint extract, and then some frothed milk.

Can you do a recipe on the cinnamon torani syrup, I've been trying to see what I can do to create with it but just been kind of stumped.

You should try high protein milk! It foams the best (seriously - the higher the protein the better the foam, you can look it up 😜) and helps with blood sugar control.

Am I doing something wrong? My Iced Lattes always separate into 1/2 brown and 1/2 white. They don't seem to blend for me. I use Blue Diamond Almond Milk.
Even after mixing them together they soeperate?

Only sold through nespresso website in This color. Sometimes they have sales

Don’t you think the machine brews it for too long? Like, I wish it would stop it before so that coffee is more concentrated and not watered down. Sometimes I’ll take the cup out and replace it so another one catches the watery coffee
You can stop it by pressing the button and it’ll stop brewing at your desired amount
If you go to your manual it also shows you how to reprogram each size capsule so you don’t get that amount each time

Using the original scuro and my coffee isn’t coming out that dark/black - why?😭
From original line you’ll need to use corto to be similar to vertuo scuro and you’ll need two capsules

Decaf pregnancy safe recipes
Caffeine is safe during pregnancy. Read up on decaf coffee in pregnancy, from my research it sounds like nothing but decaf is worse that one cup of regular coffee per day. With that said if you still want decaf during pregnancy just get a decaf pod usually altissio is the only decaf espresso option. I would use two capsules for every recipe.
